Question of power AP

I think since we posted this discussion in in the wrong place, so I am once again posting this.

We have a customer who needs more of the AP wireless autonomous for three facilities.  What power adapters should I grow, absence of a POE switch?  I guess that part below number options all apply them-just need to know which ones can be used in the existing switch and those needing power located near the location of the AP?

  • Questions to power MacBook Pro 15 "

My MacBook Pro is getting pretty old (8 almost 9 years), and at that age, he has some weird problems. I already talked to Apple about this and they can't pin point the issue... all they know is that it is NOT a software problem. Basically, my computer has some weird and random hiccups

    Data sheet:

MacBook Pro (15 inch, late 2008)

    OS: El Capitan 10.11.4

Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    RAM: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

    Chart: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M 256 MB

Hard drive: 320 GB Toshiba HDD

    Questions:

    • Stops at Midway during the start unless constantly, you press a key on the keyboard
    • Request chance to stop, restart, sleep in the pop window crept up I pressed the power button and will stop if Cancel is not pressed within 5-10 seconds
    • Randomly goes to sleep and stop unless you immediately wake up
    • Stop when the lid is closed (insomnia will not fix it... list of things I've tried is planned)
    • Caps lock light does not work (possibly related)
    • The lighting is uneven in lighting (possibly related)
    • Reader superDrive cannot read, write or view the disks on the desktop (possibly related)

    Solutions, I tried (but not):

    • Reset the NVRAM
    • Replacing the HARD drive
    • Installation of insomnia
    • Reinstall OS X
    • Boot Safe Mode
    • Disk check and repair authorization

I have no idea what to do and I don't want to make a new MacBook. If any of you can help or tell me what the problem is it would be greatly appreciated. If worst comes to worst I'll bring to a local Apple certified repair shop and get it looked at. I don't get a new computer (if it is repairable and not as compensation of $500). I want to wait until the computer is 2 years late. And yes I know the MacBook will not be able to get MacOS Sierra 10.12.0 in the fall, I'm willing to wait for OS X 10.14.0 (2018) to get a new Mac.

    Please try resetting the SMC.

  • Satellite R830: Question about power for battery usage options

    Hello world

I recently bought a R830-182 (detailed configuration below).
I had to update Windows 7 Home Premium Ultimate because I need to use it on my university network.

My University gives us an upgrade to windows 7 ultimate edition, but I had to do a clean install (from inside Windows 7 Home Edition, copy the upgrade you can do).
The key, with what they gave me would not work with the Windows anytime upgrade utility.

I think that I have installed everything that I need to get the laptop to work, but I'm not sure of the configuration of the battery. The cooling fan seems to be always on, and when the battery reaches 100% charge that he also said that he is in charge.

    My questions are:
    1. is there another program I have to install to allow the computer manage settings of the battery?
    2. do I need to change some settings in the power options?
3 should. what settings I change in power options?

    Any help would be welcome
    Kind regards

  • Satellite 1400-503: question of power

    Hello

Yesterday, I turned on my labtop Toshiba Satellite 1400-503 model: PSI40E-03CSR-SW (on industry) but the screen was dead.
I removed the sector and put it on another taken decision-making and the screen turned on telling me the battery is low.

I removed the power and reconnected it. It worked.
Today, it's the same (dead screen) I removed the battery (always on the area), but nothing happened.

I replaced the battery it lit and the screen lit up for topic a minute, but then the screen died.

    Issues related to the:
-A labtop can always run on sector with a dead battery?
    - Or if the battery must be good to work on the sector?
-Can you remove the battery, and still works the labtop on food?

The computer is old about 6-7 years and the only time I use the battery is to be market even if I plug it into the sector.

    I hope someone can advise!

    Thank you

    Answers to your questions:

    1. Yes, a laptop can operate on sector, even with a "dead" battery

2 No, the battery doesn't have to be good, but it would be desirable to have a good state of market batt. installed.

    3. Yes, you can remove the battery and only work on sector. It makes no difference, but be careful when you remove the power to the machine. ;)

Simply by typing the reference battery in google, you can google for a new battery. The partnumber begins with "PA" and then a number.

