• New Question guys on name of relational logic changes

  Sorry for the 'New Guy' question. I try it the way I wanted it worked rather than how it does.
  
  Let's say I have an entity named 'current database' with an attribute named "name of current database. Everything that is plan English for the logic model. Now, when I generate the relational model I want the Table named 'CDCD_CURRENT_DB' and the column named "CURRENT_DB_NAME".
  
  I worked with a glossary and a few other features trying to get this to work. He does little but I do not completely understand and I think I'm missing out on a large part of the power of the product. I was forcing the nickname 'CARTER' (as it is called) and the "database" to "DB" in the abbreviation "preferred" entity.

  It can be done with a glossary, but it seems to me that what you want is not native in the run-up to the glossary.

  If you want to use the preferred abbreviation, it must be CDCD_CURRENT_DB.
  For me CDCD_ is just a prefix - you can handle it separately in the relational model - on all the model, subview and in both cases classification types can also be used to determine how the objects are prefixed.
  You don't want not common to be abbreviated so do not put it in the glossary, but you should check the incomplete "Modifiers" checkbox in the glossary.
  Entity property 'Short name' goes to the table during engineering abbreviation. There is a transformation script that precedes the columns in the table with the abbreviation of table if you need. And another may remove the prefix.
  You can set the name in the plural in the glossary and if the entity name is a single word then plural names will be used during translation.

  I reported the bug.

  I tried the project in Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera and on a phone Android (4.3). All scroll only part of the way when it is clicked on a letter at the end of the alphabet.

  I tried with and without a scalable content HTML selected. Same results.

  The project works as expected when published SWF and not HTML5. which means that the index of the letter made scroll to the correct position in the list of terms when published under the title of SWF.

  I don't have much time to play with this right now, but if you open glossary_use.js, it is in the folder of the ws. Find a line like the following and play with the dataID number * 20. If you are in Dreamweaver and have a site for the HTML5 version configuration you can only 'find '. Because your glossary is very long number is perhaps not big enough to scroll properly.

• Is there a bug with the maintenance of interaction of the Glossary for the entire project?

  I've seen in other posts (Cp6) that there is a known bug with the maintenance of interaction available in a project glossary.

  Maybe my problem can help further this question - or maybe someone can post tips on how to solve this problem.

  I use a trial version of the Cp7 and followed the advice in this tutorial: http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=wTEF-56V1Z4

  I found that if I left 'Visible output' box unchecked for the button closure (as in the tutorial), I don't see the glossary at all.

  Similarly for the button I created for the glossary - I couldn't have hidden or I don't see it.

  Another problem: the close button in the glossary (which is grouped in the interaction) in a first time appeared with the glossary, but then decided to appear on following slides without it (but in the same location).

  Everyone has been able to follow the advice on the above tutorial link successfully and is there another tutorial I can watch or read about it? I really want to provide access to the glossary on multiple slides and during quizzes. (And Yes, I'll buy a license - although the number of bugs I encounter creeps upward!)

  Hello

  Unchecking 'visible output' means the Group glossary will be invisible in the output until it is made visible by an action. In this case, the action that make visible is assigned to the Glossary button.

  Make sure that:

  • Glossary button, button Exit and the Widget are defined "Rest of project" accordion Timing.
  • EXIT button is set to Place object on top in the accordion of Timing.

  Please follow the procedure for the import of glossary below.

  1. you create the correct attributes when we create the Resouce Type for the Role of application.for example attribute

  2 schema file name must be

  shortname_glossary. RBX

  3. the example schema

  * # @iam: namespace = shortName "LIFECAD" = "LIFECAD."
  attributeName, attributeValueValue, definition, owner, endPointName, highPrivileged

  and the name for the schema -LIFECAD_glossary.rbx

  and endPointName, attributeName, attributeValueValue are mandatory fields

• Close Glossary button displayed in Flash but not HTML5... when SCORMED

  Hi all

  Using Captivate v 6.1... I did a quick demo glossary which can be hidden when the user clicks the close button and opened when the user clicks on the button of the glossary. This works fine in the preview in browser (F12) and the project Preview F4. However, when you transfer to a SCORM, Flash version plays very well, but disappears close button of the HTML5 version... I can click on the place where he is and the functionality is great, but I don't see the button. I tried the Smartshape buttons and button image. Would not be a big deal, but about half of users access via mobile (IE i - Pad). I can send the file source if necessary. Thank you very much!

  Thank you very much for answering. Yes, your answer works absolutely, but it's a bit ironic... most people go for a button close somewhere at the top of the opening 'widget '. However, it gave me an idea I'll transfer to another question. Thank you.

• RH10 > WebHelp > Table of contents/Glossary/Search does not work in IE9 over HTTPS

  We have recently upgraded from RH8 RH10 and almost immediately met (seems to be) an old question.

  Use Adobe TCS 4.0, we create our content in FrameMaker 11, then link to Robohelp. After you generate Webhelp, we tested the output from a local computer. Everything worked as expected.

  Then we checked the files in Microsoft TFS and hosted the Webhelp on an HTTPS server. However, when we tested the output using Internet Explorer 9 and 23 of Chrome, we found that:

  1. Table of contents does not appear.
  2. Glossary (which we renamed acronyms) does not appear.
  3. Research does not (from the quick search or tab "Search" bar).
  4. SWFs (since Adobe Captivate) inserted in the subjects not appearing or play.

  We do not have a clue, but I guess that would not have worked either. I have attached the screenshots you can see the problem:

  

  Adobe previously released a fix for the file whutils.js RH8 and RH9, used to be hosted here: https://Acrobat.com/#d=WqbdTq-2R79ToU08-zfBEw (link now broken). I guess it's a similar problem with a similar fix. I will file a bug report, but I wanted to see if the community had any quick fix since we are on time.

