• Satellite Pro L10: Question about saving the files on a CD

  Please can someone tell me how I can save a typed document (produced in Word or similar) on the CD? I don't have a floppy drive on my satellite pro L10 portable. Have 'saved' music using the immediate recording before, but now need to record your actual work on the hard disk for transport to a pc with access to a printer.

  When I tried it told me incorrect function, contact administrator (that's me!) I tried CD - R and CD - RW discs and neither would not let me save the file on it. would be grateful for any advice regarding this.

  Hi Roy,

  First of all, you will ned to ensure that you have enabled logging on oprical drive you. For this a right-click on the CD-ROM in my computer icon and then selecting "properties-> recording. Make sure that "Enable CD writing on this drive" is checked.

  Once you have done the above, you can simply drag the documents that you want to copy on the CD-ROM icon in my computer.

  Note that the burning process does not happen immediately. Windows caches the files to be placed on your hard drive first and then you can burn all documents cached only once.

  Alternatively, you may find that some third-party software has been bundled with your portable computer, which performs a similar function the standard Windows CD burn software.

• My computer is stuck in power saving mode

  Hello. I need your help guys. My computer won't come out of power saving mode. I was chatting with someone on MSN and light of my computer went from blue to orange and my screen went black and I got the message "power save mode, press any key or move the mouse to leave". I pressed all the keys and moved the mouse, but it wouldn't leave the power saving mode. I unplugged my computer and I even changed around the RAM cards. I took the CMOS battery and tried. Nothing has worked. I also took my videos and my graphics driver cables. Still, he doesn't after that I put everything in place [except the drums]. Recently, I put the battery back in and it still doesn't work. I dusted off my gear inside my computer and cleaned the fans. • Saving images in Lightroom.

  Hi, I'm new to Lightroom and I have a question about saving the photos... Is it possible to record the original photo as well as edited? I would like them both but I don't know how to save them both... in LIghtroom, it seems just to edit the image and then the original disappeared...

  Lightroom is a parametric Editor. This means that, instead of physically changing the pixels of the image, all the changes you make are stored as directives of the catalogue which is a database. As a result, the original image never gets changed by Lightroom. It is good because you don't have an original master image to worry. If you want different versions of this image, you can create virtual copies. A virtual copy is just another set of instructions in the database that reference the same original image. If you want copies, you must use the export function. In General, I usually just handle my original images. And when I want to send the image to someone else I export a JPEG copy for this purpose. Once this done, I consider that sustainable JPEG images and generally don't keep.

  I had an iphone 6s + since February and recently went to connect it to itunes to backup and transfer music to phone, but when I plug it, the phone and the PC makes a sound, itunes opens, but the phone does not appear in itunes. The dialog box on the phone displays the box Trust/no trust, I press trust, and nothing happens. The phone also does not appear in the Explorer. The phone displays as "load."

  I tried all the settings in the phone, as well as the PC (deleted some folder in itunes that says try another article), it does not work, see the folder also again after the reboot. I am at a loss, like doing a factory reset is a little off question having saved not the phone again.

  We bought a laptop (dv7-6c95dx) HP earlier this year and setup an admin account us planes used for loging about 6 months with a password that is not difficult to forget. Windows 7, 64-bit

  Yesterday, we bought a printer HP (HP 7510) and the installation of all the s/o from the installation disc it activated the HP Simplepass asking to slide my finger on the biometric scanner which I was not aware that there was on our laptop. I spent my finger, thinking that it was the part of the installation process of the printer because it was linked to the accessory e-print/web access and he recorded my fingerprint.

  The next morning, we cannot open a session with our password and can only connect with my finger. I tried to disable the biometric device via the control panel where he asks the administrator account password. and for some reason, this password is not being accepted as in the case of initial commissioning. What I find frustrating, is that I could read a fingerprint in without the s/w check the admin password, but I can't remove the fingerprint without the password. I believe that HP Simplepass corrupt our admin password because I was able to make withity connection before installing the past Simple HP s/w.

  How to solve this?

  The solution presented here requires that we can actually log on to the windows user account - we cannot - we are locked and there is only a single user installed.

  No question - I saved the user of the files using a live Linux CD and feformatted and reinstalled Windows 7 OS and avvoided install all applications on the HP irrational. Works very well so far.

  I also disabled the useless biometric device.

  I had a question about saving a text file. Now, I'm under native SDK BB10 code and I use C++ for the reading of the probe and try to save this data in a text file. Now the question is, I'm safe to "data / mytext.txt ', I had the sensor reading display on the console, and succeed in the open file. I just, I just couldn't find where is my file. • The Internet banking site will not save my computer?

  I recently got a new laptop which is running Windows 7.  It's my first experience of Windows 7 and I love it!  There are a few things that kind of upset me.  The purpose of this question is saved on my computer on a secure site.

  When I log onto my site to Internet banking for the first time since a computer, he asks me if it's a public computer (do not register) or a private computer (registry).  I always rely on private computer check.  Yet, whenever I return to the site it says it didn't recogize the computer and asks me to save it by answering a security question.  It's only annoying because it's an extra step, but I don't know why it won't save my selection.  My desktop runs Windows Vista and it works fine.  At work, we always run XP, and it works fine there as well.  Why I can't make it work on Windows 7?  It's just very strange to me.

  So it is clear it incase of issues, which it does from what I've read so far, I'm running Firefox 3.6.10

  Just back from vacation and downloaded the latest version of Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler 4.1.1 and looked at the Bug list.

  While I realize that this is a short list, and while I had the chance to check out some of the issues that I addressed in this forum for the last 4 months, is there a complete list addressed problems/bugs that I could look at?  Or, how do I know if my question has been addressed in this version?

  Also, when the questions are saved as a bug, could we, as members of the community, be aware of the number of bug for our own tracking purposes.

  Guys I need help with this, my work have a lot of pictures. a lot of time he had to make some adjustments in the public Service and when I save the image in Lr DNG with only 25 MB is transformed into a TIF or PSD with 100 MB without layers. IM never return to republish the photos in photoshop, so I just need a JPEG with quality and I do not know how to save the images in lightroom in JPEG. How can I do this conversion to save the picture on Lr in JPEG without I need to import JPEG format? If anyone knows how to save a TIF or PSD small can save my money in HDs too.

  The bit depth has no effect on the range of colors, which is determined by the color space setting. If your LR mounting is complete (Basic Panel settings, etc.), and you do not rely on the contribution of other changes in the PS file, there should be no question about saving the file in JPEG format.

  However, I would suggest the use of the preferences of External Editor of TIFF, 16-bit, ProPhoto RGB. Bit depth using the highest and wide range of colors to ensure that your changes in the PS will not compromised. If you do rely on the contribution of other changes to the file that it's perfectly OK to save the file in PS to JPEG format. According to the use of JPEG file, you first convert the PS file to sRGB for Web and screen viewing or Adobe RGB, for printing purposes. A quality setting of 10 PS will work very well because the file is not be edited more far. You will need to right click on the folder inside the LR and select "Synchronize folder" for the JPEG file to appear. The whole process is much simpler than it seems.
