  You cannot use the available space on the Flash DRIVE or flash memory card in your computer that is used for ReadyBoost.

  ReadyBoost to effectively speed up your computer, the flash drive or memory card should have at least 1 gigabyte (GB) of available space. If your drive or the card doesn't have enough available space for ReadyBoost, you'll see a message telling you to free space on this subject. For best results, use a Flash DRIVE or flash memory card with at least double the amount of available space as the amount of memory (live RAM) on your computer.

• Vista: The device can not start (error Code 10) for a USB CDC device which works fine in XP

  I have a USB device 2.0 DCC which works very well under all of our Windows XP machines, but not based on Vista.  The device uses the usbser.sys driver and emulation of the virtual Comm Port.

  The text of the listing shows the same information on Xp and Vista, except under vista it shows no open pipes.  Shows Device Manager: device can not start (error Code 10).

  Using Vista I can't connect to the vista of CDC through concentrators or device to any other device wireless hub except for a Dlink Wireless hub, which has a layer of software between the CDC device and the PC.  With Xp, it all works very well on more than one PC, with Vista, there are questions.  I use the INF manufacturer provided for Vista, still no results.

  Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

  I have built many sites using Muse, if I build a 'Phone' layout, transfer it with the layout "Desktop" or "Compressed", that the 'phone' comes back every time, little matter device used to access the site.   It is generally a good practice to provide 'Go to the site of office', 'Go to the tablet site' and 'Go to the site of phone' links when creating an Adaptive development site.

• Question of the NEX Time Lapse app with fashion bed and the rising of the Sun.

  NOTE: this problem was first mentioned by me in the other thread about the app of time works do not (a thread "solved").  Wanted to separate this issue in its own thread so I hope this is seen and worked on...

  NEW PROBLEM?  I starts with the NEX - 5R regular automatic mode 'Greens', start the application of time and run in mode 'Sunrise' .  I then begin firing sequence before the sun rises.  It takes about 40mins (I use all the parameters of "sunrise" by default) and when I check the results I see that the exhibition was "locked-in" with the first shot taken.  That means the video created in the device starts properly exposed, gets brighter as the Sun starts to come will then completely saturated white until I see clouds of beautiful Sunrise 'red '!

  What is the way in which the mode of "Sunrise" is supposed to work?  I'm doing something wrong?  I think that with the changes in the brightness of the scene, the camera would be re-meter each image taken on not to bleed the scene as the sun rises.

  Everyone knows this too?

  Moderator: you can report?  (BTW: the Sunset function does the opposite for me also: scene will just completely black too fast as the sun sets.)

  Causes of unknown devices in Device Manager

  • The device is not a device driver: when a device driver for a device is not available, Device Manager displays the device as unknown device , and places it in the other devices branch. It's very common with universal series (USB) bus and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) 1394 composite devices. Also, a status of error Code 1 or Error 10 Code may appear when you view the device properties in Device Manager.

  Safe Mode boot

  Restart the computer and start typing F8 key to display the logo of the manufacturer

  Select Safe Mode

  Start > right click on computer

  Select manage

  Select Device Manager

  If the unknown device is no longer listed in Device Manager, it is likely that the unknown device is not material.

  If you think that a particular program is the cause of the unknown device, check the startup on your computer folder to see what programs are configured to start when your computer starts.  The startup folder is located here: C:\users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

• Question about the Directory migration whole app.

  Hello everyone, we are upgrading 11.1.1.4 to 11.1.2.3 Essbase. As part of the migration as you know it is supposed to copy the app on the new server (target) directory. My question is the source server must be down when this app directory is get copied to the target server? On our dev server, the copy took 12 hours. So, we are looking for ways to cut down on production time. The essbase, staging of tool stops the server source essbase as part of the migration, then is one of the following steps to copy the app directory. Once the copy has been started can the essbase server to start (to reduce the downtime) while copying is in progress or is it a necessity that the source must be down. Thanks for your suggestions.

  I'd either reduce Essbase or have the apps in read only mode you don't want locks on files while trying to copy, you can also if you have a problem with the time he copies to your target could not do you it in two steps copy the local app directory to its current location which should be fast , and then copy the directory to the target, that way at least you can get Essbase if you can get some success on performance when copying files.

  Could you please check if the devices are discovered in your iTunes. If the devices are not detected in iTunes, then update iTunes to the latest version. I hope this will solve your problem.

  The windows folder installs an earlier version of the software, but it works with vista.

  I am new on the app Photos - aperture used briefly but never really liked. I used to manage/sort all my photos with simple folders on the hard drive. Now, I would like to move the direction of the Photos app.

  A few questions:

  1.) if I add images, are they duplicated on my hard drive when I import them from Photos?

  2.) how to delete images permanently? I need to do a cleanup, which is easier in the Photos. If I delete the images here (and also delete the "recently deleted" album), why they remain in their original on my hard drive folder?

  1 - Yes by default which is highly recommended, as was the case with iPhoto you then delete the photo source since it is safe in the library

  2 - pictures works just like iPhoto - nothing outside the library is not affected by what you do in the application - see 1