  So after the commitment of our development team, we have solved the problem at the moment.

  We had two new variables with our process for this version:

  1. For the first time using TCS4 (prev 2.5)
  2. First check files in directly to Microsoft TFS using the Control Source of Visual Studio (previously zipped WebHelp, posted to SharePoint, sent the link to the developers).

  It turns out that the second variable is the culprit here. HR is off the hook for now. For unknown reasons, Visual Studio has been excluding logging files (without notice). Once we performed an additional step (click with the right button on the Visual Studio directory > add items), he picked up the missing files and everything worked as expected in the staging / QA environment.

  The missing file was WebHelp > resource > resource_.xml.js.

  Next step on our end is to test the integrated HR > TFS Source control. (We have no thought) we did not have enough time to test the published WebHelp directly to TFS using the plugin HR 10 - don't know if it would make a difference or not. We will test correctly between releases and see if it works or not.

  Very, very strange but that Visual Studio behave like that on such a simple, every day version control procedure. My dev team is baffled - and these guys are good enough to make it a real rarity.

  Output PDF is great and the speed of the savings is ideal even for large documents. Is there a real advantage

  280 pages and consists of four sections, with Appendix, glossary, index and table of contents.

  Output HTML seems to be as bad a I remembered 6 years when I used Webworks Publisher to

  perform the conversion. RoboHelp is a good alternative I organized an assessment from next week

  so have not had the chance to look at this yet, but would be interested in what people think.

  In FrameMaker documents, you can navigate to something that will become a link in a PDF document to its source, with a "hyperclick" on the page entries table of contents and indexes in the generated files and references or hyperlinks not generated documents. A hyperclick is Ctrl + Alt + click. There is no click back. You can lock the FrameMaker documents to make these active links with a single click and use the dos commands and others on the Navigation menu that appears when a locked document is active.

  To lock or unlock a document for the type of hypertext navigation and release these keys in order: F Escape (must be uppercase) l (lowercase ' el' not important 'eye' or number one) k (must be lowercase). I remember as "(F) Island (l) oc (k).»

  Google search for words like 'Lock of FrameMaker for hypertext Documents' and "FrameMaker navigation Menu" without the quotes, for more information on these techniques.

  Also, you can use the dialog box insert reference allows to browse some sort of plan file, by selecting a paragraph format such as a cap, on the left and scroll through these paragraphs on the right. Page numbers, you can see the list below indicate the first and last page of the paragraphs in the list above. It's a little inaccurate, but useful.

  You can also generate table of contents or index or list of external cross-references (special > list of > references > external cross references), and then close window of the file generated to fit in the workspace to the sides of the active document. Hyperclick in the generated files, or lock files and a simple click on an entry, to navigate to the location linked in any other file is advanced to.

• Destroyed the Hotspot Wizard glossary formatting

  Hello world! I'm still pretty new in the world of Robohelp 7, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question:

  I've set up a test project for myself, using the * css and * htt files developed by the company, I started working. My predecessor has left the company, so I'm stuck with teach myself (and do a lot of trial and error).

  Now, we get to my problem:

  The map style and formatting works very well. However, after I used the wizard of Hotspot glossary, even with different settings/options, the style sheet is gone and I get completely different fonts and styles of title.

  My current workaround is to simply close Robohelp, copy and paste the * css and * htt files from another project and replace the ones that I have in the current project. This means that I have to avoid using the wizard of Hotspot.

  Now, as far as I've seen the term has never been used in any project, so it seems that I never have to. But I'm still curious - can someone explain why this is happening and why the Assistant Hotspot destroyed my stylesheet? Or is this a bug any?

  If I need to go on test discs or you need more information - no problem, I have a good time to do it before my first real project begins!

  I know how to link pages to get the look I want thanks to the help of all, but another question. With key words, we would like that the link points to the glossary. It doesn't have to link to the word (although that would be pretty cool) just the glossary on the right and the home page.

  My suggestion:
  Using the Hotspot Assistant in the pod of glossary, connect the words subjects and these words (listed in the glossary) are displayed as hyperlinks in the output. You can click on the words to see their definition developed text.

• Question of cloning for SSD upgrade on 12 Macbook Pro

  Previously, I did an upgrade to SSD on my Macbook Air to 2012 according to the instructions of JetDrive transcend. Basically connection via USB 3 and using Mac OS X to clear (and format) disc utilities new SSD, then restore again SSD and then remove the original 128 GB SSD and insert the new 480 GB SSD.  For about a month and so far without problem.

  Now I'm trying to 2012 Macbook upgrade my Pro partner (on 10.11.6).  I got a Crucial SSD MX300 to replace his HARD drive.  Crucial comes with (or recommend) Acronis software.  And a lot of the messages of the forum recommend Carbon Copy Clone.

  My question is if I can use the same method for the cloning of the HD as my Macbook Air (just restore disk of Mac OS X utilities)?  This time, I'm upgrading HARD drive and I don't know if something is different.  At the same time, if I got lucky the first time, I don't not ruin Macbook Pro my spouse this time.

  Yes, you can use disk utility to clone your MBP wives, but unlike CCC, it will not clone the recovery and Partition.

• Question about resolution movie downloads

  If I buy a movie at a certain resolution (780p for example), but I want more later re - download at a higher or lower resolution (SD or 1080 p), can I do so and how?

  Same question perhaps for music. Some of my songs have been bought before the latest Apple codecs.

  Once you have made a purchase on the iTunes store, you will see your purchased items in the menu under accounts bar > bought. You can simply select the item purchased and re-upload.

  With regard to the resolution of the film for films that are offered, and you select the resolution, you can download it again and select a different resolution. For movies that are available as separate download to SD, 780, or 1080 points, you would be limited to the original resolution you selected.
