Question through blackBerry smartphones pins

Hello

My bb contacts list just disappeared without any warning. my friends called me to say I have a new

Profile pic (some African looking dude with a profile message saying 'the grand atlas') on phones there. they gave me profile axis but it was also a diff of the PIN on my phone I restored it to my backup but the same pic and the spindle appeared on phones out there yet. After re-, I've invited everyone, my original profile picture published. I fear that it could happen again so I hope someone can throw some light on this for me. phone. my service provider cannot help me, when I called.

Hello

Please be aware that this is a voluntary user-to-user support forum. No paid staff working these forums. Therefore, it is customary to wait 24 hours before striking a post... especially on (in North America) Sunday morning.

I don't have much advice for you except for contacting your carrier again and bring them to escalate your case. They can increase all at the bottom of the RIM if necessary. Something sounds really weird, but it will need IMO to be looked at from the back-end, which is not something that can be done through these forums.

Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Pin problems

Before explaining my problems I'd like say thanks to anyone reading this.

First off I bought an unlocked storm used outside the internet as it was so much cheaper just to buy it outright, thinking that I would use it on a gsm network. I had not done my homework at this time and looked at the history of phone because I didn't think it was relevant.

So I receeive the phone and it's unlocked, but my gsm provider tells me that they cannot activate the service internet blackberry device PIN ([personal information deleted]) is locked to another provider, as I need to contact them to get what he launched or the owner. I went to send an email to the seller, no response after 1 week so I called verizon here is the STORM is classified as stolen/lost and they will not leave the PIN.

I checked everywhere and without it beeing unblocked/out my storm is virtually only gd to place and receive calls at this stage. Does anyone know a workaround for this or an alternative solution.

    Thank you

    hrivet

    Hello!

drizzt09 is correct... you are out of luck... and lucky to get any service at all. Looking to contact the seller, and if they are reputable, they may resolve the situation. Only the registered owner of the BB on the prior carrier can release the ANKLE... no one else can. Unfortunately, because the camera is on the list and that they don't react, my guess is that they are not reputable and the stolen report is true. In this case, you are, unfortunately, no luck.

  • Question of blackBerry Smartphones

It's quite possible. Check the below knowledge base article.

Connect a computer to the Internet via an EDGE GPRS or UMTS BlackBerry smartphone as a captive mod...

But before you start using it as a modem attached, you must know how operator will charge you for the use of the data. There are carriers that do not allow or you may need to have separate internet data plan.

  • Question of blackBerry Smartphones on the old device PIN to a new transfer

    Hello
    I have a problem
I have a beautiful and unique phone number
But the device is too old it Bold 9000, and I want him to become a figure in the new device like the blackberry torch 9810

I want to solve this problem.

    Thank you

Huh, you want "him to become a figure in the new device"? What is of the him, your old PIN number?

If the "him" is your PIN, you should know that pine BlackBerry can be transferred from a device, they are unique identifiers that are hard coded to the unit at the factory.

  • Very stupid question of blackBerry Smartphones A

I'm sorry to bother you with what I am certain is a very stupid question.  I promise you that I am in fact quite irritable, but this very simple thing has running me around in circles for more than an hour now.  I went through all the videos of tech support that I can find and I can't find one online anywhere to solve what is surely a simple problem.

I bought a Curve 8310 this morning and is to sign up through Straight Talk.

Unfortunately, the #& * ^ @ thing won't let me accept the contract of Blackberry Solution license.  No matter what I do, it keeps taking me back to the agreement.  I tried:

    1. enter everything right.

2 prescription until "I agree" is in white (leaving "I do not accept" in blue)

3 space limitation until the "I agree" is blue (leaving "I do not accept" white)

4 space requirement until the two "I agree" and "I do not accept" are white.

In these four cases, when I lorsque je tape hit enter, it brings back me to the license agreement. There is no other options given.

It's obviously culture of the box, because I couldn't any changes made to the settings if I wanted to. How to proceed?

Try doing a battery pull. Let it reboot and see if the problem is still their. If the problem is still their after restarting, I think you should try to get a replacement.

  • Question of blackBerry Smartphones to access folders and files in MSN mail with regard

I'm new to the BB 8900 (received for father's day).  I had previously used a Palm Treo 780.  My mail is via MSN mail.

I found it very easy to put in place the BB work with my MSN mail.  I am able to send mail from my BB without problem.  The BB seems to question my MSN email account regularly and I get a new mail to my MSN e-mail account on my BB.

    However, I have a question/problem...

On my Palm Treo, I could see my MSN INBOX and all other MSN mail folders and their contents.  On the BB all the I seem to be able to access all new e-mail messages I receive.  If it is not important that I can access all files on e-mail MSN on my BB, I would like to be able to access the Inbox on the BB MSN e-mail.

