• Delay during playback when switching between sequences (media pending)

  Hello guys,.
  I am increasingly frustrated with first CC lately.

  I am so under CC on a desktop PC. Basic elements: Asus X - 79 Deluxe, Intel i7 4930 K, 32 GB ram, Geforce Titan.

  OS (Win 8.1) and CC are running on an SSD. Images is on internal 7200 RPM HHDs.

  All other software (for most Davinci and Red movies) work perfectly, fast, no crash what-so-ever. So I thought that the system worked very well. But the first is a nightmare and I'm trying to figure out where she can come.

  Some problems appeared recently on the latest version, and I have not in the past.

  First of all, I faced a huge problem when opening simply clips in the project window in the Source drive. I was usually a 30 seconds 'Media pending' every time. When you work with files 1000 +, it was simply impossible to work. Oddly enough, I found a trick: when the first clip of the opening, I have this question pending Media, but (this is where it gets funny), if I do not play the clip, just stay on the first image and opened a second immediately, then the second he wouldn't issue pending media. As long as I stayed on frame 1 of each clip, I could open the following without any problem. Then, once I browse these "open first" clip, they would play fine, without delay. But once again, if I went a little further and opened a new clip (not was previously opened), I have to go through 30 seconds of waiting media again. F * boring. But, I just had to open all the clips before you start editing, and then it would work.

  But now, I have a very similar problem when I edit more on. Especially if I have several sequences, whenever I have switch from one sequence to another, it would take several seconds before the video (on the drive program) would appear. Most of the time, the player stays black, but a few times, I got the screen media on hold again.

  Then, once these data are transmitted, the reading is in every sense. The most common problem is that the video playback, but if I press the stop, the stop of the cursor on the timeline (the UI reacts to what I do), but the video continues to play... and I can press stop like a maniac, he stops playing like 20 seconds later... The user interface reacts again, I can navigate the menus etc... but just video continues to play. I have to wait a few seconds before you can start working again.

  I tried a lot of things: change the images on another disk, updating video drivers. I suspect that it is related to a relatively new cause of the function, that I never had these problems on previous creations (the 2014.2 of the pre version). But now, I just missed the deadline of a client today because the program has been so slow. You can imagine that I feel a little stressed.
  Let me know if you've been through things like this before, or if you had an idea where it may come, I would greatly appreciate your help!

  Hey guys, I just come to take stock of my situation in case it might help other people.
  I have found little to chance, but I started using CC to create my offline instead of RedCine-X files. It is not a perfect solution, because they has some options that I used in RCX I did not cc.
  But basically, what I did is:

  -import all original R3D files in first. If I try to import them directly into Media Encoder, it breaks down for some reason any. But in the first it works, you must go to your folder of images and looking for file 001.R3D (cause when the files are too big/long RED them divided in XXXX001. R3D, XXXX002. R3D and first few duplicates in deadlines, as well as the 001.R3D are useful)

  - then in the project window, I select all and export, which sends to the Media Encoder without crashing

  -a from there, I create exactly the same format that I used to do in RCX, so DNxHD 36 in a containing MXF.

  and for some reason any, once I have import in first CC, these files do not have the problems that the MXFs had when they came to RCX: no delay, no current media * etc...
  so for now it works...

• Question about joining and separating some simple traces

  Hello, I have a vector image of a logo and here to recreate the 'e' appearing in the image here without the missing gap, where a picture point used to be.  I'm fairly inexperienced in Illustrator and seeks advice on the best way to associate this zone in the most simple way and smoother appearance possible.

  Further, since I will use this to get an effect of masking in Flash, I would like to know how I can separate the areas of intersection on the left side of the "e", so it appears as a worm - like single line/swoosh.

  Assuming that there is no question pending of the copyright, you can:

  (1) cut each of the anchors away with the scissors tool.

  (2) join each part of the path by dragging on the Anchor Points to attach with the direct Selection tool and CTRL / Cmd + J, now you straght join parts with corner at both ends Points;

  (3) ClickDrag every Coner Point with the tool convert point of anchor (the pen tool launcher) to get the right curves, it may take a few tries until you get them right.

  You can cut the tail where it joins the back of the e with the scissors tool. (you can repeat 2) and 3) If you want to join the pieces with curves.

  Always work on a copy when you destroy work.

