HDMI Splitter

I was using a HP and I had connected him to three different views. I use a hdmi splitter to connect displays to the hp. I bought a macbook pro to replace my hp and now one of the screens is empty when my mac is connected. It dates back to when the hp is connected. The screen turns off is an apple tv. Something wrong?

Hello nlbc123,

I understand you have a problem with the external display on your MacBook Pro. Let's see if we can get smooth it.

The first thing you want to look over is to see if you can detect that the display is that it is disabled when you are connected. Open System Preferences > displays and in the lower right corner of the window. If you don't, hold the Option key to setting this up. If this does not work then you can try to connect the display directly instead through a HDMI splitter.

Check out the articles below to learn more about the detection of the display as well as additional troubleshooting to get this working for you.

  • Presenter PowerPoint on Mac mini mode displayed on the screen and the projector when using HDMI splitter

We have a Mac mini connected to a screen and a projector via HDMI using a HDMI splitter.

It works fine for most applications, but during presentations PowerPoint, presenter is displayed on the monitor and the projector.

When I disconnected the mini Mac's HDMI cable and put it in a MacBook, the presenter appeared on the MacBook screen (as it should) and only the slide appears on the screen and on the projection screen.

Of course if we have to use the MacBook for presentations instead of the Mac mini, you would need to have seen the presenter on both the screen and on the screen of the MacBook.

In the Mac mini display preferences there is no button to "Gather Windows" when the Mac mini is attached to the screen and the projector via HDMI splitter is a tab "setting."

But these two things appear on the MacBook when it is connected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I'm confused. When you use a video separator the same screen will appear on the two monitors connected to the separator. This is how works a separator

    Hello

DVI and HDMI is digital, you can use a DVI - HDMI cable to connect the second monitor.

  • Connect an apple iPad two televisions

We have two Apple TV in the Office we need to connect to an IPad. We managed to connect one of the TVs now showing a PowerPoint presentation. My question is that we can connect two TVs to the IPad even? If this is possible please could you let me know how we can do this? TIA

Hello. It is certainly not part of the normal application of AirPlay. If the two screens are not too far away, you might consider a multi HDMI splitter like Monoprice. Some of them use Cat 5 cable as interconnection, so you do not really long HDMI leads.

  • HP Envy 311na 700: HP Envy 700-311na - no monitor output work

Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this.

    No.: G9B05EA #ABU

    Model n °: 700-311na

My PC works absolutely fine for the last two months, until what I tried to put on yesterday.  My problem is that my screen displays "signal found" despite my branch above Tower.

    Start-up and testing:

    • When starting my PC I get the usual beeps and the Red led on it becomes as it normally would.
    • The wifi light is on as it should be, on the front of my Tower.
    • The usual flashing light also works as usual on the front of the tower.
    • The fans work properly when turned on.
    • My wireless keyboard and mouse are recognized as soon as a key is pressed or the mouse moves, like light blue on my connector USB lights up as it normally would.
    • The CD open/close readers as it should.

    What I've tried so far:

    • Turning off and on again (no luck).
    • Remove the power cord from the computer and hold the power button for 15 seconds before reconnecting and powered it back up (no luck).
    • Connect my turn to another monitor via HDMI (no signal found error also on this one).
    • With the help of my usual PC monitor for other things (my xbox entry was detected immediately on the monitor via HDMI).
    • By using all the methods of display output 3 available with my usual monitor (DVI, HDMI, DP), none of them worked and all would result in no error signal on the screen.
    • Withdrawal/meeting the cables of the screen.  This does not give rise to my monitor to turn on as if is acknowledged the connection has been established to an output device, but once the display lights I get the usual error message ("this is the case with two DVI and DP connections, HDMI does not give me a lot of joy, but maybe it's because she's going through a ' 1 autodetect in 3 out" HDMI splitter.)  The separator acknowledges, that the HDMI is connected, but I get the normal red light that appears when a Powered HDMI is bound upward).

    What I did:

    • Touched the BIOS.
    • Damaged the machine.
    • Disassembled the machine somehow.

I'm full of ideas on what else to try.  I had the PC for more than a year and has a problem similar to that in the first months of her own, I think it's something to do with the power supply cable (a friend looked for me), but he managed to make it work back again.  Unfortunately I am no longer able to contact my friend on this problem, so I am completely in the dark.  Help would be very appreciated (please avoid some specialized terms as I am a little one recruit across a company PC fixing).

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Thank you for your response.  Fortunately, I can offer you a solution to my own question!  In my view, a windows update 10 can occur during the last stopped that I made.  The update I think doing something to the BIOS that was the issue.

I did the following steps and managed to get the display to start working again:

    1. Turn on the computer and press the F10 key for eight seconds.

You want two 24 "screens showing the same image?  That's what most of the dispatchers.  MonoPrice says that Belkin does ' t say it than their dispatcher don't.

If you want different pictures on the poster you will need a Matrox unit:

Simple Mini DisplayPort / HDMI adapters are used to connect HDMI displays to Mini DisplayPort.  They will not work in reverse.

To connect a display, Mini DisplayPort to HDMI (or DVI with a DVI to HDMI cable) you need a converter, such as:

  • Send a speech to two Apple TV

AirPlay does not support several stream if you need 2 iPads.

Think you buy a HDMI splitter and connect the two screens the same ATV and flow to that so that they remain synchronized.

I can "extend" office, but both screens display the same image, which is not what I want. Can I set up two external monitors with this laptop using a separator (that was what I was told would work when I bought the unit and both monitors.)  Computers portable precedents had ports HDMI and VGA that allows two monitors.  This laptop (and most recent) no longer have a VGA port.

