Questions of rocket batteries.

(1) a bad battery can avoid a rocket works even when it is plugged into a source of current (with or without the data connection)?

(2) If you want to take a battery of a rocket and use it on another, making the separation between the battery and the circuit board?

(3) is it possible to test if a rocket is good when it is connected to a circuit board that is bad or unknown disease?

(4) is there a way to test such a battery when it is not connected to anything?

I have a multimeter, but no fancy equipment.

Probably, a safety device in case of a short-circuit battery, the system would not load if it detects a short. I'm guessing that he cannot leave the power to drive upward in some battery detected failure conditions.

(2) If you want to take a battery of a rocket and use it on another, making the separation between the battery and the circuit board?

Desolder the red, black and blue wires on the top edge of the main map. One time and DO NOT allow the ends of bare wire of a few against each other. If the battery has a charge and the wires are shorted, it could start a fire or explosion!

(3) is it possible to test if a rocket is good when it is connected to a circuit board that is bad or unknown disease?

Not really. To properly test a battery, it must be connected to a well known player card. It can then check if it completely fresh in a reasonable amount of time, holds a full charge without auto drain quickly and it can support power to the player for the nominal duration for the discharge.

(4) is there a way to test such a battery when it is not connected to anything?

You can test only one voltage level. It doesn't show much. You will need the dynamic test as explained above.

I have a multimeter, but no fancy equipment.

  • 2 questions of rocket

Hi people, I have a 8 GB Fuze and the love of the thing - have used it every day since 2 or 3 years.  3 questions:

    1. the most important: it's an old "rocket"; It will work with a 32 gb SanDisk microSDHC?  I always use it w a 8 GB card.

    2. If I use 32 GB, should I update firmware?  where are you going to do (sorry, I know it's lame)

    3. non-: over time, I noticed that the very first songs I put on the player is no longer can be deleted by using the Windows interface.  Is that what others have lived?  It's as if I have more access to a part of the built-in memory (not the stuff on the 8 GB SDHC micro that is inserted).

    Thank YOU, all.

If you go to Settings/System Settings/USB Mode, you'll see two choices, MTP and MSC and Auto Detect.

Auto Detect sends to PSG if he sees Windows Media Player 10 or higher on your computer, because it assumes that you want to sync, etc., with Windows Media Player.

The other mode, MSC, is just the look of the rocket as two ordinary disks on your computer: a car that happens to be called Sansa Fuze (drive letter): and the memory card reader.

The fun is that, while the "rocket" sees all the music in his memoirs, your computer can only see one mode at a time. Looks like you have transferred your older songs in a different mode you use usually now.

Remove Auto Detect it, try each mode and see if you can find your music. Decide which mode you want to use and leave it on this mode - no automatic detection. Weird file names are junk added by Windows Media Player, supposedly to help with faster indexing, but (in my opinion) really just to annoy you.

My guess is that you used the MSC but at some point Auto Detect slipped a few files on via MTP.

  • Question about files FLAC

I have a MP3 and FLAC files I intend to copy on an SD card. I have NOT yet bought a Sansa Fuze. Before I do so, I have 2 questions: the "rocket" will play two files transparently, or should it be passed from one mode to the other (to play different types of files)? In addition, if the songs are numbered and in a particular order, it will play them in that order?

    Bryan

A warning and information no one has mentioned (with the exception of the gwk1967 with respect to navigation in folders)...

Yes, the rocket is going play files FLAC and you can sort and play by the folder... but both of these features have been added through firmware updates. You won't be able to do this with an out-of-the-box rocket. First, you will need to update the firmware.

  • After the update to iOS 9.3 push mail works do not under any circumstances

I have an iPhone 6 Plus.  I have updated to iOS 9.3 and now none of my email (gmail, work email, outlook.com) push works.  I have to go periodically and click on mail and let get it back (as if it was the battery saver mode).

I restarted the phone, I uninstalled and reinstalled some of the mail accounts.  No luck.

Anyone else out there there is this problem?  All the patches that do not include a restore?