  With regard to a friend MA877LL iMac OS upgraded to "Maverick" resulting in many gels and questions pending: I'm back to 10.6.8. It is useless for Pro Apps of any kind . We are only interested in the use of the original Email Client comes with Snow Leopard and the internet. We try to avoid more questions and to stay within 10.6.8

  Formatting is not a problem - I have all the necessary drives for 10.6.8 and will download and install the update from the drop-down list 10.6.8

  If we are unable to update to Safari to 'use ' standards (always in the 10.6.8), can we just use another browser (unless 10.6.8)? Mozilla for Mac?

• Power saving mode stops my PC after a few minutes of play Eve, an online game. How can I fix this?

  Power save comes into play after a few minutes of play Eve, an online game.   I then have to manually turn off the PC before it can be restarted.  I adjusted the power settings on the PC and it happens to sleep.  I contacted Dell and downloaded a difficulty that has not worked.  I have a question pending for Eve support staff, but thought that I can get a fix here.

  Check power Panel ctrl if win xp, and together turn it off hard drive option never, you can also disable the screen saver, disable standby of the system or in Hibernate besides.

• Effects of the use of EF lens and a EF-S camera crop factor calculations.

  I've been reading about sensors APS - C and the differences between EF and EF-S objectives.

  I have two questions pending about how the EF-S-objectives are marketed.

  (1) objectives EF - S need to have the factor of 1.6 x applied for effective focal length or are they marked correctly since they can only be used in APS - C cameras?

  FOR EXAMPLE my 17-40mm 4 L EF lens is actually a 27, 2-64mm when used in a camera to mount EF-S due to the 1.6 x factor.

  So a first objective 60 mm EF-S would in fact be similar to a 60mm EF lens first in terms of focal length and 'zoom' level of the image? Or she also apply the crop factor and actually be a focal length of 96mm?

  (2) are there other attributes of a lens EF you must apply a conversion when using in an EF-S mount? Side f-stop?

  Designation is fashoned it was for 35 mm cameras and the crop factor is not considered in appointing focal length / range of lenses if they have an EF or EF-S mount. a 60 mm is a 60 mm.

• PCI simple communication

  Hi all.

  I have a Hp Nc6220 I again return to the sources to one new disk (other die) we found all my drivers except the infamous drivers PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATION because I guess the modem. While this works fine without it I don't want any question pending in my Device Manager folder.

  I tried all the stuff normal but unable to find including the Hp site (exceptionally)

  I try to save a MX300 or EX90 on a VCS - C. I created an account of local database for devices and endpoints, I use as a guardian of the VCS - C. But that's all I got:

  The strange thing is that if I look on VCS - C in the event log, I see no entry for this devices. I tried with a MCU and I saw 'registration rejected' in the journal of the events of VCS - C but for these devices I see anything in the event log.

  You should not configure MX300/EX90 to register on UCM and VCS as SIP UA that these SIP UA take only supported the unique configuration of SIP profile.

  It is very dependent on your deployment of conference, but you must save these SIP UA on UCM or VCS and have SIP trunk between these two control calls in the order to the delivery of the appeal or as Martin mentioned already register these SIP UA on UCM. Then also register on the CV under H.323 Endpoint.

  Please note, if you have E20 or other AU SIP that support multiple SIP profile configuration, you can save these SIP UA on UCM and VCS but as different SIP UA (and select line SIP at the launch of the call to determine what SIP proxy to use).

  My impressions...

  Cropping, not a problem. The 4 k proportions are identical to 1080 16:9, so it's very well, I am delighted that the people of the camera stayed most of the time with the same proportions.

  Most XAVC-S appeared to have settled down, and AVCHD is fine as long as you download & correctly is important. Using "set to sequence" we retains all the biggest file resolution and can even zoom in a bit of a sequence of 1080 with 4 k media without losing quality. "Scale to" means PrPro dimensionnera media until the resolution of the sequence... so if you try to reduce up to will you become issues. Just use 'the value' always.

  If you are transcoding, suggest to use Cineform or DNxHD/R, the last using the mxf 'wrapper' such that it is much better than the QuickTime wrapper.

  Are you facing this problem after the 5.5U3? I have a the same problem and the workaround below worked for me.

  1. SSH into the ESXi host

  2. navigate to the directory where the virtual machine is running.

  3. create the folder in the virtual machine directory called BAK - UP

  4 move the swap file (vmname.vswap) to the BAK - UP directory, ignore the vswap named vmx-vswap.

