• Field question (long) list of the industry and the text

  1. I want to create a list of choices cascading by industry (secondary sector) list, but the list of industry isn't in the cascading drop-down list. Is this a limitation of the current list of industry? If it can be done, how?

  1. the long text field is displayed as the same size as the text field short. Is there a way to set the display to a bigger size? For example Can I updated the display height 4 to display this field as 4 times the normal size?
  2. at the bottom of the layout, 3 step wizard (Field Layout), there is a section called 'Long text fields. Is it possible to add additional fields to this section? Is it possible to have more of the memo and another field (for example, a larger text field) per page?

  There are some out of the box reports and dashboards that use a list of choice in the industry. If you plan to use a custom instead drop-down list, and this field is going to be the key, I recommend that it is a field lookup indexed.

• Standard upgrade to a non-genuine Windows XP?

  I did a repair on Win XP installation, used one of several legitimate Win XP Professional CD with one of my several XP license keys.
  It was after a physical reconstruction, the new disk, the new config.
  This version of windows has failed the genuine validation.
  I tried a lot of mods of regedit, different keys;  none worked.
  Support says Windows XP is not supported, in addition to advice would cost me $99 and I had to upgrade to a new version of Windows.

  Question:
  A standard upgrade of Windows will work on a non-genuine Windows XP in base?
  It seems that the 'Get Windows Genuine Online' kit is a clean install, I would rather not rebuild my applications and data.

  I use 8 Captivate. I have problems with the interaction of SCORM 1.2 question ID.

  I have 2 questions in the survey on the same blade. When it is reported to the LMS, these two issues appear. But they have the same interaction ID. For example:

  Not as far as I know, because each slide of questionnaire has only one identifier...

  You could create a custom Likert question, using standard objects and having an interactive object for each question. Each interactive 'object' can have its identifier. But a question slide is considered to be "one" object, not each response.

• Switch Standard virtual Teaming and Failover/Failback w / button batteries

  Small question about Standard virtual switches and nic teaming/failover.

  I have 4 phy cards network connected to a single vSS; two are defined as active adapters (vnic A & B) and two are defined as standby adpaters (vnic C & D). The first two active adapters are connected to a primary switch stack using an etherchannel cross-stack and the two other standby adapters are connected to a driving switch stand-by also using a cross-stack etherchannel. The primary and standby switch stacks are not connected to each other (in a stacking context) but are connected to the same physical network.

  Here's my question - if A nic fails, nic C or D will become active. Let's just for arguments sake adapeter C become active. So B and C card are now involved (for vmware). When C becomes active, the network see B and C adapter as a team even if they are spanning two batteries of different switch - this will create duplicate the network MACs? If Yes, what is the proper way to shift several cross-stack etherchannel teams?

  The physical switch batteries are Cisco Catalyst 3750 s.

  There may be special use cases where you have a high traffic going out to a lot of targets with different IP addresses. Personally I never used EtherChannel in ESX (i) environment to date.

  With the default strategy, VMware uses a turnstile mechanism, where virtual NETWORK card a VM is assigned to a physical connection when the virtual machine is running. It is usually sufficient to balance traffic. ESXi 4.1 and the appropriate license (required vDS), VMware has introduced a new policy of load after grouping , which can also interesting to look at.

  And, when using an etherchannel, why is-IP-HASH the technique only balancing?

• Number of numbers separated from practice quiz on "Number of Questions"

  I have a program that has a practice (4 questions) and a final quiz (25 questions). They have been developed both slides in question, but I would like to only the section final quiz score report. I put question 4 in the practice section to score 0 and unaware, but before the end of the final quiz, the total number of questions shows that 29 (25 + 4 quiz practices).

  I so create a false text box saying "many Questions: 25" to fool users, but I can't ask that even cheat solution to the "correct Questions. The number is not editable through JavaScript files in the SCORM package...

  A similar question was posted here a year ago with no solution to it. I wonder if something has changed since then and if anyone knows how to solve this problem.

  Here is a picture of my screen with the fake text box saying total issue is 25. The score is again properly (4 points each and with 24 correct on 25, gets the user 96 points). But the correct questions showed that 28 of the 29 (25 + 4).

  There is no way to change the system variables such as the number of questions. If you, like me, it would be really interesting to have such a control fill a feature request (did ask about it already myself).

  For now, the only solution I see and use myself, creates no-to-be-scored questions using standard and interactive objects and advanced actions (e.g. to show your comments). Because these issues do not have to be striped or reported, Quiz system variables will then contain the good values for the final Quiz created with Question slides. If you want to view results, the 'partition' slide may also be created with these objects and advanced actions.

  The thread, you said it, was also for CP4, nothing has changed since. And I'm sorry, but also in the soon that will be launched in the next version (CP5) there is no way to change the system of variable Quiz AFAIK.

