  I have a table 1 d with 20 items... I now want to put all the 20 by 20 (variable) indicators different elements for further processing each indivually... Function table index is too tiny miny and ugly while creating this... any easier way?

• Slow table indexing when you use a subroutine

  I wrote a labview code that extracts a range of data to an analog waveform. (3 options - last value only, all values or a specific range)

  I'm buying what I consider of large amounts of data (analog samples at 1 MHz for 20 seconds).

  I'm proceessing in a loop of consumer data and found that the functions of indexation has slowed to a crawl (~ by seek 100mSec).

  The slowdown is a linear relationship to the size of the array.

  My debug analysis concluded that, if I change one of my subroutines of code inline, the speed problem disappeared.

  Why is - this?

  My best guess is that Labview takes a copy of the table to send by the Subvi.

  I'm not editing data in the subroutine, is it possible to say LABVIEW not to do?

  Attached are 2 versions of my VI, prompt a Subvi online (sorry for the mess) others (slow) use the code as a Subvi.

  Criterion VI to create a picture of increasing size and measure search for table indexing time and the computer graphic.

  You are quite correct.   What you might look into is recessing workmanship of your VI.  It depends on what you want to do with the final result.  Reentrant will solve this problem, but don't update the data on the front panel.

  There are two types of questions, the only choice of response and multi choice answers.
  
  My question is less than

  If you need to have answers in another table:

  Student (student_id, name, etc...)
  Review (exam_id, exam_name, etc...)
  Question (question_id, exam_id, question_text)

• How to import tables, index, tablespace, etc. of a DMP.

  I would like to know how to import tables, index, tablespace, etc. of an export an Oracle 10.2.0.1 to apply on an Oracle 11.2.0 DMP. When I import the DMP file a unique Tablespace, for example, will users tablespace data.
  
  On the basis of origin, we have different tablespace each separated with different content (tables, index) and I would like to know if it is posible to import the same schema, tables, index, tablespace quite with a DMP alone, Export. I can't use DBUA because the database on the 10.2 software is missing, I have only one file (24 GB) DMP DMP!.

  The standard solution is

  -Make sure that the target user doesn't have the UNLIMITED TABLESPACE privilege, using REVOKE
  -Make sure that the target user has no QUOTA on the default tablespace using ALTER USER... QUOTA
  -Make sure that there is quota on the tablespace (s) of the target, using ALTER USER... QUOTA
  -import indexes = n
  -empty the index orders in a separate file
  IMP indexfile =...
  -run this file

  Currently, all tables and indexes are stored in the ponit of NFS mounting. I would like to know if I can partition the tables/indexes on local storage temporarily.

  Yes you can do it. But if you have a few scores on NAS and others on the local drive, then depending on the nature of the query/DML you will see some performance issues.

  I'm relatively new to the AAU so please excuse my question if it's very basic.

  I want to rebuild the full index on the content. The problem is that I have 10% (approximately) 20 GB free out available 200 GB) of free space on the disk where content is stored and I fear that runs the full it will cause disk space be fully occupied until it completes successfully. I know that the index is stored in the tables in the DB (DB has enough space), but I wonder if she will write all the files in the folder content and reduce the free space by a drawing of lots, or even completely occupy?

  Also, can you please tell me how long would take indexing after as I start running it (approximately)? (I have about 40 GB of content)

  I'd be a little concerned about the amount of available disk space, depending on your current configuration.

  • If you are currently storing content in folders on the file system, it can not also be an issue from a perspective of indexing.
  • If you store content in the database however, content server will need to out the content on the file system in order to perform content indexing.  Having to write content on the disc is where you might have problems.

  How long will it take?  There is no formula regarding how long x amount of content will not.  It only depends on the types of files themselves and the complexity of the content in the documents being indexed.  40 GB of JPEG files will end very quickly, because these files have no text to index.  40 GB of several sheets workbooks Excel with thousands of lines and columns of numeric data may take some time.  The system must extract the textual components of each file, write the text that it finds in a txt by each content element file, and then the content of this txt file is passed to the search index.

  (1) IDX for dataseq is created locally so that it will be partition on each partition on the main table. Please tell me what is happening to the index on the column ID and salary... it will create again in local?

  Hello

  first of all, in reality 'a partition table' means create a new table a migration of existing data it (although, theoretically, you can use dbms_redefinition to partition an existing table - however, it's just doing the same thing behind the scenes). This means that you also get to decide what to do with the index - index will be local, who will be global (you can also reassess some of existing indexes and decide that they are not really necessary).

  Second of all, the choice of the partitioning key seems weird. Partitioning is a data management technique more that anything else, in order to be eligible, you must find a good partitioning key. A column recently added, named "data_seq" is not a good candidate. Can you give us more details about this column and why it was chosen as a partitioning key?

  I suspect that the person who proposed this partitioning scheme made a huge mistake. A non-partitioned table is much better in all aspects (including the ease of management and performance) that divided one wrongly.

  This isn't really an issue, but as I am just learning AS3 as best as I can, I thought I'd use understand you smart people to help me better things.

