  I have a few questions about agents for ODI.
  
  First of all, lets say that I have a couple of agents set up for a production environment. We're in a box of SQL Server and is on a box of Essbase (just as examples). If I run a batch of OS file using the agent on the box of Essbase, the operating system batch file is running on this box Essbase? In other words, I don't have to set up some kind of special software (such as PSEXEC) or a script from the window to make the batch file of the operating system running on the remote server, would I? I guess that if I use the agent on the box of Essbase, because he just listen to and then sends the compiled code, that code would be executed on the Essbase server.
  
  If I had but a single agent on SQL Server and you want to run a command on an Essbase server OS file, would be that batch file need to be put in place to be executed remotely?
  
  In the second place, which must at least be installed on a server to create an agent on this box? The software ODI must be installed (so that drivers, the odiparms.bat file etc will be available for the agent) and then the agent installed through the command line (set up as a service). I suppose that if this is the case, there would be no need to change anything in the modules of topology or security, just to make sure that the drivers folder is updated and the odiparms.bat file is updated. However, is there a minimum amount of software that can be installed (essentially, the minimum of crude to get the agent works correctly).

  You seem to have got it. An agent is a process that runs on a server. If you run an OSCommand of this agent, it is called on that server. So if you for example want to run an excerpt from SQL Server using BCP, you will have performed by the agent in your SQL Server box. The output file "land" on the server where the command was executed.

  To install an agent, you must still libraries etc. It runs as a Java application on this platform and requires the same etc. jdbc driver libraries that you use on the development environment. Use the Setup program to install, and there is only one installation of the agent. (if you cannot run the Setup program on your platform, then just move the directory oracledi to your installation media and configure the ODI_JAVA_HOME variable, and you are away.

  When I tried to access the protected resource, I am being redirected to the page of connection successfully.
  
  Now I wish I had this login page called when the user tries to access a protected resource hosted in any other server/system. In other words, centralize this login page.
  
  I read that to allow it to need configure redirection of challenge.
  
  I have tried providing the following formats to redirect the challenge
  (a) http://Servername/login.html
  (b) http://Servername:80 / login.html
  
  but these don't work. Please tell me where I'm going wrong.

  Takes the challenge to redirect as the name of the server, and it will add to the value that you put in the form: parameter. If the value of the redirection of challenge should just be:

• Windows 7 Home Premium - cannot change the user name in the authentication dialog box

  I was hoping someone might be able to answer a question on how to get a computer running Windows 7 Home Premium to display both the username and password fields when attempting to authenticate on another Windows computer.

  Here's the situation: allow us that the leaders and other members of the staff allowed our Organization to establish a VPN connection to our corporate network (via Fortinet Forticlient, for what it's worth.)  Once the VPN connection is established, on the remote computer, the user must be able to access the UNC path to our file (\\servername\share) server.

  Because the remote user has not yet authenticated on the domain Active Directory of business, a dialog box should appear to the user input a user name and password.  Enter the user name (domain\username) and password and share should open, and the user must then be able to access the files in the share.

  I (and several other members of the staff) have been using this method successfully to access files via the VPN connection, and it works very well.  However, it does not work whenever the President of the company will connect to the VPN from his computer at home.

  Whenever the President connects the VPN and attempts to access the UNC path, he reports that the dialog box which appears on his computer at home has only one field for a password; the user name field appears to be on his local user account, and it doesn't have the ability to change.  (I have him asked if there is an option 'use authentication information', and he declares that there is not just a dialog box with a single field, the field of password.)

  The President is running Windows 7 Home Premium on his computer at home, so I thought that the problem could be because he was running this edition of Windows.  However, I have installed VPN client and test the connection on the server share file using the computer of my wife, who is also running Windows 7 Home Premium, and I received the two fields as expected authentication dialog box and has been able to authenticate to the domain successfully and open files from the share with no problems.

  Does anyone have recommendations on what I can try to allow the President to authenticate successfully to our server share?  I am confused, and it is eager to be able to get remote access to files on his home computer.