• Mapping of metadata fields for the Lightroom import process

  Does anyone know what metadata fields using Adobe when playing jpg in a Windows (2000, XP, 7) environment? I tried many variations of the title, caption (subject), comments, and other areas. It seems that the areas are interdependent. If one is missing, then the same field may be used to fill two or more other areas. Adobe publishes a mapping or logical flow for the transfer of the metadata fields when importing? Yes, I understand that Microsoft broke all the standards known in this area, but I was using the "Windows Explorer" program for 20 years to fill the metadata fields in my image files. I'm now import a lifetime of photos in Lightroom for better management.

  There are two separable issues: how Lightroom reads fields of metadata from photos, and how Windows Explorer writes of metadata fields.  Unfortunately, I don't think that there is a single document that authoritative describing each question.  The industry has made a mess inherited metadata, and very few programs trying to do quality work.

  Lightroom has done a reasonable job to follow the industry standard, published by the metadata working group.  This standard unifies the three main mechanisms in which the metadata is stored in JPEG files and other file formats: EXIF, IPTC and XMP.    Many fields have defined slots in each of these three mechanisms.  For example, the capture time can be stored in EXIF:DateTimeOriginal, IPTC:DateCreated and IPTC:TimeCreated and XMP:DateCreated.  The MWG standard specifies how applications should read and write these multiple fields.

  For a couple of the most commonly used fields, LR uses its own names: "caption" (for EXIF:ImageDescription, IPTC:Caption - Abstract, XMP:Description); "capture date" (see above); "title" (IPTC:ObjectName, XMP:Title).  But for the rest of the fields, LR usually uses the same name as that defined in EXIF or IPTC - standards are the names displayed in the presets EXIF and IPTC in the Panel metadata, in the right column of the library.

  There is a dark corner where LR has made a mess: capture photos missing time (scans or digital photos very old).  Some parts of the LR will use the last modified time of the file, others the time to create the file (as defined by the Windows or Mac operating systems).  This gives very confused, inconsistent results that is easily corrected using the metadata > command change the Capture time.

  About Windows File Explorer, as Windows 7, Microsoft has done a better job than average according to the standards of the industry (a little better), it's a pretty low bar, especially considering that there are many standards to choose but file Explorer has a lot of quirks.  It's been a while since I looked at File Explorer in depth, but I remember that he (like virtually all other applications, including LR) uses names for fields that do not necessarily closely match the names assigned by the standards.  For example, "Title" of the file Explorer Gets the mapping to EXIF:ImageDescription, EXIF:Title, EXIF:Description and IPTC:Caption - abstract.

  If you really want to get your 20-years-worth of photos loaded properly in LR (and I think you do), then your best best is to download the free "exiftool" and learn how to use it.  This is the tool the more authority without exception to examine and manipulate metadata.  To see where fields, I use this command line:

  ExifTool - a g fichier.jpg

  I think that there are versions of Exiftool GUI, but in the past, they don't have to deal with the basic tool, and after a while, I found that they just in the way.

  Then with a little trial and error, you can see exactly where the fields that you have stored with the file Explorer and if LR is read correctly.

  I would like to ask about the following problem:

  As you can see in the video link that I provided, I change a sequence in After effects. This sequence is a part of a movie that will be distributed in the rooms, which means that it must be delivered in a DCP standard industry format.

  So I change color space of "None" to "DCDM XYZ" to see how it would appear in theatres (approximately).

  The change of image is great drama. Especially black people go crazy and, as usual, there's this Green tint. When I change "DCDM RGB", things are a little better.

  
  

  Note this: if I change color space of "None" to "DCDM XYZ" without any correction of color applied to the original film, the image remains identical to the original... no change.

  
  

  My question is:

  Should I color grade in the "DCDM XYZ" color space as it goes for the distribution and the correct color until I am happy with the image that I see in this particular color space, or it is not serious and even though I now see the colors and gamma screwed up, when projected to the movie screen , it is all appear as they should?

  A computer or TV screen can double the luminance. That's why the film look on your monitor different onpeut when she is watched in the cinema.

  Also, DAAC uses a completely different color than your computer or your TV space, then you can not compare exactly what she'll look like wheen played in theatres. So, I will recommend you to test it in theaters for accurate results.

  First of all. My experience of the Capacity Planner tool is old, then you want to dubble some offsets verify what I say.

For example if the average of 1000 SQL servers out there shows a specific behavior and your SQL Server performed way differently (uses a lot more resources), then you might want to consider why your implementation is so different. • Guest user does not return a value

  I have a user prompt dialog box which is a slightly modified version of questioning the standard user to enter VI express. I tried to change the VI so that it would allow the user to close the command prompt by pressing the enter/return key. The final objective is to have the popup dialog, the user will scan a bar code and barcode reader adds a carriage return, automatic closing of the dialog box character.

  I have followed this user lyrics: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-13973. The only difference between my code and the code it is that my user dialog box returns a string instead of a number. See below for my code.

  

  

  The problem that I am running is the string "Item number2" never really returns any value once it's called. The indicator on the front panel of the updated the express vi displays the correct value after you run, but the value is never returned to the VI, who called the dialog box. The express vi the value default value is successfully returned. The only change I made was the addition of the structure of the event, so I have to assume that my code does not go inside this node.

  Any thoughts are appreciated.
