Question on the preset values of rendering?

Hi-

I want to configure some parameters for the release of SpeedGrade, but I don't want to save my settings as a preset. Is it possible for me to change rendering parameters without having to create a new preset every time I want to change something?

Thank you

Noel

Hey Noel,.

You can edit the existing presets and replace its parameters by saving it with the same name of the preset.

For example, you have created a "H.264" preset and you want to change it:

-Select the "H.264" preset and click on 'other '.

-Update default settings

-Save format "H.264" and confirm to replace (if you choose another name preset it to create a new preset)

I hope this helps.

  • A question about the COLSEP VALUE ' |'

    Hello everyone,

    I have a question to direct the output of the query in a TXT file. At the beginning of my sql script file, I write
    SET TRIMSPOOL ON;
    SET COLSEP '|';
    This allows me to have the result of the query as a pipe delimited file. However, there are still several characters of space between the pipe and the columns, i.e., for example instead of having
    a1|b1|c1|d1
    a2|b2|c2|d2
    a3|b3|c2|d3
    Get the following:
    a1   |   b1   |   c1  |  d1
    a2   |   b2   |   c2  |  d2
    a3   |   b3   |   c2  |  d3
    As long as you open the file with Excel, this is not really a problem, but the problem is that my TXT file is read directly by a Korn shell script and these unwanted spaces cause problem. Is it possible to get rid of them?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards

    Hello

    Instead:

    SELECT       empno
    ,       ename
    ,       comm
    ,       sal
    FROM       scott.emp
    ;

    do something like this:

    SELECT       empno
    || '|' || ename
    || '|' || comm
    || '|' || sal          AS "EMPNO|ENAME|COMM|SAL"
    FROM       scott.emp
    ;

    Here's why:

    SQL * more output is designed for people to read. When you run the first query (with four separate columns) SQL * Plus aligns columns carefully to make it easy for you to read, like this:

    .    EMPNO|ENAME     |      COMM|       SAL
    ----------|----------|----------|----------
          7369|SMITH     |          |       800
          7499|ALLEN     |       300|      1600
          7521|WARD      |       500|      1250
          7566|JONES     |          |      2975
    ...

    All columns NUMBER take a fixed number of spaces on the output line (10 in this example, because I had the defect of NUMLARGEUR). SQL * over looked in the data dictionary, namely that the ename column was defined as VARCHAR2 (10), so it has allowed 10 characters for the ename. There are some things you can do in SQL (like TO_CHAR and SUBSTR) which will have an impact on the minimum number of characters needed to display, but SQL * Plus will be key always the columns to a fixed length, so that the next column align carefully.
    It would be so good if SQL * Plus had a SET command to change this behavior, but it doesn't.
    TRIMSPOOL removes only white space at the end of a line; It has nothing to do with a space before the last visible character.

    The workaround is to cram everything into a gigantic VARCHAR2 column. The | operator implicitly converts one of the operands to strings (if they are not already strings), but you can explicitly call TO_CHAR into the format in some way.
    The output of the second query above will be:

    EMPNO|ENAME|COMM|SAL
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    7369|SMITH||800
    7499|ALLEN|300|1600
    7521|WARD|500|1250
    7566|JONES||2975
    ...

    Given that the game only includes a column, it does not matter what is COLSEP; you might as well leave the default value.

  • Question about the return value of tpacall

    In an application, tpacall() is called. But its return value is always 64 and tperrno is always 0. Furthermore, tpsterror (tperrno) has no content.

    Example code:

    char * buf;
    int len;

    buf = (char *) tpalloc ("X_OCTET", NULL, sendlen);
    Memset (buf, 0, 1000);
    Len = sprintf (buf, "abc");
    RET = tpacall ("SERVICENAME", buf, len, TPNOTRAN);
    If (ret! = 0) {}
    log_error ('tpacall failed ret = [%d] ", ret);
    log_error ("tpacall SERVICENAME = [%d]-[%s]", tperrno, tpstrerror (tperrno));
    TPFREE (BUF);
    Returns - 1;
    }

    Could someone there explain to me? Thx a lot.

    The only error return value of tpacall() is - 1. Any other return value indicates a success and is a call handle that can then be passed to tpgetrply(). (The only exception is when the TPNOREPLY indicator is used, in which case the return value on success is 0 instead of a descriptor of appeal.)

  • Question of tool Presets

    I'm trying to understand how to manage custom tools in Photoshop CC 2015 (latest version).

    Background: I got three .tpl files for a lynda.com course "Photoshop CS6 News: brushes."  Let's call them, X.tpl, Y.tpl and Z.tpl.  In the preset manager, I put the Preset Type = tools, then charged each of the files .tpl using the button load.  As each loaded file, the preset in the Preset Manager list grew. The list is in alphabetical order, while it was impossible to say what predefined have been newly added to each pressure on the Load button.