Whenever Apple says that "restore your device" or "Exchange your device" which is the answer the more B.S. ever and is the last option, not the first.

In addition, Apple, if you're reading this, I'd appreciate a battery that works above 40 degrees.  Samsung works well below zero, but the iPhone stops and asks to plug you because it's too cold below 40 degrees.  Your answer to my question was "our batteries are assessed to the don't work from 32 degrees.  Failure of engineering.

  • Satellite A200-1AX where can I get battery 12

    Hello

I have a simple question about the batteries on these laptops.
I'm looking to buy a battery 12 cells for this model.

Toshiba BG (Bulgaria) said that there is no battery 12 cells laptop model Satellite...
Somehow I do not have them.

Could someone tell me where can I buy a battery?
Give me a link from an onlien shop?
    :)

    Hello!

On the Toshiba site, you can search for new batteries:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online services & -online Options of PC Accessories devices & -Online Homepage Options & accessories PC

There you can find compatible batteries and where to buy it.
But if the ASP said that there was no battery 12 cells for this model I think it is. The ASP will know better than us users here. ;)

    Good bye

  • Quality battery - why the price difference?

It's time to get a new battery for my trusty Qosmio G30. The price range seems huge - on the Toshiba site, it's £94 exc VAT, but there are other sites selling batteries 'nine' at £38 inc VAT.

My question is, all batteries are the same? A £38 battery will last as long as a £96 a - what's the catch?

    Hello

You are right. On the market there are batteries for laptops offered and the price range is pretty huge. For example, on eBay, you can buy battery for laptop that costs half the price in regular stores.

I noticed that these batteries don't have Toshiba name printed on the label, but the format is the same. In general, they are same, but if the quality is the same is another question. To be honest I have good experience with these cheap batteries and I use them on my mobile phone and cam.

The same story is with cars. If you buy some part by authorized partner, they will be more expensive as offered by some independent stores. According to me, you know why.

In my opinion, you can buy and use this less expensive battery. Maybe life will not be as long as with battery original, but you will save money. Maybe in a year, you want to buy new Qosmio. ;)

  • Laptop HP 15-f018dx: fairly new mobile number

I got this laptop for Christmas last year, has never had a single problem with anything with it until about a month. I woke up one morning and went to use it and it wouldn't turn on at all. I plugged back it it to the charger, unplugged all the parts of the AC adapter, I tried different outlets, tried different Chargers that worked with other laptops in my house, and nothing would work.

Whenever I come back to it after let it sit for a few hours every time I try to connect it to the charger the led load turns on, but if I try to turn it on at all while the light is still orange (which means that the load) it starts for a few seconds then makes a pop sound and instantly shuts down. If I try to wait to load completely, finally the orange light just turns off randomly.

When the problem came first, I'm tired of playing with it and just left alone for about 2-3 days. Once I tried to connect again after waiting to see if anything changed, surprisingly, he did. I left load and returned a little later and the light had turned white (which means completing) and it started without any problems at all.

I thought that everything that has been magically the problem solved itself said, but apparently not. A few days ago the same thing happened again. It does not load unless I have leave for a few hours and even in this case, it will not start completely or fully charged. I tried hard resetting so and there is absolutely nothing. I tried raising the same problem online, and nothing of what is here helped.

I don't know if it is related, but I have upgraded recently to 8.1 Windows of Windows 10 a few weeks before the problem started. Since the first time it happened, I've updated the version (I thought it might have been connected to the endless reboot problem that previous 10 Windows users had), thinking that was the problem I had.

Just to be clear, at this time I can not turn on the computer or load it. I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 64-bit through the free upgrade promotion that had Microsoft Windows 64-bit.

Thank you in advance and I will gladly questions answer I can.

Hi itsdean, welcome to the forum.

This sounds like a battery problem. I have not heard of similar problems to other upgrade to Windows 10, so I don't think that is the question.

Batteries naturally lose the ability and need to be replaced over time, but this is unusual behavior for a year of use. I would first check the battery, especially around the points of contact for any damage.

