question of flags imgPlot

Hello

I have a question about the flags passed to imgPlot (the last parameter).  There seems to be a disconnect between what assistance said in the function Panel for imgPlot and which is defined in niimaq, h.  Firstly, aid in the function Panel indicates that there is an indicator of IMGPLOT_COLOR_HSL32 that can be used, but I don't see a constant defined in the section 'Flags imgPlot' in niimaq.h (or anywhere else).  Where is this defined constant?  I also noticed that there is an IMGPLOT_AUTO indicator defined in niimaq.h that the function group does not mention.  Can I use this flag with imgPlot?  Looks like it would be rather convienent, but I do not know how the service would be able to determine the type of image, given the parameters passed to it.

I use CVI 2010 SP1 on Windows 7 64 - bit with IMAQ 4.6.1 installed.

Thank you.

Hi tstanley,

I have look in our help and the niimaq.h documents and see what you mean. It seems that the IMGPLOT_COLOR_HSL32 is not defined anywhere and the IMGPLOT_AUTO in has not supported as part of the help. I filed a request for remedies on the switch, if all goes well, there will be a future fix.

    Hello

I have several questions about the DBT indicator, which could help make more clear?

I'm clear on the indicator of DB_DBT_MALLOC / DB_DBT_USERMEM, but when I use get without cursors, which the memory to which refers the pointer stored in the DBT if I use the 0 flag? I need to free the memory?

Use cursor get, I see examples in the manual always seems to use indicator 0. What memory did reference? Is it safe edit data, it comes then to put new data? I need to free the memory? Can I use DB_DBT_MALLOC /DB_DBT_USERMEM when using cursor get? Is it allowed to use a record of cursor get everything first, then use to replace data from this record without cursor?

Can you give suggestion when using flag 0?

    Thanks in advance!

    Min

    Hi Min,

When you use 0, BerkeleyDB will be allocates memory for you, and when you close the cursor memory will be released, so there is no need to free the memory. But the content of this piece of memory is crushed when you call next get of cursor, if you need to save the content if you need it after getting another cursor. You can change the data, but should not change the bytes of this piece, so we suggest you to use your own memory to dial and the data rather than modify the data returned directly.

The use of DB_DBT_MALLOC/DB_DBT_USERMEM to cursor to get, please consult http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17076_03/html/api_reference/C/dbt.html for detailed information.

Finally, if your database is not set with DB_DUPSORT or DB_DUP, you can overwrite a record without cursor. Otherwise, you must use the cursor to replace the data in most cases. Here, crushing him means to change the data, not the key. If you need to change the key, you must do a sequence of delete-add operations.

For more information on the cursor and set cursor, be sure to check the DBcursor-> and DBcursor-> put Chapter 3.  The DBcursor handle

  • Question "reset done flags".

I'm copying a project to a DB to 2 other DB. When I do the first copy of the upgrade checkbox is checked and the done check box is cleared. When I do the 2nd copy the upgrade box is check, and the fact check box is selected. Since I have the "Reset done Flags" checked, it must be reset the done flag before making the copy - is that correct?

    Thank you

    Allen

Yes. You're right, the flags did Reset happens before the migration.

  • Unflagged messages always appear under "Flagged" in the Mail application

Even after I delete the messages indicator, they appear as "Flagged" in the Mail application. How can I remove them from "Flagged"? Please note that I don't want to delete them.

    Hi, ale.schmidt!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reading your post, I see that when you clear a flag to a message in Mail, they always appear in the box to the Flagged letters. I use the mail every day, so I know how it is important to be able to manage your messages, and I'd be happy to help you!

The first thing I would say is to leave the Mail app following the instructions here: OS X El Capitan: Quit apps

Once you have left the Mail app, press in and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard. While now Shift click the Mail icon to open the application again. Check if the messages in question were removed from the mailbox Flagged.

If you still see the messages there, try restarting your Mac by clicking on the menu  Apple in the upper left corner of your screen and selecting restart... from the menu drop down. Once the computer is back on, check if the messages are always under the Flagged mailbox.

You can then start the computer in safe mode if the messages are always listed under Flagged. The following article will guide you through a startup in safe mode: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up

Although the title of this article does not exactly your question, it is always a good step to take. Safe mode works certain system checks during the startup process, and disables some software that may be causing a conflict. Once you have started in safe mode, check if the messages are always listed under Flagged.

  • Keep changing to red all the flags in Apple Mail

When I use indicators to tag messages in my Apple Mail app, they all end up going to red. It happens when I change to another folder and come back or after I exit and restart the application. I like to use different colors to remind me of emergency or to do or wait to do etc etc... It would be really useful to be able to use the different colors. If anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix?