    Here's my question: in the preset manager and the tools Panel preset, the flyout does not display the predefined custom tools that I just loaded.  In other words, it does not display a X, Y and Z.  It shows only the predefined default settings.  If I want to delete one of the custom tool presets I just added (say those of X.tpl), the only way I can see to do is restore the default settings (drop-down menu-> reset the predefined tools).  But then I lose ALL the presets of X.tpl, Y.tpl and Z.tpl.

    Here's my question: How can I determine which tool presets comes from a given file (say X.tpl), and how to manage these presets independently of the presets added from a different file (say Y.tpl)?

    Because I couldn't find a way to make the inside of Photoshop, I looked in the Windows file system for where Photoshop can have stored tools built-in, thinking I could simply remove them.  But there are no files with the extension .tpl anywhere in [drive]: \Users\ [user] \AppData.  Clearly, Photoshop is hiding in a magical place.  Is it possible to manage the presets in this way?

    Problem solved.  I had put the .tpl files in the wrong directory.   After I moved into the correct directory...

    [drive]: \Users\ [Username] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015\Presets\Tools

    ... and restarted Photoshop, I now see X, Y and Z menu drop down preset tools.

  • By default the selected value SelectManyListBox

    JDev 11.1.1.6.0

    I have a requirement to display default values selected in selectManyListBox.

    Like, there are two lists:

    public list < SelectItem > getList() {}
    list = new ArrayList < SelectItem > ();
    List.Add (new SelectItem("1","HDFC"));
    List.Add (new SelectItem("3","ICICI"));
    List.Add (new SelectItem("4","Citi"));
    List.Add (new SelectItem("14","SBI"));
    List.Add (new SelectItem("33","Others"));
    back list;
    }

    public list < SelectItem > getSelectedList() {}

    selectedList = new ArrayList < SelectItem > ();

    selectedList.add (new SelectItem("3","ICICI"));

    selectedList.add (new SelectItem("4","Citi"));

    Return selectedList;

    }

    When the page loads, I want to than selectedList default values and the remaining values (not selected) available for selection list.

    Hello Sahar,

    What is the scope of your beans?

    You need link for your selectManyChoice component value to a list of selectItem in your beans. Then, at the bean of the constructor, you can add the values you need to the list. Thus, when the page first loads, it creates an instance of your beans and in the constructor, the list is populated with the preset values.

    Hello:

    The work of doesn´t special keys on left hand. I mean, the keys under the power on button which usually starts the web browser and works with the DVD.

    Another question. The value-added package that was installed on my laptop has got a call from the Toshiba Fash utility maps. When I upgraded to the latest version (previosly I had to uninstall it) this SW is not installed. How can I get it back?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Value added contains several applications:
    -Toshiba components pilot common
    -Toshiba Utilities
    -Toshiba PC Diagnostic tool
    -Toshiba Power Saver
    -Toshiba Button support
    -Toshiba zooming utility
    -Toshiba Flash cards

    So as you can see, the button support is included in this package. I don't know what the problem is on your laptop, but when the VAP is installed correctly the multimedia buttons and Flash cards should work correctly.

    Try again please remove VAP system, restart the computer and install the latest version available. This latest version works well on the different laptop models (on my Satellite P200D too) and it should work on your too.

  • A question on the preferences of the "presets".

    In the presets preferences there is a button for "default specific to a camera series don't" what does this and I should check it? Thanks in advance.

    JDL

    If you have multiple cameras and have created unique to each default settings, this setting will allow the default values be linked specifically to a single camera. I do not use this option, but I use the right below, make the first ISO camera-specific default values. This allows me to create a "Preset" with an amount of specific noise reduction and it automatically applied according to the ISO setting.

    Hello

    Oracle version: Enterprise Edition Release 12.1.0.1.0 - 64 bit

    I have a question about the localTimeStamp function. According to the documentation for this function is
    the same thing as current_TimeStamp except that the returned value does not include the time zone.

    Consider the following example:

    SQL > create table tmptab (colval timestamp with time zone not null);

    Table created.

    SQL > insert into tmptab (colval) values (localTimeStamp);

    1 line of creation.

    SQL > select t1.colval, tmptab from t1;

    COLVAL

    Could someone kindly tell me what I misunderstood?

    Then, when you do

    create table t (neck DATE);

    Insert into t (to_date ('1st January 2014', ' mon-dd-yyyy "");)

    Are you surprised that it works? After all a DATE column contains a time component, you do not provide: but he

    works and gives you 00:00:00 as the component "hour".

    Similarly, the timezone component is being developed to automatically with, I think, time zone of your system.

  • Apply same Preset to the queue of multiple rendering

    Hello

    I m try to apply the same preset to several elements of the render queue Panel.

    What happening is: I select multiple items rendering of the Media Encoder's render queue Panel, and then select a preset and drag and drop this preset to change all elements of rendering (hopefully). But no...

    With drag and drop even though I have a multiple selection the pre-defined sliding going up to make element. If I select the name of the element but the output name, is the same thing.

