HP 6500 quickbooks ck does not print but plain paper is ok

My 6500 worked properly and had printed one of the two controls when he stopped a given error code paper mismatch.  I checked the configuration and everything seemed OK. He even printed the correct audit on paper, but whenever I inserted the controls, he gave the same shift code and does not print. This are not the new controls and after the update to quickbook pro 2013 all printed fine for a week.

Hey jcort,

There are things you can try in this case.  I assume that you are using a Windows PC, is this correct?

If so, then open the printers or printers and faxes for older versions of Windows and devices page.

  • Right-click on the printer
  • Select the printer properties
  • At the top of the general tab: change the name of the long name just HP 6500 printer and click on apply

I've seen some strange problems with Quickbooks in the past when a printer name is too long.  Can not solve the problem, it is a good step in a first time for questions of Quickbooks.

So, I saw people having some success in defining quality in project mode, when you attempt to print checks from this software suite.  Print in draft mode can disable paper sensors that generate paper mismatch error.  The check is printed if you set the draft mode?

  • Photosmart 7510 - will not print black on any parameter of photo paper (does not print on plain paper setting)?

HP Potosmart 7510, printing from a memory card.  Using premium photo paper (glossy), set printer to print on HP Premium Plus Photo), printing out with Black/Brown areas in the blue-green instead of black.  Printing using plain paper, set printer on regular paper, just fine.    Same thing happens when I tried Advanced Photo and a Photo paper - print comes out with a blue-greenish cast in areas that should be black/brown.

Tried to print a black and white photo - identical to all other attempts - if the choice of the photo options paper, the dark areas are blue/green.

Comment - then try printing from the computer (wireless), produced the same result - black areas are printed in blue-greenish.

Tried cleaning the cartridges, alignment printer, print quality status report looks very good.

Door on this forum and general web search.  Nothing has yet solved problem.

What should I do?  Any ideas/suggestions?

Yes, this is the case on a 7510.  I worked on the answer.  Although "ink" diagnostice demonstrates both the black and the cartridges 'photo black' as being low, the 'black photo' was apparently empty.  The black of the photo must be called only because when the print properties are defined for the "photo paper", and when it is empty the black dark areas print in blue-green.  I thought that the black photo cartridge was a gray, for most thin shades grey, but maybe it's an intensifier of some sort.  It's a shame that HP does publish no real information.

  • HP Officejet 6500 E709A AiO does not print web pages

My HP Officejet 6500 E709A AiO printer does not print, or even to get anything in the queue when you try to print from a web site.  We have a HP Windows 7 Home Prime Minister?  We have relocated our printer and nothing new happened.

Went to Windows 7 Forum #7 dated 01/08/09. We were told to remove the 32-bit IE8 version, when we initially installed Windows 7, but it is necessary to print from the web. Go to C: program file (x 86), Internet Explorer, then iexplore. I made a copy of the shortcut icon and installed on the desktop computer for I can use it when I want to interface with the web and be able to print from the web. Hallelujah!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620 does not print, but the document is sent to the printer without error

I bought a HP Officejet Pro 8620 and connect 2 computers via a wireless connection with the latest driver.
In the first computer (windows 7) I can print without any problem
On the second one (windows 8), when I try to print, I can see in the windows printer spooler file that I'm going to print. The file is sent to the printer, without error, BUT nothing happens.
I already tried reinstalling the drivers, restart the computer, the printer. I tried to connect to a wired network. It still does not. It's very weird but I got no error, just does not print. I thought that the printer does not work, but on the second computer I can print.

  • HP Deskjet 812c - CMY new cartridge (HP 23) - yellow does not print (but it is)

Yes, I know... it is a dinasour printer but it has been a workhorse for me since I bought it when it first came out (1998!). I use it often, but she remained loyal.  Judged non HP cartridges, but they are not as good, so PLOPPED down the money for a cartridge HP 23 CMY legitimate again.  Expiration date: December 2013.

I can see the streaks of ink for all 3 colors on the head of nozzle/so that means there are in there, and all the rest print - C M and K, but not of Y. I tried some old cartridges that I forgot to recycle in the hope that I could get some of them out of one of them though but weak , but that no longer works.

I also tried to print from more than one program and Windows 7 generic print test page in the case where there are a few color program setting somewhere that was the cause.  Banned, same result overall. I swab clean the nozzle/head, lined up, even began.  Always without Y.

I wonder itf it's a question of management of system colors, although if there are streaks on copper head of the 23 HP where it meets the surface of the paper, it seems to be working, just do not hit the paper.  Electric prods on the printer which meets the back of the eye of the cartridge clean too.

Maybe it's a cosmic hint to get a new printer, but I live on a fixed income from social security and every penny counts. I paid too just for a new cartridge.

    Suggestions, hosted solutions.
    Thank you.

  • OfficeJet 4360: Hp officejet 4360 does not print but all the test prints come out perfect

All of the test pages come out perfectly, but when I try to print a document, it will pull the paper through and seem as if it will print but the page comes out blank. Then, in a software, I for planning, when I try to print, it will print the form without the personal information that I entered into the form. Any suggestions as to what can happen and how to fix it?

You have been correct is the question.  I'm actually the 4632.  All the test pages are out happening without any problem.  I did all the checks, including levels of ink... actually, what was the first thing I did.  Well, when nothing else was not working, I decided to install a new black ink cartridge.  That was the problem.  As simple as that.  Thank you for your willingness to help.

    Hello joefredt.

Thanks for the information. I want you to add a printer Deskjet 990c. Please open "devices and printers". Once that opens click on add a printer in the dialog box. Now click on "add a local printer. When it says "use an existing port", the drop-down box and search for the USB0001. Select it and click "next".  Please click the button of "Windows Update". • Document does not print, but directly goes thru and then I get the message in paper.

Hello everyone, I recently bought a HP Deskjet 3511 e-all-in-one printer and after initial installation I it used once to print and it worked perfectly.

I went to print a document today and put in operation the printer, went in the document folder and opens the document that I wanted to print and when I pressed the "print" button, the already loaded book spits 2 pages print watch then showed the "out of paper" message when it is not paper.

I powered market, unplugged, reloaded diagnosis paper, I tried and I have the same problem.

What could happen that it will not show the paper as load and print correctly, thank you for your answers.

I tried the solutions... ended up sending back. as I had warranty... Buy a new... and already have my refund...

  • Printing network pauses for 10-15 seconds. Finally it does not print, but it is getting worse.

    This never used to happen.

I stopped the service spooler print, then rebooted and rebooted and the problem persists.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    Let me ask you;

    1. This happens especially with any program?
    2. You did it no particular change in the computer before the show?
    3. What is the make and model of the computer and the printer?

We will try these steps and check.

Step 1: Open the printer Troubleshooter

Open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button , and then click Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under hardware and sound, click use a printer.

Step 2: The issue can also be caused by outdated or corrupted printer drivers. So, I suggest you install the latest drivers and check.

    1. Open devices and Printers , click on the Start button , then, in the Start menu, click devices and Printers.
    2. Right-click the printer that you want to update, and then click printer Properties.

    3. Click the Advanced tab.

    4. Click new driver, and then follow the instructions in the Add printer driver Wizard.

You too, try to install the latest driver of printer from the manufacturer's website.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows. Also, answering the above questions, we will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.