    Hey scottyincali,

Thank you brining your color of flag of changing the questions here mail in Apple communities. I can offer some troubleshooting steps, but without having some information isolation for this issue, we cannot immediately solve.

The first thing we need to know is if the problem occurs in Safe Mode and a Test user. Safe mode will tell us if the problem is related to an element start or plugins. A Test user will let us know if the problem is related to your account, or at the system level. For Sade Mode, please open this article: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up. Once in Safe Mode, test and see if the problem still occurs. If this is the case, please go and make a Test user. You can make the user Test while you are using safe mode. How to test a question in another account on your Mac user. You will need to configure the e-mail account, download the mail and test here in the test user.

Now use what we found of such isolation measures to solve your problem. If the problem occurs in Safe Mode and Test user, you can try to reinstall the OS and see if that helps. It will not destroy your personal data, but it is always recommended to have a backup using Time Machine in case of unforeseen problems. You can use this article to help make a backup: use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac. Once you have the backup, use this article to reinstall Mac OS X. How to reinstall OS X on your Mac

If questions remain after a reinstall of Mac OS X, I recommend that you erase the hard drive, which will remove all your personal data and reinstall Mac OS X without your personal data on the computer. This article will help you: wipe your drive and install OS X. If the problem does not occur without your personal data on the computer, you want to migrate the data to the computer. Do not restore from a backup like that will likely bring the matter immediately in. This article will help you: move your content to a new Mac by using the section "use the Migration Wizard.

If the problem does not occur in Safe Mode or the Test user, I recommend contacting AppleCare to contact Apple support, because there are several issues to check to fix that, and they have more options available to help you resolve it quickly and easily.

    See you soon.

  • Integration and Radian mode Question on HP 50 g calculator

It seems every time I change radian to degrees and OK mode mode, it will be always a few minutes later. I don't know if I accidentally activated a flag to cause it to happen or not, but how can I keep the calculator in degree mode always?

I have a question about integration on the HP 50 g as well. Here is a picture of what I seek to accomplish on the HP 50g: http://i.imgur.com/qTt9kHp.png

I'll tie it also via this post.

My problem is this: I need to take the integral on x while having a 'B' variable in the integral so. I want my final answer to appear as 1 333 + 0.333 B as does in the attached picture and the link above. But every time I entered the variables and constants and take the integral, I get the following error message:

    Error: Name not set

What exactly what I need to change in order to calculate the integral?

    Hi VitaX,

You want to integrate it in exact mode to get the desired response.  To switch between exact and about modes, hit shift to the right (hold) and enter.  The equal sign upward into the annunciator area of the screen indicates the exact mode.  Punching in your problem, I had (B + 4000) / 3, which is the exact shape of 1 333 +. 333 B.

The calculator SHOULD go to radian mode to run most of there CASES of advanced features (included integration of the exact mode)... There is no way around that.

    Best regards, Hal

    Hello

I recently bought the TV LED 50L2456DG (no need of smart tv features!) But I have a few questions.
    1. impossible to pass again firmware... Followed the instructions but without success. Formatted a usb flash drive (not Fat32) FAT according to the instructions. Coppied the file right .bin (50L2456.bin) chose the upgrade from usb, but nothing happens. The TV turns works again without any upgrade. Used 4 different USB flash drives with the same result.
    2. the media player is terrible... MKV files have no sound and Greek submarines are not displayed correctly (the cheaper model of 48L1433DG has no such problems)... The navigation arrows do not jump forward or backwards (like an old 32 '' tv I who has a way better menu and drive multimedia support and is s 5 years TV toshiba) and makes it very inconvenient to use.
3 picture mode (wide native, etc.) must be selected each time I have change the setting and does not it whenever I turn on the TV turned off and every time I change the channel.

    Hello

    1. what SW version is running on your game?

3 have you tried Menu Application / Auto Format = WE already? It will detect 16:9 flag and automatically switch to this format when it is reported by the current program. Screen format by default (if no indicator 16:9 is detected) is that you select in the menu "format of the image.

A couple of moths ago, I added a 'Add' to my browser window which allowed me to identify and locate the IP addresses of the sites I visited. I think it was called 'flag' - something. • Why are my download speeds so slow with flag and windows 7. My dell inspiron becomes 10-13 mb

    Windows 7 operating system

This Pavilion is brand new and only get like . 2 Mbps of speedtest.net. The download speed is normal, but the dwnload speed is terrible. Now, I still have my old computer sitting here and it is on the same network WIFI get 10 to 15 Mbps of speedtest. It's a dell inspiron with windows vista. This must be a matter of hardware/software. I saw many posts to ask this question but I havnt seen the answers. Please tell me you can help...