  • I have the motherboard A780L3B have a question about power

I have the A780L3B and the guid of the quick instalation shows two power connectors pin 4 and PIN 24 my question is can I plug my sorce of power in two of them, or only the instalation guid doesn't even say just said what it is and doesn't say if I need to connect the two or just one

Do you have a disk with the motherboard?  In my view, that it is a card mother Biostar.  I have 3 Biostar mobos that came with the disc.  There may be a manual on the disc.  Normally, you connect the two connectors from the power supply.  I would of course ensure that the documentation well.

    Good luck.

  • Questions of Power Options

There are many Options of power that are difficult to understand.  I tried to find answers in the help, but there were many that I couldn't find.

    What is "slide show"?

What is "the USB selective suspend setting?

What is "PCI Express" and "Link State Power Management"?

What is "the Minimum processor state"?

    What is 'cooling system strategy?

What is "the Maximum processor state"?

What is 'Java script timer frequency?

    What is 'reserve battery level?

I have references for these or whatever the answers may be provided.

    Note - 04/03/13:

Here is the reference to the "other matter" I had on power options, as mentioned in one of the positions below:

  • Question about power lamp on my Satellite A60 - 302

    Hello
I know that this problem is not very important but I love my computer and I would like to ask...
Sometimes my computer seen orange power light. I know what is the meaining of it... when the computer load this lamp is seen like this... but sometimes is orange will suddenly not needed... and it never turn off unless I have pull corks... After doing this operations is charing again, but a few minutes later lamb out...
What is this prob. and what we do

    Hi Levent,

Regarding your power supply problem, I would recommend re-installing the utility of power management Toshiba since the Toshiba utility CD, (unless you use Microsoft Power settings of course. I then go into the utility of Toshiba power from the control panel and check that the power is as you want them to be.

Your ventilation issue is quite common (you can search this forum for similar positions), but in short, the cooling fans are blocked with dust and other debris over a period of time. You should clean this accumulation of CPU radiator by carefully removing the radiator under the laptop or by sucking debris with a household vacuum. Where the CPU is too hot the notebook our instantly down to avoid damage even if you notice a rapid increase in the speed of the fan before that happens.

  • Satellite L40 - 14N boot question without power cord

Had this problem for a while, any ideas please?

My Satellite L40 - 14N sometimes won't start when the power cord is not connected. It starts ok but when I get to the Windows screen drops colored that keep moving from left to right and the machine will not get one more no matter how much time is left.

This never seems to happen when the power cord is connected and is turned on, it starts very well.

    Hi starmonkey,

What power lead do you mean exactly? Do you mean the AC/DC adapter?

To be honest, I also don t know why this happens, but you use pre-installed OS from Toshiba?
You have installed a different display driver?

Maybe you should try to reinstall Windows in worst case it s a bad material work :(

  • Sat Pro 4280 - question of power

I have a power problem that sends me nuts. To start with electric light, LED left front, remained with the network disconnected lead but kept light battery flashes orange.
Accidentally short-circuited the power PIN on the back of the device, which stopped that from happening, but now the battery not power the laptop. Battery is still good, I tried in a unit of colleagues and it was beautiful. Laptop still works very well with food, but I would like to solve the problem of battery.
Someone at - it ideas on how to solve this problem. I looked for technical data on this but I still found nothing.
    Help, please!

    Hello

It is possible that the pins are now too short and there is no contact at all. Unfortunately, it is not easy to make any kind of diagnosis on this path and in my opinion, you should communicate with the technicians and explain the situation. I'm sure they can give you good advice.

If solve you the problem please let us know what was the solution.

  • Question of power

My printer is a color M175nw HP100. My problem is when the printer is idle for about an hour during the day, if I want to use it I have to restart and initialize the store of the printer. I work a day of 10 votes against 5 and I start my computers and printers and they run throughout the day. Why the M175nw cut to adfter an hour of not used? A card SD how to remedy this situation?

It seems that the device goes into sleep mode and does not not to get out.

There are a few settings and the things I would check in this case:

    * Make sure that the device is plugged into a direct socket instead of a surge protector to ensure the unit is to obtain a correct voltage.

    * Make sure the firmware is updated on the printer.

I would also like to check some settings in the Setup menu.  It is accessible by pressing the key and gear icon on the front panel of the printer.

    * Select the menu "System Setup."

    * Go to "power settings".

    * Check which is on Sleep Delay.  Try disabling this feature.

    * Check the Auto Power Down menu,

    * What is auto-off Delay on?  Try disabling this ever.

    * Make sure that all the of the event, the options are checked in the menu events Wake.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Satellite S1000-Z2: Question about power modules.

