  We have recently submitted an app for amazon and now have the following problems:

  The app has been accepted by amazon and shows on Amazon.com in the category ' Apps for Android. In addition, it is visible/available in the amazon appstore app when I install it on an Android (e.g. samsung galaxy tab). But unfortunately the app does not appear when I search in the appstore on the kindle fire HD 7 "(it was primarily intended for the device). The file apk (v25) works very well when you slide manually on the kindle fire HD.

  Aside from that, it is strange that the app on amazon.com page shows me the message that I am not eligible download the app due to geographic restrictions (I live in Germany and Amazon it lists as a country caught in charge). On the contrary, I can download the app on the device from samsung (via the appstore app) with a German amazon account.

  In the manual I ve of DPS read Amazon first assesses the application for approval in the Appstore, and then it evaluates to the fire. This could be the reason? It s about 12 days since our application has been accepted by amazon.

  Note:

  We use a separate account of DPS to our kindle folio.

  We chose the "Amazon Appstore for Android" setting in App Builder and "restricted renditions" are disabled.

  Version of DPS is 25 (in folio and kiosk).

  Hi everyone, im new here.

  (My English is not very good, but in any case I'll do my best to be understable).

  My name is Díaz de Miguel (South America, Chile) and now I'm working with a team on what we called 'Santa Maria Mobile Challenge' here in my University (UTFSM, Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria) and we have an app for phones mobile Blackberry... IM in charge of the User Interface of the application... so, here's my question:

  I conceive an idea of how it looks at the application (we are new to programming in java and J2ME for Blackberry), I designed in Photoshop, and with a few readings, I realize how can I do this on J2ME BB.

  In my research on J2ME and Clases de BB I think I can do this with HorizontalFieldManagers and VerticalFieldManagers... tie them a background image for each FieldManager (of course I have to divide my original and more image "images") and connect (or trigger) behaviour when he focused...

  The idea of this is to make each component of our application classes:

  IE: Where it says "task 1", which blocks will be a HorizontalFieldManager with 3 VerticalFieldManagers, one with the «!» Icon, the Second bearing the name of the task, in this example is "task 1", and the third will be the other information... and perhaps on the third HorizontalFieldManagers 2 more...)

  Well well... the idea of this post is to know if im on the right way to apply for ugly or there is a better way... I accept all the comments... I want to win this contest.

• Two questions about the shortcut app keys

  Hi, there! ~

  As we know, we can assign a keyboard shortcut to our applications for the quick start, but there is something different between my apps and os, my apps and os applications will show their hot keys on the home screen, it looks like figure 1 and figure 2, but in the screen switching Applications, my apps will always show shortcut keys and applications from the os will not looks like figure 3 and figure 4, my first question is how do my apps looks like os apps?

  The reason for the issuance of keys to switch Application screen, is that I have been called the HomeScreen.setName method to change the display name of my application.

  I have just moved to the Canada and not sure how taxes work here.

  If I submit a paid app (small personal projects) and earn money from it, must I pay tax for income in some way? (Or blackberry auto-deduit of payment?) Also, just out of curiosity, how can I win by an app 99 cent?

• Question about restoring In - App purchase

  We have this scenario and wanted to know the recommendations of Adobe.

  A customer has a multfolio app on the App Store with in-app purchases and active as well suscriptiones. Issues sold for several months. For some reason, he needs change the account of publication of DPS that it uses to publish folios.  He has already copied the current folios to the new DPS account and publishes them with the same folio product ID. He has not touched something else in the In - App purchases setting in iTunes Connect since there is nothing new to change on this section. Only, it creates a new application with the new DPS account ID. Subsequently, the .ipa installed fine and when you try to restore purchases, it displays an error (screenshot attached)...

  Have you ever been in this scenario before? That your suggestions about to compile one application with another account DPS without changing anything of the configuration of Apple?

• Question about newly released apps

  How to appear new applications on App World. -What in the 'News' section as long as there are not enough new applications in this category? Also, my first application was on the 'spot' section, or at least what I think is the spotlight section. I who did not ask, was I just lucky or are new applications shown for a short time?   They normally abandoned in newcomers (as it is called on the PlayBook in any case) while apps as they are among the 25 most recently posted.

  Presence in the spotlight or "spotlight" section is a lucky thing for you, the majority of new applications are shown certainly not here. Usually these applications have either been pinned for some reason known only to RIM, or their authors have identified (following some of the tips you will find in the App world FAQ in the provider Portal) and RIM agreed.

  I used bb8900 to watch a video, great quality!  but when I leave the media programme and return to open the video, it is always start from the beginning.  Is it possible to leave the video where he was, so I can continue where I end the last time.

  Hi, think that I understand your question so here's my suggestion. 1, when you look on the back key (to the right of the trackball) it minimized the screen. 2, then press the previous new & you will return to the media menu. 3, then you can press the red button to hang. When you return to your media file & viddied, you should be able to click on 'now playing' option & it should bring back you. Unfortunately the media player will continue to run in the background (the video stops), but it will reduce your battery time & memory resource, I guess that if your watching a movie you BB are connected when even if this isn't a problem. • Question about to leave apps and cleaning

  When my application leave what are the things I need to do for cleaning? I come from a background of windows so I do not know what
  Java and BB only.

  What I must put an end to all the listeners, I put up?
  Do I have to remove things like fieldManagers or commit the persistantStore?
  Should I burst all screens if say one is displayed on top of the other?

  Things like that... Can someone give me some advice?

• BlackBerry Z30 cannot remove Amazon Appstore or Amazon app

  Have a bad time with the Amazon Appstore App. first of all get spammed by day with update notifications. Then the application wants unlimited access to everything on as well as cloud and and the memory card.

  To remove all the Amazon once and for all, but the Amazon Appstore and Amazon cannot be deleted by pushing the icon and wait for the icon of pulse with the extra trash icon.

  All great advice?

  It doen't matter if you installed it yourself at some point (I did too), as long as you run OS10.3 + now (I assume you are), it is integrated into the operating system. The Amazon appstore has been introduced in the 10.3 patch, it came preloaded and integrated operating system. See this article for more information.

  You cannot uninstall the Amazon Appstore since it comes preinstalled with OS 10.3.

  If you don't plan to use, you can move the icon of a folder or on another screen.

  I was always hesitant to say that there is no way. But it's a basic application and there is no user installation to remove the Basic apps.

  Like you, the goal is to remove and reinstall, a BONE clean reload sounds like your best bet.

  You can run most any Android application via the Amazon AppStore which included or you can install an app called wink that will allow you to download and install any application from the Google game store. To their list of individual would take days.
