Question of parts of KG-1061 wireless keyboard

Can you tell me if it is possible to get (don't laugh) reclining feet for this keyboard? It is not even a year and one of the legs is broken and I would use the sloped keyboard. A small thing, but makes it easier to type. Cordially Adrian.d

Hello adriand,.

Unfortunately this is not something that can only be bought by HP.

Your best bet is to see if you can find keyboards cheap on Ebay or Craigslist, maybe those so-called "broken" that you can be able to recover.

  • Problems with Win 7 Professional 64-bit Microsoft wireless keyboard

I've been successfully running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on my desk since last October.  So far, I had been using a Microsoft Wireless Comfort 1 keyboard. 0 and Microsoft optical mouse 2.0 with no issues whatsoever, another that he had got very old and shabby and all the letters had disappeared from the keyboard.  Then I myself treated then for a keyboard Microsoft wireless Comfort keyboard 5000 and 5000, the mouse, sold as a set.

I installed, downloaded the 64-bit drivers updated for Win 7, etc, etc.  The mouse worked perfectly, but the keyboard was nothing else into trouble.  It starts fine but then after about five or ten minutes of work, start some keys not typing and I have to wait a few seconds for him to fend and catch up.  He then sporadically to this.  Re-booting does not seem to make a big difference.  Exchanging the small dongle USB around various ports seems to have an effect slightly but not sustainable.  Remove and reinstall the drivers also seems to have an effect slightly but not sustainable.

I think that it's something in the config or the drivers between Win 7 and the keyboard, as I tried two of these keyboards and both do the same thing, so it's not a faulty keyboard.  I also switched out to another computer also running Win 7 Professional, 64-bit, and it comes up with that one as well.

In the end, I got back to the shabby old keyboard while the beautiful new sits on the plateau, that which is not exactly what was meant.  I tried to look through the diversity of the other questions people have had here with wireless keyboards and computers, but can not see responses that quite match my setup questions.  So, what to do next?

For possible interference, you can watch your router Wireless N +.  Wireless N can operate at 2.4 Ghz or 5 GHz.  Most of the brands end lower base 2.4 race, which is the same as the 5000 wireless set.  If your wireless network has the option of 5 Ghz, you might want to try it.  Also if you have a cordless phone that works at 2.4 it could cause problems.  I know not many people use wireless phones these days other than cell phones, but it could be a problem as well.

I have an Alesis v61 midi keyboard

they all sound the same in Logic Pro X, I can barely hear the sound of the piano, the pressure sensitivity is out of whack, I basically just plug and play midi keyboards and use software instruments without changing anything in Logic Pro X... why does my little Apple Wireless (bluetooth, remember) clearer keyboard better, more responsive and much stronger than any general midi keyboard? its embarrassing to say the least!

I have the volume to the maximum one time and even raised the gain on the software instrument "Piano Steinway tail" and still barely, I could hear a noise...

Please help me I have no other solution... IV ' e tasted its best thanks to a computer keyboard dang, how is this possible?

  • Questions about the standard wireless keyboard and mouse on a h8 - 1360 t.

    Hi again,

I have a h8 - 1360t with the standard wireless keyboard and mouse.

    1. where is information on the blue buttons 'connect' keyboard and mouse?

    2. the mouse has a power switch - do I really have to close each time, or is there a function of inactivity when the system is off?

3 lets say that I have two exact systems within 5 feet of each other. Will the two keyboards and mouse conflict?

    Looking forward to your answers.

    Thank you

    BJ

This document will show you how to sync mouse wireless and keyboard if they connect buttons.

You don't need to turn off the wireless mouse. If you have problems with the batteries run out frequently, it might be useful, but I've never needed to do.

Two different sets of wireless mice/keyboards are not usually a problem. If there is a conflict, go through the process of connection of each game.

  • Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 6000 v3 problems / questions

My keyboard has acted until recently, its fairly new, I got it in the mail about a week or 2 ago first of all, I noticed a problem when I tried to increase the volume for a youtube video with the buttons at the top of the keyboard, they did not work, as well as most of the buttons on the keyboard other than the keys themselves. However, they worked before. Then I noticed another problem, I like to play video games on my laptop with the same keyboard and it will sometimes lean down on 3 or 4 keys at the same time, it also did not work and instead of this, the first 2 keys I pressed on were those only sensitive. I don't know what to do, I'm not that great with computers and I just want my 90 dollar keyboard and the mouse works correctly. (The mouse works fine by the way) I want to fix this problem as soon as possible, because I use this keyboard to my work and it works well, and its comfortable and a good keyboard everywhere while he worked. Again, I'm not sure what I did, any help is very appreciated.

  • HP wireless keyboard from 2.4 GHz on the HP Pavilion Elite 083 Volume controls does not not in Windows 8

I have a HP 2.4 GHz wireless keyboard on a desktop HP Pavilion Elite 083 UK:

    Model KG-08510 rev 1.1

    Product #ABU KZ256AA number

    Part number 505143-031

.. Since the upgrade to Windows 8 Pro to Windows 7 Home Premium, I have problems with getting control of Volume +, - and disable keys on the keyboard to work reliably in Windows 8 Pro.

In summary, the symptom is that when I start the PC from a start-up to cold which is a full power down of the State of the volume on the keyboard controls do not work.

However, if I unplug and re - plug the USB wireless receiver that came the keyboard on the PC then on the keyboard volume controls begin to work again.

I tried the following things to try to solve this problem:

-Made a lot of new installation of Windows 8 i.e. reformatting the hard drive (no recovery) and fresh install Windows 8 on a blank hard drive.

-Installation of Microsoft Windows all the updates available for the machine.

-Manually install drivers wireless keyboard on the site of HP driver for my computer HP Pavilion Elite 083uk (this allows the screen display on to CapsLock and numlock which works reliably every time that I start).

-Disable 'fast start up' in Windows 8 power settings

-Using different USB ports on the back of the machine

This question is re-producable each time and the keyboard volume buttons work fine even from boot cold when I was running Windows 7.

I think that I have now found a solution / workaround to solve this case no matter who is interested.

    1. download and install the Microsoft "DevCon" tool that provides an interface to command line for Device Manager.

Download and installation instructions are here:

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/182.how-to-obtain-the-current-version-of-device-console-utility-DevCon-exe.aspx

    2. create a Windows scheduled task with "highest privileges" that works on logon that issues the following command:

    DevCon restart 'HID\VID_03F0 & PID_0862 & REV_0105 & MI_01 & Col02'

This restarts "HID-compliant consumer control device" that is listed in my device manager which is middle for the proper functioning of the volume control and mute buttons on the keyboard (keyboard functionality is via a separate driver which is not affected).

NB. you need to replace ""HID\VID_03F0 & PID_0862 & REV_0105 & MI_01 & Col02"with whatever hardware ID is listed in the device for that Manager.»

    3. If the above does not work, then you must create a scheduled task to run a batch file with the following:

    DevCon disable 'HID\VID_03F0 & PID_0862 & REV_0105 & MI_01 & Col02'

    DevCon enable 'HID\VID_03F0 & PID_0862 & REV_0105 & MI_01 & Col02'

  • Cannot switch the language layout with wireless keyboard

I do a sort of a media center for my mac mini. So far, everything is great, except for one very annoying thing. I bought this wireless keyboard and it's working great, although there is a problem with the layout language switch. When I change the input language - it is off, according to the change of language icon, if a text input is always in English. I'm quite confused and don't know if it's related to the keyboard itself or it's a question of OS (same behavior was on yosemite, before I've upgraded to el capitan)

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Are you talking about the little flag in the menu bar? This has nothing to do with the language itself, it has to do with keyboard layouts. Any reason you need to switch the layouts?

If you want to change the language of the menus and other system, then you must go to

System-> region and language preferences, then change the order of the languages.