    If I do my multiple selection and double-click the name of the preset it adds the parameter preset all the choice, but it is no substitute for each other...  (so I had 2 outputs this when not only wanting a single)

    Hope my explanation makes sense.

    Sound this nonexistent feature on Media Encoder or am I doing something wrong?

    Replace an output via drag & drop doesn't work out, you drag the preconfiguration, regardless of your current selection.  Also, if you apply a preset with multiple outputs selected it always adds a new output, as you said.

    However, if you have several outputs selected and choose another preset in the Preset menu in the queue of waiting, all the outputs are both changed that sounds like the desired behavior.  You won't see presets to the current format in the contextual menu preset that you may need to pass the Format popup first to see the desired preset.

    I like the idea of replacing the multiple outputs via drag & drop even if, for that, I'll add a feature request.

  • Exam question-value of the point and unanswered questions about the VCP4 exam?

    Hello

    I have a few questions about the scoring to secure Channel 4 review system:

    1. All the questions on the exam are weighted the same?

    2. Is there a penalty for unanswered questions?  In other words, is it better to not answer a question, if you are sure that you do not know the answer, or take a guess if it comes down to it?

    Thank you very much

    Bryan

    Not responding not to an element, it is the same thing that answer wrongly as far as scoring is concerned, so it makes sense to guess rather than leave the question unanswered.

    With respect to the weighting, all elements have the same weight in the VCP exam, but some items do not count against the overall score.  These "dosed" items continually change and are chosen at random.  We insert elements assayed to determine the validity of the element until it became a party has received from the real exam.  If however, you want to treat each item with an equal amount of importance.

  • Go through the question of the value

    I understand that in Java, all arguments are passed by value. There is no pass by reference. But there is something that still confuses me.

    public static void main(String[] args) {

              int array[] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5};

              modifyElement(array[3]);

                    modifyArray(array);

         }

    static void modifyElement(int element){
              element *= 2;
         }

    static void modifyArray(int array2[]){
              for(int i = 0; i < array2.length; i++){
                   array2[i] *= 2;
              }
         }

    The call
     modifyElement(array[3]);
    modifies the copy of table [3]. It does not change real table [3] because we pass by value. Am I wrong?

    Whereas, after the call
     modifyArray(array);
    the report initial array [] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} becomes array [] = {2, 4, 6, 8, 10}

    Why and how this is happening because it is only through the value of the arguments?

    Thanks in advance to everyone.

    Yes, here, is the appellant or appellant the main() method, and the method called is bar().

    -jv

    Thanks for the quick response, jverd. It's getting a bit messy in my head regarding the call of method, called method, copy of the etc object reference... The book I am a student of confuses me sometimes.

    I have to reread all the responses here (Finally, except for Jimmy) and I hope that I'd get all about Java through the concept of value.

    Thanks again for all the help.

    It's actually pretty simple. In the light of the foregoing, the main() method calls the method main() bar() is therefore the appellant or the method call and bar() is called or called the method. When it does, it passes two parameters by value - an int, a reference to a string. This means that when main() calls bar (x, y), it copies the value of the x bar x and copy the value of the sound bar x y to y. main () has a value of 123, so the value 123 is copied into the parameter bar() knows than x. y hand () has a value of reference-to-a-particular-String-object, so the value of this reference - essentially a way of locating this particular object of the string - is copied into the parameter knows that bar() y. There are now two variables x completely different and independent and two are totally different and independent. Changing the int value stored in a variable x (x = Gisèle ;) will not affect the other variable x. changes to the reference value stored in the variable of a y - that is to say change what String object it points to (y = Gisèle ;) will not affect the other variable y.))

    Thank you very much

    Jay,

    The text layer a movieClip is on its own layer and I just applied a percentage of alpha to the last movieClip on layer one. You can see my tween of a percentage alpha of 100 up to a percentage of 35 alpha.

    An excellent resource for the animation of the timeline is the book of Chris Georgenes... "How to cheat in Adobe Flash CS3". There is also a book for CS4.

    You can also do this same thing with ActionScript 2 and ActionScript 3. It is however a bit more of a subject in depth.

  • Process to question the default values?

    Greetings,

    I probably do not understand complex how to load an Apex page is, and I can try to make it simple. But, is it possible to have a PL/SQL process that runs prior to loading a page which all of my element sets default values on the page? I wonder if it could be "easier" set all values by default in one place rather than go in each element of the page, because many of the default values are array based and require a PL/SQL function. I think it might be easier to have all this code in one place.

    In addition, it requires a javascript, etc to do something like that?

    Thank you, Tony

    Sure - just create a process page header and call the api apex_utl.set_session_state.

    begin
      apex_util.set_session_state('P1_TEXT', 'XYZ');
      apex_util.set_session_state('P1_SELECT', '123');
    end;

    When I have complex shapes that have multiple child tables, I do exactly the thing myself to load the values from the page.