  I'm in book of Gary Rosenzweig (good info, but very difficult for me to grasp the logic and keep track of all the variables) and has recently created the "Deduction". It works, but I don't feel that everything has been explained as well as it could have been.

( I use the variable 'creation' because it's just practice?) Below, I start at 0, is assumed to be 1 less than the number and needs 1 added to the amount (a constant) numPegs i (++), until it is equal to i < numPegs...

  2 I vaguely remember the book mentioning that tables can create content ' on the go ' or 'dynamic' - for example, currentRow.push ({peg: newPeg, color: 0}); creates the 'peg' and 'color' attributes without needing a definition for them earlier in the script.

  Any help would be appreciated. Just realize that I'll probably ask a LOT more questions in the coming weeks. (I am creating a game of my own).

  The 'i' used in the loop is commonly used as a variable name for a loop counter.  In another life/language "n" used to be the most popular choice.  It may be named any unreserved name you like.  With the help of 'i' is short and sweet.

  Tables begin at an index of 0, which is why the 'I' start at 0.  numPegs dictates ankles how you want to create.  As I starts at 0, as soon as I is 1 less than numPegs, the work is done.

  Tables cannot create content dynamically.  They can store references to the dynamically created content, but cannot create this content.  The content had to be created elsewhere.

• Delay in a partitioned table index population

  We have a 3 TB database, which earns about 5 GB per day. Fat is partitioned by date (a partition for each day), as well as their local indexes. The population of data is made by IBM DataStage and assume that it uses a bulk loading. I have 2 questions:
  
  1. is the index updated immediately for cargo in bulk, or Oracle wait until the load has finished updating indexes on table?
  2. is there a way to tell Oracle to have an index for a table, but not for a partition of this table? What I want to do is fill partition today the table with data today, but be able to build the index for this partition at a later date. Deletion and re-creation of the index for the entire table are not an option.

  What you would normally do here is to load the data into a separate intermediate table, build indexes on this staging of the table, and then create a swap partition to load the data into the partitioned table. Exchange partition is a way to exchange very quickly a partition of a partitioned with a separate table and unpartitioned table. This happens almost instantly.

• A different function is created instead of the expected (table Index instead of initialize array) Labview - a 8.5

  Hey all,.

  I have a really strange behavior here. I'm using LabView 8.5. I open a white VI and try to use the function "initialize the array.

  No matter where and how I find (using search functions, or by accessing the 7.x-> table-> table initialize function), when I drag and drop it off at my VI, what I get is "Array Index" instead!

  Even when I hover over the icon table inside the palette is initialized, with aid switched on (Ctrl + H), what I see is the help page for table of Index. It's as if somehow the index table replaced function Initialize array entirely, with the exception of the simple icon in the palette...

  I tried to restart Labview and my computer nothing works.

  Someone at - he never experience a similar problem? that means, one different function other than for being created. I have attached a screenshot.

  My palette is screwed a bit isn't it? Most likely because the installation I chose a bunch of older versions in favor... and I regret it now.

  Funny enough, during the search in the functions that it only brings me version 7.x of functions of table etc... but I can manually find the standard in my palette, and of course, version 8.5 standard functions seem to work...

  I need to finally do an install of cean, but for now, it's all good!

• Delete the Simple question table

  OK, so I promise you, I'm not a fool, but I could be lying at the monment.  I have a table, an orgenized good demisional, I need the unique elements.  I wrote an admitted that it is a little messy method to do such a thing, but it works logically for me for the most part.  The table currently has 69 items, and at the present time, there are only two unique values.  I could just listed them but that would mean I have to roll updates whenever a new brand comes out.  So now, when I run my program it will remove about half of the table and decides that he doesn't have to obey logic more and keep the rest.   I compied the segment of code that is the problem and registered as a VI for your pursoual and I wired in a copy the avictive table so that you can see what I mean. The code works wonders for 35 early iterations of the loop, and then something goes wrong terriably.

  I would suggest just a much simpler way to do what you're trying to do.  Use of conditional indexation Tunnels.

  

• Labview Newbie question: Table of clusters

  2: this isn't homework or a project classified

  3: I'm a programmer capable enough, but it is in the textual languages. ;-)

  I have a sensor that contains 4 channels of power. I need to keep all 4 active channels, but I want to choose one of them to the chart at any given time. The data from the driver OR hardware comes in form of table of 2 elements 1 x 4 clusters.

  Normally, I had just index for the item in table 1 x 4 and feed on this cluster to the right graphic tool, but I'm missing something. I had a display of the sample driver NI of VI element, but anytime I insert blocks between the stream and the graphic I get errors "bad connection".

  I've been googling and book-research for several days now, nothing helps, I'd appreciate any help in this matter.

  Use the Index table funtion in the palette of Array.  Wire in the index number of the wave that you want to display.

  

• problem of quadrature table indexing

  Hello world. I work ona program to read the entry from the angle of a quadrature encoder. I get reads very well, but I try to export the data into a table of excel as well as to obtain the minimum and maximum angle read by the encoder. My program seems to just replace the original table instead of index value. the saved file is always just a value - the last value read by the program. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