I would also check that you are using a power adapter with the right power - new adapters require 90 to 130 watts (I'm not sure that for this model.)

You can read more troubleshooting tips battery this device here.

If you can confirm that the battery is faulty, I recommend to check the service guarantee. I can also refer to the spare part you need if it's not under warranty.

    I hope this helps!

  • EOS Rebel T3 battery problems

    Hello

I had my camera maybe 8-9 months ago, and I tried to understand this battery problem since then. The original battery supplied with the camera hardly worked at all. I would like to load completely, and then it would take about 5 pictures and then caput. The camera told me to reload.

I bought a new battery (battery official canon) and this one does a little better job. However, I have always charged between uses. I remove the battery from the device between uses, but whenever I have turn it back on again it could last 10 pictures before having to recharge. I even bought a new charger thinking that maybe it was the charger that was not working, but that has not helped the problem.

So my question is: the batteries don't last long in general? Is it normal to have to recharge the battery after each use? This could be a problem with my camera I'll need to send it to be fixed?

No, they do not get hot to the touch. In fact, if I plug it into the charger, the charger shows a green light full load after a few minutes.

The camera will show a full charge for a minute and then turns off with the message "recharge" the next. After turning on the back, the battery indicator usually will show a full charge again.

I am under the impression that the problem lies in the camera and have contacted support to try to resolve the problem. Thank you all for your help!

  • Satellite 4090xcdt / question about CPU upgading & batteries

    Hello

I just joined the forum. Looks really good.

I inherited a satellite 4090xcdt (PAS409EYX-ENX). He had 4 gig ' ish HDD, Celeron CPU (300 or 400 MHZ?), 64 MB of RAM and win 98.

me and my boyfriend has replaced the HARD drive with 80 GB model (the original was on his last breath), upgrade of RAM as it could by adding a key to 256 MB to the current 64 MB.

It helps a lot and allows us to run Win XP Home and now added a wireless card.

    2 questions.

    I can get a Celron M 700 MHz processor - I can it whack in the 4090xcdt?

Is there a good source cheapish of spare batteries - as the mounted one, last about 5 minutes when it is turned off!

Thnaks for the search - any help appreciated.

    Hello

OK, I studied a little and it seems that this laptop has an Intel Celeron 400 MhZ CPU.
To my knowledge it s not advisable to replace the CPU s on the laptop. Some CPU is soldered on the Board.
Of course, I read some reviews on the replacement of the CPU, and some people were able to replace or upgrade. BUT laptop computers did not work properly. Sometimes, don t cooling modules work or BIOS have had problems with the APCI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface).
In my opinion you shouldn't do it! Perhaps you may also damage the motherboard.

Well, you should also always use the Toshiba battery recommended. A bad battery can damage the laptop. As far as I know the battery on this laptop should have these properties:
    Lithium Li-ion 10,8 V, 3, 600 mAh, reference number: PA2487U

You should be able to buy these batteries in every store of the laptop. Of course, you can also contact the Toshiba ASP in your country. Here, you can order the original.

  • Questions before buying a rocket

I had a view for 2 years but he lost. I think to go with a rocket, because I read that it's better than the view and I barely used the video feature. Before I go buy a replacement mp3 player, I have a few questions:

    1. I went through at least 5 pairs of headphones with the view. The sound would die in the left side of the headset, even if the headphones were very good with electronics. The "rocket" wasting his time or what kind of problem?

    2. are there problems of compatibility with Windows 7?

3 are there other mp3 players (under $ 200) with the exception of iPod and Zune that I should consider?

    Thanks in advance

@1: I have my rocket since August last year and have no problem with the headphones or the sound. While he plays well

@2: I have not met one, but I only use the device in MSC mode (so I could use it as a USB key). I still have not tried MTP mode.

@3: I had a deeper look at the devices on the market last year, but I'm sure that the "rocket" has by far the best 'value for money '.

