After that know I need windows 7, I bought it online. I created a partition of 80g on my mac charge windows 7, then norton. Until I loaded the office that I was invited to perform the update from apple in the windows software 7. Note before I installed norton, I load boot camp mac utilities according to the instructions. So, followed by all as should be. The prompt update from apple was quick time, iTunes and airport, I checked all and then updated. Then I loaded office 2010 and obtained throughout the process from the Microsoft site. On the last part of the installation, the installation failed due to a mistake of hanging iTunes. I tried again and again, I fixed the update to iTunes to add and remove the section of windows. Then, I got different errors. I decided to remove the whole score without uninstalling all programs again. When I get to the windows live, that this falls priming. I get various error messages whenever I try to start the process. As a header of Bank pool, fatal error and so on. Can anyone help? What is the damage?

• Question about snapshots and virtual machines

  I have a small question about snapshots. I use VMware for about 6 months and I read about snapshots and how they work but still have a question to make sure that I understand how it works and it will work the way I think it works.

  I have a Windows 2003 server, which is a virtual machine. I have an application that uses MSDE database. I want to upgrade the database to MS SQL 2005, but to do this I need to back up the MSDE database, uninstall MSDE, and then install SQL 2005 and move the SQL database. This happens on the same VM.

  What I was thinking if I well Snapshots correctly is to snap turned the virtual machine before doing anything. Then do my upgrade steps and see if everything works. If its all messed up so I should be able to return to my shot and everything should be the way he had. What is the good? One of the main reasons I moved the server VM was because of this upgrade.

  Exactly the same thing for the upgrades of the OS.

  Perhaps the most important thing with the snapshots is to keep an eye on them and don't let them sit too long or become too big.  You have described the use cases are very good uses for snapshots.  Just make sure you have a solid plan with a schedule set, so that you can come back or validate changes before the snapshot becomes too large.

• ACS 5 - question about monitoring and report

  I have one primary-secondary drawing using DCC 5, and everything works smootlhy. I have some doubts and did some research, but nothing was clear enough on this subject:

  -Why am I not able to access the visualizer reports & surveillance of my secondary box? When I do that, I get redirected to connect to the main box. Is this expected behavior?

  -If Yes, what should I do if my main box breaks down?  Should I manually promote my primary secondary box? Or y at - it a way to allow the two ACS for these newspapers?

  -Another situation: my box main breaks down in the middle of the night and I only notice the morning.  What happens in the newspapers at the moment? Are they lost?

  Hi Victor,

  If you are unable to access the visualizer reports & surveillance in your secondary zone and are rerouted to connect with the main box. This is expected behavior if your backend is defined as collector of newspaper.
  A primary server or one of the secondary servers can function as a logging server. The logging server receives logs of the primary and all secondary servers of the ACS in the deployment.
  You can also configure another server as a Syslog server (ex Syslog target remote server) in addition to the logcollector.

  The newspaper collector failover process is not automated and manual. If your collector journal defined as main server goes down, you can then promote the secondary server in the primary and then manually set as a collector: ACS GUI > System Administration > Configuration > Configuration of logs > Log Collector
  A possible workaround for this problem solution is to assign one of the ACS secondary servers under the supervision and report server according to the Cisco documentation links included below.

  For a situation with main server configured as collector of newspaper is down, registration will be unavailable as a result of this proceeding.

  For db/corruption issues, if you have valid backups before the failure, you would be able to use the rollback feature to have information before the acs services down.

  Mac does not come with Adobe Reader, they come with a program called Preview. The best way to know which version is on a given computer is to ask the owner! If the owner does not know that they can select the file and then on the file menu or by typing the command - I they can activate the command read information that will produce a window with the version information and much more.

• Questions about Acer Recovery (long story, simple question)

  I recently came across a pretty annoying problem with my Acer Aspire 7560 notebook computer G. First of all, I hope this is the right section to ask the question on this model in particular, if this not is not please forgive me. In addition, for TL; DR scroll all the way down.

  The issue I had was that programs would fail / refuse to start. Zune opening, steam or even just try to open a picture in Windows Photo Viewer either did nothing at all, or the program would look like it began only to then disappear completely (sometimes, but not often, accompanied by an error message saying that the program has stopped working). The laptop still start well, I can browse my directories, internet access, run certain programs, but not others (kkkkk emulator Android works very well, for example). I decided that the best thing for me to do was reset to the factory. Boy I was wrong.

  I backed up all my personal files on an external hard drive, so the laptop is ready to be reset. First problem I encountered was that do anything during startup caused me a BIOS password. I did not create one, so it must be the default, and it wasn't really all that difficult to get rid (I used a bootable USB key with clnpwd, just follow the instructions). Then I entered the BIOS, but whenever I get alt + f10 to work and load the Recovery Manager, invites a message indicating that I have to wait for the operating system to load. After that start the laptop, and nothing changes.

