Question of Quickbook
We currently have quickbooks, but there are problems with some of the classifications IE fixed assets have been classified as expenses. I need the proper accounts set up and re-ratings of these incorrect entries to make changes to the assets with the dead on appropriate assets - I would have to also instructions on how this was done so that we can do this internal in the future.
I think you need to refer to the site Web/support quickbooks for that matter. This forum is for Microsoft Windows RT.

HP 6500 quickbooks ck does not print but plain paper is ok

There are things you can try in this case. I assume that you are using a Windows PC, is this correct?
If so, then open the printers or printers and faxes for older versions of Windows and devices page.
- Right-click on the printer
- Select the printer properties
- At the top of the general tab: change the name of the long name just HP 6500 printer and click on apply
I've seen some strange problems with Quickbooks in the past when a printer name is too long. Can not solve the problem, it is a good step in a first time for questions of Quickbooks.
So, I saw people having some success in defining quality in project mode, when you attempt to print checks from this software suite. Print in draft mode can disable paper sensors that generate paper mismatch error. The check is printed if you set the draft mode?

I just installed the HP officejet pro 8600 device. I can print when on the line, but when I go to my quickbooks and try printing the bills he try fax and do not print. I'm at my wits end!
If it prints very well everywhere else is a questions of quickbooks with the default printer. Go to file > printer setup to specify the printer you want QuickBooks to use (make sure that it is not the version that says 'Fax' at the end). Depending on what year of Quickbooks you have, you may need to do this for each type of form that you print. QuickBooks deals these regardless of the settings that set you in Windows. If you change default printers in the future, you need to go back through the configuration of the printer.

It is a wrong answer to the question. QuickBooks 2010 cannot be installed from the CD because the CD tries to install Flash and Flash is already built into Windows 8. The solution is to download QuickBooks from Intuit web site and install the downloaded version. It installs without problem and works very well. Question multi-user QuickBooks Pro 2007 with Windows 7 64 bit
Running Windows 7 Home Premium. I meet a "error-6147, 0 is not a Quickbooks data file or there is a problem with the file" when you try to open a company file hosted on a 32-bit Vista computer. This only happens if the company file is open about hosting computrt. If the Windows 7-based computer opens the file of company first of all, there is no error... and then the host computer can open the file without problem. Hoping someone here has an idea... QB support came in white.

Why pay does not work in quickbooks online version 26?
Since I updated to version 26 I can't use pay in the online version of Quickbooks. Everything else QuickBooks works always. Can I access payroll using google (chrome) or IE, but not Firefox. Get an error message when I try to use it. Here is a copy of the error message:

You see the notification icons in the Firefox address bar? To the left of the padlock, look for a shield, or any other type of icon and if you find one, click on it to see if Firefox has an objection to the page.
You can try the site Firefox Safe Mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

Help > restart with disabled modules
In the dialog box, click on 'Start mode safe' (not Reset)

Printer suddenly stopped working with QuickBooks Premier 2012
HP Officejet 4500 G510n-z has worked for years with my QuickBooks programs. Now, for about two months, I have not been able to print invoices using this printer. I think it's a QuickBooks question - but how do you know? I am able to print other things to the printer from other programs. But the printer has always been a little weird and gave me a hard time. You have any problems with this printer and QuickBooks? (PS - my invoices are printing just find on my old HP Laserjet 1018)
I completely uninstalled my printer again and reinstalled. I installed it via wireless connections and USB. He now works again; so I'm not going to run updates on it and see how it works in the future. Thank you all for your quick response.

Touch screen compatibility Quickbooks POS Point of sale system
Our company has two HP Touchsmart 610 computers. The touch screen of the device of the workstation works fine, however, it will not work on the server. It is only with the Intuit (Quickbooks) POS Point of sale program 10.0.
There must be a way to recover it, if anyone has had this problem, or know how or what to download to make it compatible. Perhaps, I deleted something at some point - No. CLUE! Thank you.

XP - cannot install updates after the upgrade to Quickbooks 2010
I am running XP Professional. Since the upgrade to Quickbooks 2010, I can not install three MS updates, and can I update Adobe Reader version 8 to version 9. The MS updates remaining in my queue are:
1 Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and the .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update for versions of .NET 2.0 to 3.5 (KB951847)
2 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP3 (KB955706)
3 update for .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and 3.5 SP1 on the Windows 2003 and Windows XP x 86 service provider (KB983583).
It has been several weeks now and today my TrendMicro PC-Cillin Internet Security 14 security check revealed that I have for very high Security - Bulletins-MS10-056 and MS10-060
What can I do to fix these problems

Cannot download pictures from my camera or my backup quickbooks.
I have recently switched to Verizon internet provider. All my usb drivers have been updated, but since the passage of the AT & T to Verizon and reconnect my system I have not been able to download pictures from my camera or my Quickbooks backup. · You are able to access the data of the camera?
· What is G:\ drive?

Issue weird policies Windows w/Quickbooks
It started all of a sudden. The use of Quickbooks 2009 if I find, preview or print anything that has a sign "$" I see rather a ' Z$ '. I copied my data file to another PC and it is fine. I uninstalled Qbooks and remove any substance left on the drive hard or in the registry before reinstalling it and the problem persists. I uninstalled and updated the video driver and the printer drivers. Intuit sayd, it must be a problem of fonts in Windows. Any suggestions? I saw no sign of trouble anywhere else.

Send a file PDF from Quickbooks using microsoft exchange server 2003
Since we got our MS exchange server, I had trouble sending pay stubs created in Quickbooks and sent via Outlook. Some people have an attachment, some get it as a file windat.txt and others get no attachment at all. Seems that most of the people with outlook express receive nothing. Gmail and hotmal download the pdf file.
