  I use Windows 8.1, and I am using the desktop Panel. If I choose jpg is working allright, but if choose pdf, an error message shows up after a while, advising my to verify the network etc. The network works fine and I can print and scan in jpg format, but simply not in pdf format.

  A driver full features for Yosemite is not available for your printer, or from the CD supplied with your printer from the HP website.  This document applies to the HP printers supported in versions of Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.6 (Snow Leopard), 10.9 (Mavericks), and 10.10 (Yosemite) who have only drivers available via Apple Software Update.

  I can help you put the printer on your network wireless software. I use this method for iPads, iPhones and other devices that have no software.

  1. Restore default network settings on the printer by pressing the wireless button, by going to settings and then restore the default settings. The wireless button should then start flashing, this means that it is now in auto wireless mode.
  2. To connect to the network that broadcasts the printer. It is usually HP-setup-3050 has and then a part of the MAC address. Always wireless light will blink on the printer at this stage, which is normal since it is not a real ad-hoc connection.

  I am getting very frustrated and I hope someone can help.  Quite simply, my black ink stopped printing but it still showed as being almost full of ink.  Thought it might be a faulty cartridge so I bought another HP, so I know I have the correct ink, but it did the same thing.  I tried all tests, checks, cleanup options, I can find and it still does not print.  My printer is not that old, and I find it really frustrating not being able to use it now.

  Veo como some sub-carpetas por idioma in el CD, deduzco the instalacion decide automatically el idioma a use y, como no tiene el idioma Catalan, English use por defecto.

  I did get my printer wirelessly connect once I upgraded to Maverick. I tried without success to the following:

  1. Temporary connect the printer to your MAC using a USB key.
  2. Go to Applications > Hewlett-Packard > utility device and launch of the HP installation wizard.
  3. Select the device from the list and follow the instructions on the screen to configure the wireless connection.
  4. Once prompted, unplug the USB cable

  It does not either because the printer will not connect to the radio. At this point I don't know what else to do. All of the Apple software are updated.

  The only way that the printer works is if it is connected directly via the USB port.
