  Hi guys,.
  
  I have two questions.
  
  One, once I have enter data in the leaf level, values aggregate to their parent except period dimension. The aggregation method is elsewhere, conservation never share type and data type is currency. Should provide the member formula to calculate the value for high level members?
  
  Two, some nonleaf members need their own values. For example, a business in the entity dimension unit has some departments. Apart from the consolidation of departments, the BU needs a budget for itself. But members nonleaf cells are read-only. How to deal with my situation?

  You can't, not in a release from the bottom up. You can allot of bu1_ to his brothers and sisters. Or you can use the version of up and down, to parents of input values and allocate up to nonleaf members.

• Question on the aggregation rule

  Hi all
  
  In the report that follows the SUM in column of CALC5 works only if I use the 'aggregate value"as SUM. For other fields CALC, I used by default as the value of aggregation. The only difference between the CALC5 column and other columns is CALC5 column is the result of CALC1 - (CALC2 + CALC3 + CALC4). Can you please explain why I should use the SUM of the aggregate value to get the result of corerct? What is the difference between the default and the SUM of the values of aggregation?

  Hello

  Default aggregation rule implies - the value use the aggregation defined in the RPD rule to calculate the OVERALL TOTAL (which is a SUM(col1+col1...), the SUM is taken from RPD).
  Now, in your case CALC5 is a derived column so to calculate an OVERALL TOTAL, there should be some involved aggregation type, which is what your specification using the aggregation rule.

  points to note:
  1. If your columns contain multiplication &
  2. If your division, you MUST set up the appropriate aggregation columns for your TOTALS display as you wish.

  also note, look at SQL logic with and without the game of aggregation rules, the difference is clearly visible.

  I bought EA8500, and it arrived today.

  I have two questions about the functionality of MU-MIMO of EA8500 AP.

  1. I want to compare the performance between SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO, but there is no option to control this feature in the router admin page. Is that one of the possible ways?

  2 EA8500 supports 1733 Mbps wireless speed, but it resembles the speed of 1 Gbps ethernet cable.

  Hi, hyeonu. For your first query, it is not possible because there is no option to disable the feature of MU-MIMO on your Linksys EA8500 router. In addition, with regard to your second, you can get a higher throughput of 1 Gbps since this is the maximum capacity of your ethernet connection.

• Question about the construction of cube / query performance (11.2.0.3)

  Hi, I have a stupid question on the performance of cube generation. By choosing the precalc %, is linear (or nearly linear) construction time to that? for example if you select 10% going to be 3 times faster than the selection of 30%? Also, is it fair to assume that if only 10% of the values are precalculated, an average end-user queries have to hit 3 times more data and therefore be about 3 times slower?
  
  Sorry, this on a virtual computer on your laptop, so test different configs build takes forever (I still have a load of cube really complete). Guess I should not be trying a cube Sun 15 on a virtual computer on your laptop, but trying to sell a DBA on the fact that she could improve the performance of our mini - DW.

  Aggregation based on costs (aka "Pre-computes percent") was introduced in 11.1 as a simpler alternative based on the level of aggregation. Product management dream was a linear parameter, but the complexity is quickly apparent. Which could measure the linearity against? The generation time? Time of the query? Total size of the disk? The result the balances of all of these factors, but is linear against any of them. Fortunately, behavior level percentage precompute was fairly consistent between cubes and patterns in our experience, so I can give you a rough characterization. But keep in mind that this is a guide only - you have to experience on your own scheme and a system to see what works for you. In particular, you must balance your own requirements on construction time, time of the request and the disk size.

  * 0% *-this means no precomputation at all, so all data access will be dynamic. This is the recommended setting for the top of the page partition of a cube. If, for any reason, you want to use for the scores of leaves as well, then I advise you pass a cube uncompressed.

  * 1% *-he pre-computes the smallest part of the cube that is allowed by the algorithm and would take certainly greater than 1% of the time taken by an accumulation of 100%. For partitions of leaves, it is usually best to increase the amount because you'll get much better query response time for not much more profitable in terms of disc size and the generation time. It may be a good level for the top of the page partition of a cube, but should be used with caution because the top of the page scores are often too big to pre-computes.

  * 2%-19% *-these levels does not seem to be a lot of benefits since the amount of time and the total size of the disk is almost identical to a construction of 20%, but queries are slower.

  * 20%-50% *-this range is probably the best compromise in terms of construction compared to the time of the query. The default value of the AWM is 35%, which is a good starting point. Lower it to 20% if you want a faster version and get up to 50% if you want to replace the faster queries. The setting is close to linear in this interval than outside it.

  * 51%-99% *-you should probably avoid these levels, although I've seen 60% used in practice. The reason is that while the size of the cube and the length of the construction increase rapidly, the queries do not receive proportionally faster. Indeed, you may find that queries are slower because the code spends more time swapping in the pages of the disc.

  * 100% *-this will be pre-computes all (non-NULL) cells in the cube. It may be a surprise after my advice about 51%-99%, but 100% is a reasonable level to choose. This is because the code is much simpler when you know that everything is precalculated and then stored in the disk pages.

  That being said, you have an option that ignores null values when using the analytical functions, or you can filter nulls using where clause. Otherwise it will be treated.

• Question on the impact of Garbage collection

  I get messages in the log as below...

  In the case above Member 4 is an active storage node and Member 7 is not.
  Basically, it runs a distributed cache, in a client/server operation.
  
  I understand that this basically means consistency server is waiting to communicate to the customer and cannot due to the garbage collection operation.
  
  This is perfect, we expect in this scenario, the client JVM to have breaks from garbage collection, we cross GC optimization at the moment.
  
  To get to the question later :) Does this mean that this node is unable to communicate to other nodes of customer for 538ms? And so the customer break GC affects consistency server node and therefore all client nodes?
  I expect the cache to always respond to requests to take, but if there is only one responsible for thread of the publication of the packages to clients (as indicated by the name of the thread) so I can't imagine it would be blocked.

• Yes, another question regarding the freezing of Safari - EtreCheck report included

  Yes, another question regarding the freezing of Safari.

  From a little over a month (I think), Safari started freezing regularly whenever I want to open new tabs or switch between tabs. I found myself to leave the program several times per day / hour. I can't identify any specific common cause (other than my MacBook being old) or any new software or updates that might have initiated the question. At first I thought he might have many tabs, I tried to open, but recently it happens even with only a few tabs open.

  I worked through the steps I found in this forum and others: empty the cache, start in safe mode, etc nothing works.

  Based on the previous suggestions, I have downloaded and run EntreReport which I included below. The note and maybe just a distraction, but EntreReport has crashed three times tonight, before he was able to produce the sub report. I ran the report after restarting my system with no other programs running.

  Suggestions are welcome at this stage because I want to start using Chrome or Firefox because I like the transfer procedure between my devices.

  Question for the geniuses of pictures only.

  You see, I started with iPhoto and later began to use Aperture.  With iPhoto and Aperture, you can have ALL the metadata below the thumbnails, (nice).  Well, I put all my images descriptions in the keywords section because it didn't really matter, because these programs could show them as thumbnails.

  Now, I use this wonderful program of Photos and I found out that it will ONLY show the title of"the image in the thumbnails.  I've got on 30 000 images with keywords but no title.  I want to move / copy the text in the keywords section in the section of the title. I'm not a computer scientist, I guess that my skills are in average.  But I can follow directions.

  Suggestions appreciated.