  I discovered that I probably haven't installed Acer eRecovery utility, because I had to replace a HARD drive defective just now. If at this point, I tried to not get these files to http://us-store.acer.com/erecovery/rcd/ no chance. When you enter SNID or show, it always returns "we have found the serial number entered. Uppercase or lowercase do not make a difference. I'm sure that number I entered is correct, however, because when I use it to search in http://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/drivers it is my laptop model immediately. So, what gives? I'm not sure.

  If I can't get the support of Acer recovery soon, I might have to resort to completely reinstall my OS (Windows 7 Home Premium) for the device. Problem is that I don't have a disk for it. I thought to download an ISO and that copy on a bootable USB key, so I went Microsoft Web https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 site I found the product key with a simple .vbs file, but alas, because the OS came preinstalled, which won't help me. At this point, I'm getting impossible to reacquire the Acer recovery as well as Microsoft methods. If this doesn't help, I might have to resort to some Windows 7 disc torrent download, but I'm not too happy with this prospect for obvious reasons. I don't even know if I could activate my product code, and I don't trust those "cracks".

  Customer support was no help, in the end, they just referred me to a local retailer and gave me an estimate on the time and money it would take to get things resolved. Too long and too expensive, but that's just my opinion. I'll just go come and clean install my OS.

  I downloaded everything from http://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/drivers to my device (because, my SNID worked) for additional safety. ISO file is almost finished downloading, I'll probably do a last post here when all is set and done. That way, if anyone ever find this thread, they know that what might work.

  Hi, I try to wear the IT hat and works to clear up some questions on my mother's computer.  #1 I guess that the computer was shipped with a version of Corel Photo software on it and we cannot get rid "Installer" messages at the beginning upward.  We tried to remove the program and the same message comes back to tell us that "Installer can do the requested action without the CD/program files" it gets about 6 of these reviews that it must close any until the computer will continue to boot the system.  Please, please tell me how to get rid of this.  I tried to install the 'Installer' update to see if that would make the difference and nope.  I also tried to remove the Corel file via CCleaner and got the same message.  I do not have the program disc, I don't want to program... I want to just get rid of it!

  #2 when entering address in the Internet Explorer address bar, the browser opens a second browser instead of going to the requested site.  For example, when I open my Internet Explorer and say go to the top of the address bar and typewww.google.com, instead of going to Google, it opens a completely separate browser.  When she did this, it's EXTREMELY SLOW!  until you think that IE went unresponsive and then finally opens the second browser.

  I'd appreciate any help!  I'm trying to solve these problems, while I'll be staying here so that I can leave him a computer running.

  It was in the original thread Java, decided that it should be easier in the separate thread.

  A simple uninstall will get rid of Java, or leftovers to stick around. After picking up the Live safety scanner fake Trojan or whatever it is, I did some scans online in addition to MMFA, who got rid of him in a quick scan and SAS, and Windows Defender. You don't know if AntiVir would be cleaned, but MBAM it in the short term.   even if java uninstaller leaves behind some errant registry entries, I don't know that it's worth trying to go after them.   [For example, I found a Web page since java itself which talks about how to change the registry in case"Java icon is still visible in the Panel hasthat almost have Java is uninstalled".   [I have purposely not cited this link here, because I don't recommend editing the registry and don't want to be responsible for all the problems if they try to do.]

• question about SQL and VMDK places

  I'm confused on the locations of the files for sql.

  At this moment I have 1 with 3 vmdk files sql server executes a muscular 100 GB sql database.

  My disks are as follows

  1 OPERATING SYSTEM

  2 DB

  3 newspapers

  They are all thick and they are all stored with the virtual machine in the virtual machine configuration.

  It lies in a cluster HA/DRS and we use them both.

  The question boils down to performance.

  If my VM is stored on DATASTORE_A and the VM folder on this data store has all the VMDK files in it, it would be safe to say that they are all on the same disk as much as vsphere is concerned.

  Now to get best performance, I want to separate my VMDK files to separate data (with faster operation) warehouses to avoid conflicts of drive on my current data store. What is the right way to go about this?

  How separate you your VMDK to other data warehouses, and enjoy other performance data store? WE do not use DTS at all so im sure it although we use HA/DRS in our group... and yet, I don't think that it is important in this case... just more of an FYI.

  What do you do to get your SQL servers to run in vmware?

  'S virtually done it with VMDK but the data store underlying is 1 speed and they all exist on this subject, so... How to separate them at that level for best performance?

  Yes, the VM configuration file (.) VMX) will be modified to point to the new location of the virtual disk. You can use the virtual machine property editor to check for this, once the Storage vMotion.

  Yes, the virtual controller is correct.

  As long as your operating system is supported, go with the PVSCSI every time - especially for newspapers and the controller file data.