  5. the virtual machine to a different host VMotion.

• Workflow and issue composition

  I have images of 22 cameras, GoPro, mp4, I imported natively into AE (11,02, OS 10.8.3 Mac 2.66 mhz Quad tour 16 g of RAM) in 1 composition.  I intend to achieve the desired effect and exit then a codec production, prores 422 for inclusion in my first project timeline.  Is this a valid workflow?

  Following the issue of membership:

  Most of the 22 cameras (in a table) recorded two or more files of the 16 mintes of execution, (there are 6 a separated in that time).  Before, I wrote these film files (after aligning a slate and for each layer continuous playback) to neaten up upwards and make more compact my calendar of EI.

  The effect I'm trying to achieve is a time-Slice/Bullet Time where I can "cut" one camera to the other throughout the Bay, thus freezing the action, but having the 'camera' move topic - and then the last layer/camera continue to play.  Specific I want to freeze, I set the opacity of each layer 0 successively to preview it help "freeze point" However in my ram only the first layer plays images.  Without the transformation of opacity to each layer, I can make a rough version of what I'm trying to do this solo ' ing each individual layer and I can't understand why making it each opacity of layer 0 successively does not work.

  Also once I have finished all the transformations of the opacity, the lower layer must be visible 1 framework after the layer above it goes to the opacity of the O, but actually, it's BLACK!  What the devil?

  Should I drag each image layer 1 forward in reading an image so only 1 of each layer?  Once again "turn on and turn off" each layer with an opacity?  I found the answer to this question, at least for now.  Each successive clip gets cut to the desired picture, then slipped a picture in front of the upper layer (save the top layer, which is reduced to the image).  In this way the same frame plays again and again with each camera along the Bay.

  I made a mistake using the comps pre mixed with the film 1 - taking?  In other words, my main computer now includes preliminary comps of the 2 files produced by most devices, as well as the original footage from these cameras mp4 that has recorded only a single file for the action.

  And further; Once I have the visible images in the correct sequence would be I before dial again and apply a sfx as displacement of the pixels to interpolate between the difference/door frames due to the difference of the position of each camera?  Please suggest another stream of work or layout composition!

  Let me comment on one thing here:

  Here's the deal. The CTI is at the beginning of a frame. This means that if you look at the value for this image, you will see the actual values for this image. If you set 0 then it is the value of the image, you are on, not the next image. If you have a top to the frame 105 layer opacity 0 value and the layer directly beneath it also set to 0 then the two frames are 0. It's logical.

  I think that you go about it the wrong way. You do a lot of work for yourself that you don't need to do. If you have all your synchronized layers and in the left right order to the right and you want to make a gel frame 200 then set the CTI to frame 200, divide all layers, then move all the new layers to the top of the comp and select them. This can be done with three keystrokes. [Ctrl/Cmnd + A to select all the layers, Ctrl / Cmnd + D to split all selected layers, Ctrl/Cmnd +] to move all layers to the top.

  Now, use Ctrl/Cmnd + right arrow to move an image to the right and repeat the procedure. An easy way to mark these executives cut for easy selection would be to define a color label group. Select all the layers above the initial allocation (your layers of the image and the upper layers) and choose Animation > keyframe Assistant > sequence layers. Now the first layer above the layers of single frame, snap the CTI to that layer by pressing on the I have key, put a chronological marker, select all the layers above the layers of the unique image and press Shift + Alt/Option + the home line up on the first image and then catch them and hold down the SHIFT key to align ICT while dragging.

  That's all. It takes about 10 seconds. Now you can compost before this lot all over and put in place any interpolation or the time-remapping that you want in the precomp.

  I am delayed the process of installing expected where my Installer hyp OpenLDAP and HabNet web application failure and everything (foundation & essbase components) installed successfully.
  
  The assumption is that most configuration is required other that select the features to install AD LDS, including .net, IIS 7.0 with 6.0 for Windows Server 2008 compatibility.
  So the questions pending install successfully, my thoughts are as follows:
  (1) I think that the AD LDS instance that is created (successfully) must have a successful connection to something and don't know what yet.
  (2) in addition, believe something must be configured with the IIS 6.0 Manager and don't know what it is yet.

  Version 11 don't is not yet supported on windows server 2008, and I know there are problems if you try and install on it.
