  by "keys do not respond" do you mean that nothing happens when you press ctrl + alt + del? Windows that sometimes when you set up a new account. Maybe he didn't do prior to service pack 3. If you leave it alone for a while, he should complete and never show again

  AHA! The disc is indeed the problem - gives blue screen simply check index, despite the fact that the disk was giving all appearances to work properly as a repository of lots of large files!

  LEDs 3 and 4 indicate a memory failure, so buy a module indicates you have found wrong. You should try with only two modules in slots 1 and 2.

• A very green Question: which office for Premiere Pro

  Hi guys,.

  First of all, please go easy; I'm as green as they come. I'm looking into buying a new office for several functions, which will be video editing. I have read many suggestions on generations and systems (8gigs ram, say no to RAID 0, different graphics cards)- and most things are going over my head, so I thought out and just ask the experts on a desktop of mark.

  My current platform: I use Adobe first Pro CS4 and Photoshop on (wait for it) an old Dell Latitude D830. I am actually very happy with what did this laptop, but I'm looking for something that will take less than 20-30 minutes to render 2 minutes of video (although it never had problems running Photoshop).

  My uses: I would highlight will use the Office for Photoshop (print advertising/label of models) and Premiere Pro (5 ~ 10 minutes Youtube videos and the 45 minute DVD casual) as well as word processing and other offices of related things.

  I'm trying to keep the cost down - best around (or under) the mark of $1000 and I don't necessarily need to be on the cutting edge, as long as I can enjoy the features of Premiere Pro and make a video in less than ten years.

  I've been watching Dell desktop computers (because mine has served me well over the years). I was recommended by one of their representatives, focus on XPS 8300. I also watched the 7100. I also read recommendations on different sites for the HP options.

  My Question: According to my use is the XPS 7100 a viable option, or that I face the 8300 (or even a workstation full blown as the T1100)? And if one of these works, am I better suited with the HP (h8z HPE-510 t/HPE) price comparison?

  I appreciate any advice you can give to point me in the right direction. I feel not comfortable to build my own system (I read that most of you recommend). I just want to be sure that I do not buy a desktop computer and find crashing on me, because he can't handle what I'm asking it to do. I think something is really going to be an improvement on what I use.

  I have a laptop Dell Latitude (about a year) running Win7, Service Pack 1. Never had a problem with it. However, something strange has happened lately I've ever seen on any computer.  As you know, on the lower right corner, I can click on "Show Desktop", and it should do so. I use it all the time.  However, a few days earlier, which ceased to operate. When I click on it nothing happens. To get there, so I have to minimize my screens. Once there, if I try to double-click on any of the icons, none of them does nothing. However, if I click on 'Computer', desktop appears on the left. And if I can open any document here. So I have a workaround. But what's happening here? Corrupt office? And if so, repairable?

  If the problem started all of a sudden, an excellent option to consider is to use the #1 on this page option.  It is also completely safe operation.  It only takes 2 minutes, don't touch your files and you can "Cancel" If you don't like the results, so this is by far one of the easier things, you can do first.

• Several questions of office

  This question could be posted somewhere, but I couldn't find it. We are running a 4.1 ccm (3) and 4.0 (5) of the system unit. We have a main office and two more small branches. The two branches use the ccm and unity of the main office via T1. This seems to work perfectly. The question I have is how can we change the time zone for both offices. They are in a different time zone and all their messages are an hour off the coast. The other question is can you put in place a directory with just the users Manager in a branch. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

  Time zones can be defined on a basis per subscriber in SA or you can use BulkEdit to change the time zones on groups of users if you wish. By default, everyone is put to use the time zone on the server of the unit itself.

  Yes, you can create a Directory Manager that contains only users of a particular public distribution or service class list. Go to the section managers in the SA directory, create a new Directory Manager, and then on the Search Options page select the limits - which is easier to do using a public distribution list - create a PDL for each of your branches for this purpose.

• Reference Dell E520 slow hard disk after upgrade Windows 7

  I recently updated my vista 32 bit to win 7 32 bit e520.  It seems that the drive light is constantly and when you check the performance monitor, the disc rotates 100% for several minutes at a time.  This translates into apps open very slowly, copying the files is slow, etc...

  I'm sure this is related to the SATA controller and its drivers.  I downloaded and installed later for this chipset but also downloaded the vista drivers... nothing works, nor seems to help.  Any suggestions?

  The core of this question was just a bad hard drive I think.  I ran a few tests on the system evaluation and the drive was only writing to approx.  .30 MB/sec... Yes, that's right, less than a MB... I went and bought a new hardrive and everything is good.  I guess the performance against the win7 update was just a coincedence...

  I wouldn't do this if I had to send the unit because it is not taken care of quite well, but the SSD are super light and easily fix it with two screws.

  Good, but this is not guaranteed. It takes the server processors does not mean that it will support server operating systems. The details have never wanted to be servers - workstations. There is a good chance that you can load a server operating system and have it work perfectly, but there is also a chance that some of the equipment is the only quality work station and don't have drivers that will work correctly.

  -What? Adapt? Work? 771 all fit, but not all of the 5300 X may work. See the data sheet above. 5300 X are supported, but not necessarily all of them. The data sheet says "up to" 1300 MHz and 2x4MB / 8MB, which means that if all processors X 5300 exceed these specifications, they may not work (unless the support has been added specifically through the BIOS update).

  Based on the recommended for Skyrim card, you will need to go with the HD 6790 or GTX 550 it.  However, your biggest problem is food that is only 350 watts.  For all these cards, a higher power is recommended by the manufacturer.  The HD 6790 is the best on the list with the GTX 550 Ti in 2nd.  I'll take the other two on your list because they would fall the recommended card, but they would always play the games.   I would recommend if you upgrade the power supply to go with a unit of minimum mark of 500 watts with the necessary connections.

  Skyrim recommended card: 1 GB RAM NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon 4890 or higher).  Old video card then the ones I showed would be comparable.

  If you choose not to change your diet, a GTS 450 or HD 6750 can work.  I don't see much interest to get a card of 2 GB to this level.  It's going to be better than GDDR3 memory GDDR5.

• Question on my Dell 530 s HDMI

  I have a 530 s Dell and am having a problem with my system & video cards this HDMI function. I have the latest BIOS installed [1.0.18] update. Everything is good, except when I try to use HDMI. I tried every way successfully use HDMI function. It works when a card is connected [DVI to HDMI and HDMI to DVI]. However, when you use a HDMI to HDMI cable, strangely, it has no HDMI signal. This happens with the new ATI HD5450 and cards NVIDIA GT620.

  I read about the problems with this version of the BIOS and HDMI. Apparently others have had problems with starting the system upward with the HDMI cable is connected. The fix suggested for this situation was to install [downgrade] to an earlier version of BIOS. However, there are problems in doing this, as the Dell system rejects the attempt to install a previous version. I tried to install the 1.0.1 update BIOS version without success, as my system rejected to install the update. Also, here, try to force the installation, I tried every way to install from the prompt without success.

  I am a novice at this stuff. Yet, want help to be able to properly use the video card with HDMI to HDMI. When you use the DVI to HDMI it works, Yes, but the audio is lost. Any ideas anyone?

  Thanks for the replies. Just a tip: I feel like a fool, I finally thought to it. The last thing I tried, last night was another HDMI cable. Those that I used was new and still in the package before I tried them. But they were "el cheap - os." Last resort, my friend brought over for me to try Monster HDMI cable. And it worked!
