  I tried to find info, but nothing helps, I hope someone can help out me.

  So I'm ready to move to the 6 iPhone iPhone 5, as usual, I'll do a back up of my iphone 5 and a full restore of the iphone 6, my questions:

  -Will I keep the same number of PINS and keep all the chat history and contact? Or is regarded as a new installation, so a new PIN?

  -Is the BBM PIN to the iphone itself (physically), or related to the itunes account?

  -If someone is going to reuse my iphone 5 and install a new BBM, will they get the PIN I used or a new PIN (I think it will be a new PIN)?

  You will have a new PIN, but if you have set up your new device with the same BBID SAME, you keep your BBM contacts.

  Your BBM chat history is not selected.

  If a new user on your old iPhone using BBM with their BBID, they, also, I have a new PIN code and any of your existing contacts or cat will be retained for the user of the old appliance.

  Hello.

  I have looked on the internet and was unable to find an answer to my question and the RIM returned to my e-mail and directed me to this forum.

  My question is whether delete BBM messages can be retrieved from the backend to the police if they have a warrant or other order of the Court (for example, a production order).  I know that once the user can not recovered their the BBM messages are deleted, I wonder whether or not law enforcement can recover for a file, they are working on that.

  If anyone knows the answer I'll be very grateful.

  BlackBerry Messenger messages are stored locally on the device that received the message. These messages are not stored on a remote server any.

  Once the message is removed from the device, it is gone and cannot be reterived.

  I deleted by mistake (not blocked) my updates of the status of contacts appear in my RSS. How can I get that back? I use the 10.10.6.31 version. THX

  Open the BBM > drag to the bottom of the top screen > settings > press blocked Contacts and RSS > feeds. Touch and hold a name. Press on.

• Question of BBM SDK Simulator

  Hello

  I am facing a problem with the SDK of BBM 1.0beta.

  I followed the Quick Start Guide to install it.

  The MDS Simulator works well.

  The 6.0.0.313 Simulator works well also.

  I imported net_rim_bb_qm_platform.jar into my workspace jde.

  Point 3.8 says I need to use the Simulator profile 9800 - 6.0.0.313 to compile my project, but I can't find it in the Simulator profile drop-down list.

  What I am doing wrong? Can you help me please?

  If I copy the SimPackage - 6.0.0.313_9800.rc in the folder where I installed the Simulator in the JDE\bin folder, I can select from the drop of the JDE... and fix my app on the Simulator...

  Now my app to app hangs in the Simulator! Cool; (o)

  I want to ask you if the BBM requires a plan of a network provider or can be free to use wifi?

  I just upgraded my BBM and tried setting up, but after like step 2, it seems just empty. I tried to plug in on my facebook, but it tells me that my radio is off and I need to turn first. I don't know even what 'radio' the thing speaks!

  Yes, we must... use BlackBerry Messenger and many other BlackBerry applications on our BlackBerry devices we need a specific Plan of BlackBerry data / BIS of our carrier or service provider of network even in wifi.

  Once you enable it, you can use these apps on your mobile network as well as on the wifi with no problems.

  On your device Homescreen go in manage connections > make sure Mobile network is marked or checked.

• BBM BBM Desktop Window 8.1 Client surveys?

  I am a BBM on Android newbie.  I find it useful for applications of instant messaging by using several platforms. I am quite satisfied with BBM on Android and would be very grateful if I could also access the BBM from my Office Windows 8.1.  Something along the lines of AirDroid that allows the user to access their SMS via the device Android, a dedicated application or web client that works directly on the message store (assuming that there is a message on the network store?).   I could not find recent articles on this subject and apologize if it's already answered elsewhere.

  Thank you.  Practically, that answers my question.  BBM is specific to the device, unlike these IM like WhatsApp or FB Messenger apps, where the message store is linked with an ID that is device independent and probably stored "in the cloud" (or server-side as it was formerly called client-server).

  Sounds like BBM is closest to SMS the message store does not reside on the device (or at least that's the "check database" which may or may not be mirrored "in the clouds").  I guess the AirDroid and other apps Android SMS access the SMS store via an API that is intrinsic to the Android kernel.  Is there an API to the message BBM Android store that would allow an application like AirDroid to access?  If such an API does not yet exist, wouldn't relatively simple to implement (with security controls appropriate of course)?

  Question: The BBM Messages are not in delivery or receipt.

  I can type out messages and send them, but they are not being delivered and I don't get the bbm messages. I can send the same message from 10-15 times and it can be delivered.

  Text messages work, and my browser works, both on data and wireless. Was working fine last night, the problem started today. Made of soft and hard reboots no change.

  Using a PC browser, go to www.bbid.com and see if you can reset your password.

  When you set up your BBID it would be you sent an email asking you to verify your BBID by clicking on a link in this email. If you checked you can reset your password to www.bbid.com without a security answer.

  If you do not check the BBID then you need TO answer your security question. If you can't answer, then, if you still have the original e-mail, you can use it to remove the BBID and re-create it. You will lose all data associated with it like BBM contacts, however.

  If you do not have the original email, you will need to create a new BBID with a new email address.

  This happened to me today.  Head to https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/login/ from a computer, click on forgotten password and follow the directions.

  If you still have your original registration email, you can click on the link it contains to reset the password.

  If you do not have this e-mail or do not remember your security question then there is no way to recover your password and you will need to create a new ID of BB. This will result in purchases under your previous BB ID will be lost and will need to be redeemed.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BBM (not a question of PEEM)

  Yesterday I bought a Blackberry 3 G (9300) mobile. I have inserted my sim card from my iPhone and proceeded to add contacts, etc. I was then informed that I couldn't use the services of Blackberry without having a Blackberry bolt - on on my account. I bought this bolt on and I am still yet to be able to connect and use the services on the mobile such as Facebook or mobile web browser. My friend who is well-versed in BlackBerry told me that my phone was not downloading the service books correct to connect to these applications.

  I currently use the phone with 3rd party Twitter applications (so I can connect to the internet).

  My network provider is o2UK, I have a data plan and I also have a bolt blackberry we activated.

  My internet settings under TCP IP are below:
  APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
  APN username: payandgo
  APN password: password

  In my view, that the question is registration of the device to obtain the correct service books.

  The bolt is active (it came as ready to use when I registered on the site Web of O2).

  I have no idea what fixed my problem, but this morning the 3G logo on the top right of my phone has changed for a 3 g one (tiny g). I thought something was up, then I restarted the phone Mr. then I got a Blackberry message saying that my device was placed on the network.

  I then had access to all the features of BB as FB and BBM.

  Just display to help others in the future.

  Altogether. The BBMessenger service moves on the RIM network only and without any link with the RIM network, not a BBM.

  It is a fairly common question in the Forum here, to what services a does NOT have a BlackBerry data Plan.