    -Ray

    All,

I have this SAME problem.  I just bought my m6 Pavilion three days previously and immediately noticed that the download speed is very slow.  In addition, a lot of things people recommend this site do take into account that the laptops are brand new, the parameters are already factory installation and things are not running in the background whenever we try to download.  And just like the original - poster I have my old laptop awkward, almost dead here and it's the things download 5 times faster than my new laptop.

Also, I found another post online from a user in HP Pavilion, who bought a new laptop and this is the slow download.

So taking all this into account, a PERSON LOGIC CAN CONSLUDE THAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH the computer PORTABLE PAVILION.  Yes, is there an employee HP mans this site who can lift this problem and come back with the official HP answer to why this problem occurs?  I will definiately go online and noted the low ratings sites flag if I don't get an adequate response.

  • General error handling question

So far, I've been able to intercept errors if I standard VI of wire in order (for example file IO) and handle errors in this way.

Can I really take my code for errors without such wiring?

For example, write on the Board that VI is not a mistake. If I leave the path to the empty file, I get an error, but no way to catch them. If my sub - VI generate errors and error ports, I'm fine. If they are not, I have no means to capture the error. Is this correct?

Is there a way magic of creating a cluster of error with a TRUE value whenever an error anywhere (main or sub - VI), or is it wishful thinking?

    Thank you!

If you want the treatment of errors in the file IO, you can make your own using the lower level file tools. They have all the error handling.

You can open the worksheet screws and inspect the code if you wish. Make bring changes, then save them under a new name.

Also do not forget that it is the management of automatic errors (enabled by default), then the screws worksheet will trigger a popup of error (most often unwanted!) if it occurs inside.

Many functions have no errors (for example more basic numeric operations) and a lot of mistakes is not relevant. You should try to catch errors that really matter. Do not forget that the tail all a thread long error will require sequential operations and prevent so potentially the compiler optimization and parallel execution on multicore systems. One of the great powers of LabVIEW is the ease of parallel, simultaneous operation, so do not too throw a lot of sand in the gears.

And, to answer your question, there is no magic way to add function error hydrants that isn't them. You can however wrap them in your own subVIs where you have sanity check on entries and exits, go into/out of the function without error. (for example check because "not a path" out "write on a spreadsheet file", empty array that comes out 'read the worksheet file', and/or place an explicit 'file dialog' in front of them and grab the flag cancelled, etc..)

  • Replacement HARD drive questions

So to make a long story short the Thinkvantage Toolbox thing reported a bad hard drive for about a month now.

I get no other indicators of failure of emminet as bad sectors but didn't want to push the thing as its under warranty so I am in touch with the contact centre yesterday and had a replacement delivered today drive, and I live in the Bush so kuddos it.

However, I have this HARD drive with nothing but lables to ship the old man back to "avoid being charged for the new part.

If at this point, I have two main concerns.

I understand the work of monkey of replacing the drive on this computer, but am I to assume that the new disc has a preloaded OS or something or there at - it a procedure that I could follow, perhaps?

I've done some general poking around on the net and you have not found anything so far so I'll try here.

My second consideration relates to return a drive that I lived with for more than six months and shows no other problems except for a flag of Thinkvantage.

I understand that there is a kind of extended warranty "servece" that allows the physical conservation of the old drive and I'm not trying to be a jerk on everything that I understand the recycling of old electronic devices and so forth and so but it seems silly just send my old data like this on a vague threat of a charge if I do not return the part.

I am happy to return the thing, but if I am not satisfied that I was able to erase the disc it will come back with a few nails through it and etc.

Is that going to undergo this 'charge', they mention?

If the old drive was more like a bad drive I would not also be concerned about data cleaning, but I'm not tickled on the idea of sending the thing somewhere with more than half a year of various personal information on this subject in its current state.

How they even think that they would be "charge" is another question altogether, but I find rather reasonable for my worries appealed, if one is available to force the issue unnecessarily.

    Thank you.

Well, got some information by e-mail, Lenovo, this morning.

Fitness beat email out here to the boonies in less than 24 hours Friday.

UPS has been everywhere this one not?

The confusing side kuddos for the speed again and I noticed that the replacement drive is more than 50 concerts more so than the old car so more warm and fuzzies of my dissertation.

  • Win 7 restart after update - where the flag.

When an update is made, sometimes a reboot is required.  No one knows where, in the system, this requirement is implemented?  Y at - there a way to change this, if the system does not start properly, but just attempts at repairs and restarts?

This question about the installation of updates, just is not the computer usable again.

Retoring to a previous version does not work, cannot start in safe mode, but it is not my computer and cannot answer any other questions.  I think that a flag would have been set in the registry, or perhaps in the logic of initialization somewhere, but I don't know.

So, is it possible to use msconfig or regedit or taskmgr bcdedit to make changes that would eliminate the requirement to complete the update and allow a normal start?  Or a way to uninstall the update incriminated by using system recovery?