    You are welcome

  • Question about batteries for laptops and a station (HP Elitebook 840)

    Hello

I have a question for plagging the laptop to the docking station and battery, basically my main concern is not to connect to the laptop to run a/c, while it is fully charged and I'm always load only up to 100% and then when it reaches the minmum load then I connect it comes back to a/c, so my question here

So do you think that that plug the laptop into the docking station will not decrease the duration of battery life because it will always be in charge mode?

    Thank you.

After this announcement, I made a simple google image search with different keywords before 'docking and battery' and I found the following thread that answers my question

    Docking station ruin the battery?

  • Question on batteries for Satellite A300

    Hello, I have Toshiba Satellite A300 series, with battery b - 15 ~ 4000 mAh. model PABAS098, precisely: TOSHIBA PA3534U - 1BRS PABAS098.

I would like to know if there is a battery for my laptop with a capacity more than 4000 mAh, meybe about 8000?
If does, please tell me the name of this specific model. I can't find the solution :/

    Thank you.

At first, I want to ask what is the b-15 A300? This exact description written on the label is placed on the bottom?
Sorry, but if you want an accurate answer you should provide a description of the exact model laptop. It cannot be so problematic.

Back to your question: all options are indicated on page Toshiba supported under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > devices & Services > Options & accessories.

If you have the Satellite A300-15 b, you will find that Toshiba offers (Li-ion, 9 cell, 6000mAh) battery for your laptop.

    Check it out.

  • Question I just bought a rocket 'old '?

    Hello-

I finally bought a 8 GB Fuze today!  My first mp3 player... so excited... except that I realized (and maybe it seems ridiculous) but the packaging is not one that is currently using Sansa and the date on the back says 2008.  There was a rocket of update since then?  Or am I just to buy the same product sold now except in the old packaging.  In addition, is the port of owners (I mean, this right of hope) is standard on all of them or who put both in a mini-USB?  I am new to all this so I hope that makes sense!

    Thank you very much.

    Newer is not necessarily better.

Are you lucky you have a v1 - if you have. Look under Settings/System Settings/Info to determine if your firmware starts with 1 or 2.

If you browse this forum, you will find the v2 seems slightly buggy v1 - so much so that SanDisk has had to walk back on his latest firmware (look at the Firmware update thread).

If you do not have the v2, the firmware of the use of the 2.02.26, installed manually, rather than the version.28. And don't worry not - the "rocket" is still a clever player in either version. It's a good idea to update, regardless of which version you got. Updates add things like .ogg and. Capacity FLAC and navigation of files and folders (as in Windows Explorer).

Manual installation couldn't be easier, and you don't need the Sansa Updater for firmware as long as you check here every three months or more. You download the .zip file, unzip the and drop fuzea.bin on the Sansa Fuze player.

It takes the update to get the latest Sansa Media Converter to put pictures and videos on the device, which can be downloaded with the connected device.  Run the update once, get the converter and uninstall the update. Or don't bother: Video4Fuze works better than Sansa Media Converter anyway.

The owner is the same in all rockets and the E200 Series as well. You can easily find a cord of generic alternatives for less than $5 on Amazon, which is nice to have around if you use the "rocket", for example, home or office. Just make sure that it is for Sansa E200 and Fuze. The card resembles an iPod Jack, but the power iPod connection will destroy the Sansas.

  • Due to the upgrade of my e260v1 to a rocket: Questions

1 East-album art embedded in mp3 OK screen?

    2. any report of battery failure?

    3. we find the headphone down to be annoying?

4 how voice recording works on the "rocket"?

5 GoList several or a single as the old series e200?

    Thanks in advance

    BlackDog

    BlackDog-sansa says:

    Thank you all.  A follow-up:

Regarding registration, you have to go through several stages of menu to get to voice recording?

(just seems inevitable that, as soon as the designers of something is good, they will change and make it less feasible in the next version)

And, there is no "scan - through-song or fast-forward?  Is this true?

    What they think?

Voice recording: in the menu, it's just 1/3 on the dial, then 2 clicks and you save - takes 2 seconds.

On all voice/FM recording, including, it is the scan/fast-forward. Don't know where you heard the opposite, but it is as fake as possible.
