What has changed on my computer? I was able to create folders and can no more do this... I have Windows 7 with Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010... before uninstalling some software yesterday, I could create a new folder. now I can create is no longer a new folder.

How can I solve this problem?
    Thank you

    Hello Annette,.

It is a problem for a long time under Windows 7. To solve it I recommend that you only install the following program - FileMenu Tools. You can download the portable freeware from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-SOFTWARE/System/System-Enhancements/FileMenu-Tools-Portable.shtml .

After having downloaded and installed the program, you will notice that, by default, each option is checked. I would be much more selective on this subject, otherwise your context menu will be a full page long! When the main window opens, you will see a list on the right side of all the elements that can be added to the context menu. Start weeding through the list and every one to take away, you don't need the United Nationsby checking the box.

Once you have completed your selection (de-selections) make sure that you click the green check mark in the row of icons at the top of the left window of the interface to 'Apply' of your choice. The program can do much more, but that answers your specific question. I am told that the program has a good help file, so try here if you are interested.

Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

    Kind regards

  • How to create folders and move photos in the image library?

I just bought a new laptop and am new to windows 8. I downloaded approximately 300 pictures and they all saved in the library of photos in the same folder. I can't work out how to create separate folders or even how to move one of the photos. They appear only as a long line of scrolling which is a real pain. Is it possible to create folders and move the photos where I'm supposed to to store another app that sort of thing? Sorry if this question has been asked, but I couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Any help would be appreciated...

the classic Office Explorer/libraries to manage the folder structure.
create folders, to necessary, add to the library, if necessary.

  • How to make the fields of metadata required when creating folders

    Hi all...

Related issue with SR 3-6472229431 and 3-6471130611 SR.
We use SAY 11.1.6 64 - bits (2011_11_29 (rev 9756) 11.1.6.97) in a Workstation Windows 7 64-bit (with the AAU 11.1.1.5 in a Linux machine). Check-in of images at the Complutense University of MADRID's fine.
I'm doing some metadata fields required when creating a folder. These fields are required at check-in, but not in the creation of records.
    Folders_g is enabled. DesktopTag too.
    EDIT: The Patch: 14695303 - COE 11.1.1.5.0 BUNDLE (MLR 16) November 6, 2012 applied.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you for all.

After reading your response and re-reading the original question a bit closer, the function of metadata guidance does not apply to the creation of new files, only content.

Again, however, I think that the focus is in the wrong place. The metadata applied to a folder are intended to be applied to the content. You can create global rules that fire on submitting content to check if a field has a value and throws an error if the value is empty.

If you expect that users create folders (and apply effectively all the metadata in the file real itself), you will be disappointed. Experience shows that users are not interested in this level of detail when creating content, not to mention records. Leave typical users to create folders is a bad idea anyway, because they tend to create the same ineffective folder structures, they created previously in shares within Content Server.

If you need control over the attributes of the file, you will be better served by locking the ability to create new folders. Otherwise, you are looking at some kind of customization. Remember that you will not be able to customize the behavior of right click and SAY. Any changes to the SAID should be an enhancement request.

  • Stop TB of creating folders on the server

TB31.4 on W8.1 creates folders within TB & on the webmail server, and I couldn't stop it.

I uninstalled / reinstalled TB due to other problems, created a new profile and added IMAP settings. Once connected, TB creates a box of RECEPTION and sometimes UNWANTED, on the server subfolder. While TB does not work I can explore the ones contained in Windows Explorer (...\Data\profile\ImapMail\,mail.domain.com, \INBOX.sbd) and delete, as well as on my server, but whenever I open TB, they are recreated.

I also used the tool to subscribe and ensured that they were not, but it makes no difference.

The server is not their creation because they are not in the Web mail until I opened TB.

What can I try next? Is there a TB file with instructions on who should exist files I can delete or forced to "Refresh"?

I found a solution. There is an check box labeled Allow server to replace these namespaces (screen attached). It is the same dialog window that Matt suggested above.

After several changes of different settings I could refine it as a solution, otherwise seen as a difficulty.

    Thank you for everything!

  • You will need to create a question to create a connection.

Just need to create a question to create a connection. Mozilla may want to think about giving users the ability to create a connection without having to ask a question. Many of us are probably just a newspaper to answer to an existing message, as is my case today.

Problem is that this forum is getting spammed the latter time (especially with streams tv shows) if it was easier to get an account and post without making a question first then this forum may end eventually and see even more spam.

Most of the members perhaps not abreast of the spam unless they come to see him before a mod/admin has marked as spam and it is hidden.

    more easy no earlier.

  • How can I create folders with Applications folder

I have a brain injury, so I have memory problems and I would like to create folders in the Applications folder so I can consolidate all my apps in a single folder in photo editing Applications. It is roughly the same method, which can be done in windows in the Start Menu. If someone could tell me how I am able to achieve this goal, it would be greatly appreciated.

Open your application and choose the menu bar > new folder. You can then drag and drop them into this folder. However, I wouldn't put Apps in subfolders as what update of OS X is unable to see them there.

  • Creating folders for playlists of music from Apple. Possible?

If someone has identified a way to create folders and organize playlists of music from Apple or is not possible currently. I have my own playlists organized into folders, but all registered Apple 'For You' Playlists appear in a long list. I would like to organize by genre.

    Hi there morrispe,

I understand that you want a better way to organize your playlists of music from Apple on your Mac. I would suggest that you try to use some smart playlists to achieve this function:

If you want to create more complex rules - for example, with certain criteria corresponding to all the rules and other correspondence - you can create sets of rules or rules "nested". You can have up to five levels of nesting.

    Hello

I just upgraded from 5 to 6 s +.  All my apps are on my phone but I can not understand how to create folders.  I am holding down the app, but it starts to agitate as on the 5.  How to create folders on the 6s?

The iPhone 6 uses Touch 3D. Take a look at this. I don't have the iPhone 6, but I think that the trick is simply to press the icon rather than hold them.

I just thought of it. You must move the shortcuts to the application in one of the home screens, then you can hold and drag to create folders. This seems like an unnecessary extra step...