  I was getting an ORA-936 on an application that I support (Oracle 11 g, CF 11, Windows Server 2012).  The database went down yesterday, for some reason unknown to me, and when he came, I'm now getting this error message.  The only pointer to the .cfm file is the sponsor.  I don't see how to fix it.  Can what information I include that will help you help me?  It seems that the more I learn, something new always comes along.   Here is the error page that is displayed.  I have not changed all the statements, I know.   Thank you.

  I would like to know about the flow of communication for the AnyConnect client authentication and ASA 5520 SDI.

  My client wants to use RSA SecurID On-Demand authenticator (token RSA SecurID On-Demand) between ASA 5520 for SSL VPN and AnyConnect client.

  I understand that ASA provides two modes to allow authentication SDI.

  Native SDI - ASA communicates directly with the SDI server to manage authentication SDI
  RADIUS SDI - ASA communicates to a RADUIS SDI (such as Cisco ACS) proxy and the proxy RADIUS SDI communicates with the SDI server, this means that the ASA does not communicate directly on the SDI server.

  I think that, in general (not consider ASA), the client (remote user) needs access to the web page on the server of the SDI for an SDI authentication token when it starts / SSL VPN connection configuration. However, I understand clearly that how SDI authentication works if I use ASA as secure gateway and configure ASA to allow authentication SDI.

  So my question is how authentication SDI work on ASA when I use ASA as secure gateway and configure ASA to allow authentication SDI (in both modes).

  The customer does not want the AnyConnect client to communicate with the server of SDI directly, but to communicate to ASA only because of their security problem. I don't know why the customer say...

  I couldn't find the authentication of SMS as code ' on demand ', IE. RSA will communicate somehow with network cellular provider to deliver SMS with part user token. (Phone number should uniquely identify a user)

  Please note that it is a little suspicious if the device that you authenticate provide you authentication credentials :-)

  Unless you mean a scenario where users connect through ASA to request a token (be it via NAT or perhaps via SSL Portal?) anyway, ASA is usually unconscious because the user has their authentication from the two parties.

  Let me know if you meant different on the the request token. I'm curious to see what RSA has in store for us.

• The authentication server is not available

  Using Photoshop CS4 Extended on a Windows 7 x 64 platform, when I try to make connections through the window. Extensions | Connections, I get "the authentication server is unavailable." Same thing on my laptop running Windows XP SP3. I have no record of boredom on Adobe.com, so I know that the connection protocols are correct. Also, when I try to "Check For Updates" using the flyout on the table of connections, I get "the update server is unavailable".

  Naturally, I want to get this working, but I'd settle for a work-around put up a sign that I created in the configurator.

  Interestingly, when I do window | Extensions | Kuler, I have no problem at all to connect to the Kuler application, so that the rules on internet connectivity to Photoshop questions.

  We believe that we have identified underlying causes and continue to investigate a long term solution. In the meantime, a workaround described in this article:

  At the point where the database is out of service and portion of memory dead it is to say the instance is there, no normal user and/or the dba user is allowed to log on. At that time, only the superuser, system is allowed to log on and it should start the database to other users to connect to it.
  For the user Sys to connect, there may be two ways, you can be using operating system authentication which requires underlying to authenticate your log in. The other may be using file password that contains the password for the Sys user and is created using Orapwd util. using these two techniques, you can connect to oracle as user Sys while the instance is available.

  So I'm working on a LT desire that has been upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 recently and it is this message on the login screen "the device is not connected to the computer. Insert the authentication device. We can't identify what it means or what needs to be done to clear the screen. The user States that the fingerprints of impression of BIO sensor doesn't seem to work either. I looked in the Device Manager, and I see a Synaptics PS sensors (WBF) listed here and is properly installed. I even updated the driver of sensor ep on the support site of the desire, and we still see on the login screen.

  We also note that the number on the keypad lock seems to be disabled during startup of windows 10 upwards. Before on windows 8.1 has been activated. Is there any setting to 10 to keep the active number lock.

  Seems to have been resolved in re - install the software HP Simple pass then go and reconfigure the settings. Message no longer appears on 10. User LT installed with 7 however. Best decision.