You are not able to turn on the laptop?
HM looks like a laptop computer s hardware problem and maybe that is the reason why external Wlan keyboard don't invoice not the laptop is dead and so the keyboard do not work

Why the laptop does not power upward?
Hmmm. issue of goo. Perhaps the AC adapter is dead and can not provide the power of portable and laptop battery is dead too.
This is possible, but in most cases it s not the reason why in most cases, the motherboard could be defective

  • Default wireless keyboard fn key

I just got a new HP Omni-27 (Windows 7 64-bit) desktop that comes with a keyboard wireless KG-1162.  The problem is that the status of the function keys fn is reversed from what it should be.  For example, the f10 key reduces the brightness of the screen rather than send a f10 code to the application, and fn + f10 sends a code f10 instead of dimming display.  This makes the keyboard extremely frustrating when you try to use applications that make heavy use of function keys, such as MS Office products and developer IDEs.  Another example is the interactive games that require the use of the function keys, but you rarely have a free extra finger also hold down the fn key.  It is analogous to trying to use a keyboard that is not a caps lock key, but always acts as if shift caps lock was on.  Several keyboards that I use as part of a day, it's the only one who acts in this way.  I would really like to find a way to solve this problem, before you throw this keyboard and buy one that works as it should.  Here is what I tried and learned so far:

    • The references very little, I was able to find in a Google search, that is to suggest things that don't work, or suggest that it is a problem of provider.
    • A conversation with HP support did not help.
    • I checked that no HP wireless keyboard connected to a computer not HP laptop running Windows 7 is correctly.
    • I checked that a USB keyboard plugged into my PC works correctly.
    • My previous HP PC with another keyboard HP wireless Vista worked properly, while he lived.

My conclusion is that the problem is probably related to the driver for this particular model of wireless keyboard.  Can anyone help with a solution (other than to throw him out and use one that works correctly)?

[Updated to add more recent information from the keyboard manual].

The f1 through f11 keys do or multimedia keys, standard function keys. The default value is multimedia.

To switch multimedia on the standard function, press fn + esc keys simultaneously. This locks the standard function keys. To switch back to standard feature of multimedia press, the fn + esc keys simultaneously again.

Pressing the fn key at the same time with a f1 to the f11 key, performs the standard function.

Press fn + fx at startup of the system to use the function keys to access and use the features of the BIOS (for example, the boot or system recovery Menu).

If the keyboard and mouse do not respond, refer to the mouse and keyboard wireless information located with your other product troubleshooting documents.

For a better battery performance and mouse, avoid using your mouse on a dark or shiny surface and turn the mouse off the power when you do not use.

  • HP Pavilion g7-1365dx: wireless keyboard does not work.

I have a combination and connected mouse microsoft wireless keyboard to my laptop.  The mouse recently 'died' and replace the batteries with new Energizer batteries did not help.  I bought a new Logitech mouse and installed the new USB connector and the mouse worked flawlessly.  However, the wireless keyboard does not work now.  If I reinstall the 'old' or the original USB, the wireless keyboard connector works fine.  The new mouse does not work with the original USB connector.  So now I have two USB connectors that are connected to the computer to make the functional keyboard and mouse.  Is there a solution to eliminate one of the USB connectors?  I realize that the brand of the mouse and keyboard are different.  This is the problem and if so can it be fixed?

    Hi ECJ-10,

Well, you answered your question yourself. They are different products, so you need 2 USB receivers.

The alternative is to get a replacement of microsoft mouse if it is still under warranty, they usually do.

    Hope this helps.

  • No idea: sudden failure of several keys on the wireless keyboard

Hello, I use a wireless keyboard HP, M/N on the back said SK-2060, but this site does not recognize as a model number, so I'm not entirely sure what keyboard model number it is.

The keyboard has been working well for months, more than a year by this question, I think. Just this morning several key of all isn't on me at the same time, and they are all in the same area. O, 9, f7, and f8 keys are not admissible. I have read some things and thought it might be a driver problem, I uninstalled the drivers for my keyboard and the keyboard no longer works, I re-plugged my wireless adapter and it re-installed the drivers and the keyboard is working again. All the broken keys still don't work.

I don't think it's a hardware problem, none of the buttons seem as if something is stuck sub, or obstructed in any way. All of them worked very well last night, now they have suddenly stopped and they are all in the same general area of the keyboard.

I was wondering if someone could help understand me what went wrong, or how I might be able to fix it.

I have a new keyboard for the moment, but it is not as comfortable as the keyboard HP that I use, and I would be able to fix it if I could.
