  I had also recently installed the latest Intel graphics driver from the Intel website (version 8.15.10.2509) to address the issues of Optimus, I got with my system. I came across this thread:

  So I re-installed the latest Dell provided the version of the graphics driver Intel (r307994, version 8.15.10.2418). The installer told my that I was installing an older version of the driver, but I decided to do it anyway.

  The key fn brightness key is new Bebee! OK, so now that I got a satisfaction, does anyone have a hypothesis as to why this would happen? What is Dell? to the driver before they release it on their Web site also certify and wrap it up in their own setup package

  It boggles my mind...

  However, I have yet to know if Optimus is still stable after restoring back on the Intel graphics driver. I'm hoping that recently update driver Nvidia verde (295) was everything that I need all along...

  Dell reinstallation DVD of Windows 7, which came with the laptop, I made bootable USB (as my optical drive does not work) to reinstall windows, but after "window load files" screen when I click Reinstall windows bind it stucks there like forever. It just shows the message "Setup starts Windows. I waited for 4-5 hours, but it does not further. Someone please tell me what could be the reason for this.

  I have an operating system running windows 8 pro on dell inspiron 3521. When I bought the camera, the problem was not visible up to 1 year, and then I installed "Tuneup utilities" for a scan and then uninstalled. Since then, I found annoying problem on my pc.
  

  Relatek HD audio was working fine but then it started showing good results, but the sound from the speaker is not and or if plugged headphones as well. PC not dettect not any problem on the sound while troubleshooting. The sign of the speaker on the status bar when clicked and increases the volume of it increases the volume, but the sound and color do not here as well.
  It does a strange thing when I trouble shoot using the sound properties and click 'TEST' test is fine, but I can't hear any sound good! and again when I click TEST on speaker, it says "this device is used by another application. Please close... "
  However, the sound works fine without any problems for a while when I trouble shoot with 'Find and fix with device' or I restart the pc. But after a while this problem automatically. with this desktop right click question also annoyed me for the compliment can be! :( Help

  TuneUp utilities and similar programs usually don't serve to ruin a Windows Installer do it do more damage than good. Stories like yours are not uncommon with these programs. Back up all your data on an external hard drive. If you did a restore USB with your system can boot from to restore factory settings. If you have not done one, try using backup and restore Dell to make one. TuneUp utilities may have ruined the Dell backup feature and the recovery and partition recovery so I advise to call Dell technical support and request a DVD of resettlement or recovery USB just in case. I prefer the DVD because it can be copied to a USB key and has no preloaded software, allowing a cleaner installation. You can then try to restore the factory settings and if something goes wrong with the restoration use Dell support to clean install.

• Trying to retrieve GAMES on laptop from DELL with Windows XP home.

  My problem is the same as a few others in the gaming Forum.  Games on the DELL 600 M laptop computer was given to me by my son no longer has any of the games.  I had already tried 'add and remove windows components' in accordance with the instructions on the MICROSOFT site, but I don't have an XP or the restore DELL for this laptop CD, and he wants a CD.  I was not able to find a location on my laptop that has my xp installation files.  Is there a place where I can download all games once again? Or are somewhere different hidden installation files on a DELL laptop?

  One thing I did not to until that earlier. You said when you plugged your workstation directly on the blue link, he got an IP address and has worked well?   I just finished a "chat" with Dell technical support, and I got my answer:

  As I suspected, Dell licenses this software (possibly from Symantec) and Dell license does not allow to offer the software separately from the download of the factory. Therefore, if DataSafe Local Backup not shipped with your computer, you may not get it.

  The version of DataSafe Local Backup included with the download of the factory is fundamental; There are two additional versions: Pro and RAID1. Neither one is free, but you might be able to buy from Dell.