This book has been much until now.
its not used a lot, but just to use it the other day, plugged into the power supply and nothing.
the Green led is constantly press the ignition button and nothing happens I checked the voltage coming out of the diet that is 19v and that's what I mean. This sound like a new piece on the inside (power module) and if so any easy idea how would be for me to change and the cost?

    who is Jason

    Hello

Well, it's not easy to say what part has a malfunction. As far as I know that the motherboard has a delicate electronic power supply. You must be an expert to resolve this problem. I suggest you contact the service partner because they have more experience in these cases.
On the Toshiba site, you can find the right ASP.

  • SP4600 and Question Wifi power control.

Hi, I recently acquired this camera to replace an ageing sat4000. I did a new install of w98se (don't ask, will she be better fits a couple of programs I need to run...)

I did the last update of the BIOS, installed power saver Inc. utilities, but I have a request. HARD drive never seems to turn down. If I put a low time limit in the BIOS, it is up to 30 min when restarting. Setting a low time in PowerSaver has no effect either.

    Anyone?

Other than that, it's a great machine, very impressive. The only other problem is related to the network. The wifi card seems to be very slow to connect to my AP sometimes. At first startup, it connects right away, but if I restart the computer or log off for a reason any, he is sitting in the hunt for a connection for 10 minutes. He will find a signal of my neighbors AP faster...

    AP is a unit of 802.11/g D-Link, clocked at / b.

All the settings I can eventually check at both ends to fix this?

    Thank you all
    David Miller

    Hello

As much as I know windows power management must be on Toshiba power Saver saver if you want to use the tool of Toshiba. Please check this option.
In addition, in my opinion you must first of all closed WiFi connections if you want to restart the laptop. In addition, you can check the settings in the wireless LAN Client Manager. The options must be on the access point.

    Best regards

  • Question about power z820 requirements

The amount of energy consumed by the Z820 depends on the configuration and the system how busy is.  Lists of QuickSpecs HP believes some configurations and power on pages 21-24.  Certainly a double system of 12 core high range with a 225W graphics card will use a lot of power, so all hearts are run 100%.  This is why there is a power supply 1100W (sorry of course).

It will use as much as a toaster?  Maybe, if we're running SETI or folding programs 100% of the time with the use of the CPU to the maximum, including graphics GPU, but it is likely, if there is only 1 card graph.  The Z820 will usually take ~ 400W idling, but 800 + watts is possible under load.  It will heat the room.  But most applications use all the capabilities of the system all the time, unlike the toaster that attracts ~ 1100W all the time it is turned on.

There are monitors of inexpensive power, such as the P3 Kill A Watt meter charge which can show the use of the power.

Try to find out how the power outlets are distributed in your apartment.  There should be several points of sale from 15 to which are fastened together in a place that does not normally a quantity of objects running at any given time, or are not connected to the device.  Perhaps a bedroom?  In my house, the kitchen have the toaster, coffeemaker and refrigerator all plugged into them.  They go off the circuit breaker when all lights at the same time.  I moved one of these items to a struggling group that has no elements of high power connected.

  • Question of power adapter (T410 2537-DN1)

I have a thinkpad T410 (2537-DN1) and my original power supply is to see some wear and tear that I temporarily fixed with electrical tape. My card is currently a 60W/20V model. What I am asking is that I still have my old T60 adapter. It is a 90W/20V model. Can I safely use on my T410? My search found two yeses and no suggestions but nothing solid. ERGO, I thought I'd ask.

  • RAZR maxx. question of power button

Is it possible to not have to push the power button every time you want to lite to the top of your home screen?

I do not use the lock screen, so I use an application called "No Lock". I can push the power button, or either of the volume keys and it will bring up my screen. Also, it does what its name suggests and bypass the lock screen.

I don't know if this is something you are interested in, but allows you to turn on the screen without the power button. I hope this helps.

  • Taken HP dv2000 laptop computer abroad: questions about power converters

I will study abroad in Egypt for about four months. I decided to bring my laptop with me, but I am very concerned to plug. I guess I need a power converter, but I know that there are two different types. I don't know what kind to get, or if it's even safe to try at all. Does anyone have recommendations?

The power adapter supplied with the laptop is a universal power adapter supports voltages 100v to 240v input. Therefore, the only thing you would need to buy when you move to a different place is a power plug interface, which you could buy any electric store.