    Hello

If you want 2 external monitors to have different point of view, you need two different outputs. Two monitors of a same source cannot have 2 times. My cheap suggestion: buy a cheap USB - DVI Cela will fix the problem. I did a test using a cheap DisplayLink and get:

  • TX1300-65 presentation in two screens

    Hello!

The customer asked me if it is possible to use two screens to share presentations on TX1300-65, but I didn t any document found on the page of cisco that explain this information.

In TX1300-47, the document indicates, I can use a HDMI splitter and plug it into the Port of the ACU, but this information is not predefined in docs TX1300-65.

Anyone know if I can use this separator in a TX1300-65?

    Thank you

    Emerson

    Hey Emerson,

Yes, TX1310 has a splitter HDMI that you can use to connect additional output displays to your system. The equipment has a part called Expansion Box", which is used to extend the audio and video. In this box, you can connect up to two HDMI output displays to show the presentation on them.

I have personally tried this feature by myself, it works very well. I connected two screens of presentation to a TX1310 without using any external video separators.

It's the image of the Expansion area where you connect the auxiliary displays:

To do this, in general, everything you need to work:

    • Correctly connect the HDMI output of the codec to the HDMI in of the Expansion area
    • Correctly connect the HDMI output of the Expansion area to your two additional screens

Regarding the screens are supported, you can purchase auxiliary Cisco views (they are large professional screens), however, the Cisco TelePresence systems are designed to work with any Full HD monitor that connects to the system using an HDMI or DVI standard interface, you can use the HDMI-HDMI or HDMI-DVI cable.

    I hope this helps.

  • Alienware with dual AMD 18 290 x connected to Asus pb287q monitor 4 k goes on and outside - unusable

I just got my pc brand new brand and it's great. However, I also bought 2 K 4 monitors from ASUS (PB287Q) and realized that I have 2 problems.

1 when connected to the monitor 4 k via hdmi, the screen turns off completely and returns, it does if I have some programs and some do not. That is to say, I'm a developer and if I open a studio Android on the monitor, he soon begins to twinkle on and. essentially its unusable. However, Outlook, Chrome etc. all work on the same screen without problem

I downloaded the latest amd drivers dell site, without effect.

I noticed that if I lower the resolution a notch below 3 k, it won't on and outside. So I'm tempted to think it's a driver issue and not the monitor has a problem

    2. How can I connect two monitors to the alienware? That is, can I use the mini displayport and hdmi at the same time? or should I get a hdmi splitter?

The monitor goes on and out, drives me crazy and I hope someone has a solution.

    Thank you

    Hello

I downloaded catalyst since the link pasted at the bottom.

My problem with twinkle magically disappeared. I don't know what he did. I used RAW (custom resolution utility) to decrease the resolution to something like 3740 x 2160 and found that the flicker would stop. Infact, it seemed to be a problem with the rate of horizontal refresh or something because if I put the monitor in potrait, no flikering mode.  I finally returned to the native of 3840 x 2160 to 30 Hz and it has not blinked since.

There would also be some windows updates has fixed the problem. I don't know who.

On your question, it looks like an adapter is physically disable it and the software of catalyst that detects and tell - lets crossfire. While you might give it a try and download another version of catalyst, its likely you will need to have portable reality checked to determine why a card is disabled.

  • (Redirected) Alienware Alpha question

I bought this for my son for Christmas. Anyway, I ended up buying him the Xbox 1 as well. I want to hang the Alpha of its flat screen in his room, but also to a Dell 24 "monitor. The problem is that I see only 1 out HDMI on the Alpha.

How connect both its flat screen and its monitor from the computer to the top at the same time? Some research shows that they offer a Powered HDMI splitter. Is this my only option?

In addition, the monitor has a DVI connection normal so I need to get out of the Alpha HDMI splitter and 1 side brackets to the TV Samsumg, the other on its screen with a DVI HDMI converter.

Is this really the only, it was this going to work? Can I connect through a USB port?

  • tvOS 10 update breaks DD5.1 on Apple TV output 4 HDMI

I have my TV connected to a HDMI/optical splitter so that it can feed my Sonos Playbar. Prior to the update of the audio has been correctly be pulled the HDMI cable and divided optics 5.1 true, as stated in my application of parameters of Sonos. • Video signal splitter unrecognized DVI - two different devices! Why?

Looking for answers - replaced a motorized DVI splitter that has worked well for over a year - using HDMI > DVI

adapter to connect Mac Mini i7 2012, OSX 10.8.5, HDMI port, to the Aluratek DVI splitter.  Configuration below - worked fine for about 2 weeks.  Then came after a few days of inactivity - computer but the display mode 'sleep'... would not wake up. removed the splitter and connected live - monitor (s) work well.   This same issue is why I replaced a divisor of model "TrippLite" - impeccable/no questions for 12 months, and more with this one.    The separator indicates its getting the video signal from the Mac... and video shows displays connected... but see monitors/don't receive it no signal.  I tried to lower the display resolution - no impact.  Have reset NVRAM, SMC several times... reconnected, the range cable several times... tired MiniDisplay Port Adapter > DVI... no luck.  ANY IDEAS MUCH APPRECIATED!  It's in a studio where I need to have dual - in a second workspace - splitter necessary because the distance to the extreme-monitor is too long for a splitter - liabilities

Technical support said mfgr this Mini graphics card can possibly work for "a while" then stop recognizing the defendant of... How do I?  If we read a single monitor, directly - connected is too much coincidence for a second separator developed the same problem as the other we had - I don't know if there is some thing in the Acer monitor settings that would have an impact on anything whatsoever but I doubt - this new separator 'fixed' the old man a problem after it was connected - and now signal is not recognized through it after a few weeks.
