• Cannot start the unit because the authorization service is not running - cannot start service

  I'm weirded out. When I try to start the unit on my VM, I get the following message:

  The Virtual Machine cannot be set to Unity mode because:
  -The VMWare authorization Service is not running.

  So, after a little checking, I realize that indeed, the authorization Service is not running on my host. I am trying to launch and get the following message (translated from the french, sorry):

  Windows cannot start the VMWare authorization on your local server. For more information, see Event Viewer. If this isn't a Microsoft service, contact your service provider indicating the service specific error code: 6000002.

  Event Viewer is a little more detailed... But not really useful:

  Unable to retrieve the token for the user to VMware: unknown error 1385 (0 x 569) (1385)

  NONE of these error messages to display more than a few visits on Google, especially not in exact search (with quotes around the exact phrase) mode. I'm at a loss as to what I can operate the unit.

  The only other thing I can think is a reinstallation of the vmx86 service. Rerun the batch previously posted like this, with the extreme detail;

  If this does not help I suggest you reinstall workstation completely from your own account. Don't forget to note your serial number if your IT Department has already given it you.

  BTW, it might be that your group policy to prevent something. Check with your IT, if others have the same problem.

  The unit test supports only the SQL types, no type of PL/SQL. There is no reference to it in the documentation.

• Question of unit of MEASUREMENT of density

  Need help with the unit of MEASURE in the specifications of the Formulation. This will display the value lb/gal in the column of the output popup details and ensure that the attribute specification of output density is saved with the correct value and the UOMs.

  We hope to make a preference of the user density UOMs in a future release. Please submit an enhancement request, so we can notify you when this feature is available.

  I actually found the question.  I was running the wizard to customize the DMG somehow instead of starting from the directory/applications.  Still not sure how I managed that one - perhaps not enough of coffee.  I noticed in the log after a few tries more and my post:

  Launch /Volumes/Adobe Customization Wizard/Acrobat DC.app / Customization Wizard...

  I hope my post can prevent someone else pulling the hair!

  I just installed CF11 on a windows server 2008 and had the same problem. I was able to solve it by adding http://127.0.0.1 to my local intranet sites list in internet options of the browser. I guess I could have changed the URL for localhost that oppose 127.0.0.1, but it worked for me. Hope this helps others.

  2. I'm blind. I use a screen reader on a new OS for the first time. I currently use NVDA, which is a screen reader Windows students. VoiceOver, can the same windows commands work with Voiceover or am I have to learn new commands?

  3. can I use Voiceover with voice TTS OSX like JR, the Dectalk access voice?

  I don't have a mac yet, but would appreciate some tips to get started so I can use them with my mac.

• Removed hard drive migration

  I have a question - can I use the Migration Wizard for a USB-Attached hard drive?

  Why I ask: the wife had a MacBook Pro who succumbs to a horrible death - I think that the MSC ultimately failed (he had more than 9 years).  I pulled the hard drive (because the computer does not even) and put it in a box 2.5 "USB.  She has a new MacBook Air that we want to migrate its photos, mail and iTunes library to.  If necessary, I will copy them by hand - but if there is a way to do this in the Migration Wizard I would use that - or rather IT will use that!

  Yes, you can use an external drive to migrate data using Migration Wizard. Just point to it!

  Alternatively, as you said, you can copy by hand.

• Satellite L40 breaks down after 5-10 minutes and will not return

  I have a toshiba Satellite L40. It has not been used for a while, but I need to have stuff on it.
  Put it on yesterday and then crashed after 10 minutes and would not go back
  .the same thing happened today.

  I took out the battery and tried just to power / and vice versa, but no joy.

  If I understand your question, the unit stopped automatically.

  If this is not the case then you cannot talk about overheating only because the temperature has risen to a higher level.

• Satellite L850 - 14L - problem of catalyst & Webcam update to Win 8

  I recently bought a Satellite L850 - 14L and installed windows 8 on it.

  During the installation of windows 8 computer announced there where many problems;

  -the catalyst control center was not compatible, so it does not work
  -the webcam cannot be installed (webcam works but with scratches and bad quality)

  After this I went to the site of toshiba and downloaded windows drivers 8 for this laptop also here the assistant driver told that there where several problems.

  I can't recal all of them, but certainly also the problem of catalyst and webcam appeared.

  Anyone have a solution I would like to fix without returning the laptop.

  In fact I don't know if the webcam worked correctly on win 7 because I installed windows 8 directly after the purchase of the laptop.