    Is this possible?

    If so, how?

    Thank you

The files will not appear on the BlackBerry.

If you access MSN mail through the browser, of course.

  • Questions 2 blackBerry Smartphones

I have 2 questions. I received a notification from facebook and can't remove it how to do this? I can delete any emails, other facebook notifications just not this one.

question 2 what is a DNS error, I get this message from Pandora trying to open it

OK... first things to try... I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If that does not work, then do other using data-plan services work? E-mail? Web browsing? Facebook? Etc. ?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones PIN messages

Does anyone know the advantage to communicate directly using the PIN ID to other users?

I used the PIN code for troubleshooting, but it's not like direct connect IM.

Pine e-mail is faster than regular e-mail because it goes directly to the device instead of having to be questioned.  to use as a GI, have used you BB messenger, just to have the other user accepts your request for PIN code and it's fast and easy to use

  • Question of blackBerry Smartphones: 8120, wi - fi and free minutes?

My 8120 will automatically connect to my router at home and at work.  It is enabled for HotSpot on T-Mobile as well.  I hope someone can help with two questions:

    1. If a store has the HotSpot service, can I connect to it automatically free of charge ?

    2. If I am connected to a wi - fi network, are my calls "free minutes"?

    1. you automatically connect if it is an unsecured access point.

    2. Yes, all calls made through the WiFi are free with T-Mobile. This includes if your throw the call via WiFi and then move and switch automatically to the cellular network. Because the call from WiFi call everything is free minutes.

I assume that you have removed the battery and still do not see the option?

    Here's what I recommend:

Perform a full backup of your BlackBerry using the desktop software. Instructions are here:

Reset the unit to factory settings. Instructions are here:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB18998

When the unit starts back after reboot see if the option is available.

Restore your data from the backup file. Instructions are here:

  • Questions of blackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Curve

Hello everyone, I'm about to buy my first blackberry and I have a lot of questions.  I plan buy 2 different people the storm and curve.  I'll start with the curve since it is the one I will use.

    Is there a html browser?

I can google things and visit all the websites, I want? Like youtube, myspace, forums, hotmail?

Can I connect to my laptop and use it to access the internet when I'm somewhere that does not have internet for my laptop? If so, is it easy to do?   (Access to the Internet for my laptop is a breaker of a big deal for me at the time to decide which phone to buy.)

Can I access my account from outlook express from BB curve?

Does anyone have the curve and the keyboard is easy to type with.

The curve has 3G technology and what is anyway and why is it important or not important?

And what the heck is bluetooth? I honestly don't know what or how it works.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

    STG says:

Hello everyone, I'm about to buy my first blackberry and I have a lot of questions.  I plan buy 2 different people the storm and curve.  I'll start with the curve since it is the one I will use.

Is there a html browser? Yes. Out of the box if it has OS 4.2 on the device, not ideal for browser HTML, but yes,'s done it. The best full browser comes with the operating system upgrade to 4.5

I can google things and visit all the websites, I want? Like youtube, myspace, forums, hotmail?

Almost all. You'll need OS 4.5 on the curve for streaming video to youtube, go to 'm.youtube.com '. There is no flash drive on the BB, so Flash sites don't do so well. Mobile optimized sites, or sites WAP sites are even better.

Can I connect to my laptop and use it to access the internet when I'm somewhere that does not have internet for my laptop? If so, is it easy to do?   (Access to the Internet for my laptop is a breaker of a big deal for me at the time to decide which phone to buy.)

Yes, on most carriers you can "attach" your laptop for the BB as a modem. Some carriers charge extra for this service - for example ATT and Verizon do, Tmobile does not work.

Can I access my account from outlook express from BB curve?

Why? You must configure your e-mail in order to PUSH directly on the BlackBerry. That can only make sense to you, once you're running. You will not access your account Outlook Express on your PC, but rather the service Blackberry RIM will go to your email provider and 'recovery of email' and 'push' to your BlackBerry.

Does anyone have the curve and the keyboard is easy to type with. Millions of people have the curve. It is quite easy to type with. I used a wide. The keyboard is very nice.

The curve has 3G technology and what is anyway and why is it important or not important?

No, no 3G (although the 8330 on Verizon basically since their EVDO network is basically 3G.

The bold has 3G on AT & T's network, here in the United States.

And what the heck is bluetooth? I honestly don't know what or how it works.

Bluetooth is the technologo wireless for the transfer of short data, such as from the mobile device - to your headset, or an another BB or your PC, or your car http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FBlu...
