QuickTime high resolution. MOV to DVD files

I am currently using first Elements 10. My current project settings are 720 p 60.  Although I'm finally comfortable dvd burning and Blu - ray in the first, the last festival I want to enter requires a Quicktime .mov on dvd. I followed up with them as to why I can't just burn a traditional disc to play on a dvd player and they said that their procedure is to watch the movie from a Mac, projected on a tv screen bg.  So my question is... can do this in Premiere Elements? So even if it's on a dvd, can I while maintaining the 720 p resolution?  (it's a short, 10-minute long and so, within the space of a traditional dvd storage.)  Looks like I need to do the equivalent of a data cd, but put it on a dvd? Do I need to export a .mov to the elements as a next step?

I just posted my response when I saw the exchange of messages between you and John.

Have you ever exported a QuickTime movie in first items 10 (hand, computer, QuickTime)?

If this is the case, then catch up...

a. make sure that you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with the first items 10

b. go To Share/computer/and scroll to the bottom of the list of choices using the thin scroll right of choices bar.

If you can't find it, I'll post a screenshot. If you scroll not in this list, all you will see is

Adobe Flash Video

MPEG

AVCHD

Please let us know if you're OK with the above information.

Thank you.

  • A small animation for export of a high-resolution movie - problem.

    Hi all

I got myself deeply in this issue and I would like someone to get me any type of solution.

You know when you've spent days days working on something for a client, the deadline is yesterday and suddenly, it seems that this is going to lose and the client will kill you?

    This kind of problem.

I'm almost done work this short cartoon and the plan is that export to a movie file. Of course, this must be high resolution (at least 720) and must stay all sounds.

I stupidly chose to work in the document of 640 x 360 size, thinking it will make my pc work faster. I created all in vectors, so do not see why, that shouldn't make me export a video of any size.

Some research I've done suggests that I am out of luck here. Can I export of larger size than the original, but it's all "pixelated" and nasty looking.

Seems to me that the only solution is to increase the size of the document and start enlargin of hundreds of layers one by one. This would - case best screenplay - cost me a few days of work, but most would probably ruin the animation and get me stuck.

It's really something that I think is super easy to do, so I hope that my case is not altogether lost.

Anyone have any good ideas for me?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Unable to save my movie in high resolution using Movie Maker 2.6 (Win 7)

    Hello:

I spent a ton of time and produced a slide show of wedding for the wedding of my daughter with overlay of music and various transitions. After all that work, I can't save my project in the movies high resolution using Movie Maker 2.6. I tried to go up to 512K Broadband (except option). But anything on this resolution, the film becomes black at some point. But you can still here the music. Why? Is it possible to go to resolutions higher for a slide show of bin? It is a powerful laptop with plenty of memory.

I have closed all other applications. Uncontrolled codec / file type compatibility etc. No difference. BTW, the file does not transfer or open to the latest Live Movie Maker help. That might have been a solution.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Beautiful images high resolution in photoshop look looking terribly pixelated when scaled down in movement 5... How can I avoid this?

I'm working on a project with a customer logo and title... both are downloaded from the internet in high resolution and crisp and wonderful look in Photoshop. However, when I drop in my 1, 080 x 1, 080 5 movement project and adapts them to the size, they must be in animation, all this freshness becomes terribly pixelated.

It looks like a problem of aliasing to me... the text generated by movement in my document looks great, so I guess that's not a draft too low resolution (1, 080 x 1, 080 seems high enough resolution for me!). I'm fairly new to Motion, so I feel like there's just something obvious that I forget... any help is appreciated!

If the logos are available on the internet, please post a link to one or more of them, then we can see what the issue might be. The only way (in general) occurs in images pixelation is if the scale becomes higher than 100%. Which can happen even if you are down, but with the help of a camera view revision or position Z to make the image appear closer.

Is there something else on the project involving a zoom, positioning, and/or put across?

  • Windows Movie Maker & DVD Maker stop responding when you import a .avi file

    Help, please.

The two Windows Movie Maker DVD Maker & allow me to import .avi files I ask, but then I get a message that the program has stopped working. I have Windows Vista Home Premium and I a novice in computer science.

    Hello

    ·        Have you been able to import before avi files to your Windows movie maker and the creation of DVD?

    ·        You are able to import another file without any problem format?

Try to import another file type (format) and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

Damaged codec is often a cause of crashes with Windows Movie Maker and Windows DVD Maker.

If possible, use a program to convert your Windows Media movies first and then try to import it.

    Step 2:

If the movie maker was working properly before, I suggest you to reset the windows movie maker settings. Follow the steps in the article mentioned below.

I have some pretty high resolution still panoramas I want to move from left to right, but when I resize the image to fit the image, the resolution drops to an unacceptable level. Is this possible? John

Make sure that before you add this photo to your project, you go to the preferences (under the Edit on a PC) and uncheck the default scale to the size of the image.

Scaling of artificially reduced image size your photo - no matter how large - the size of your video image, make detailed pans and zooms like your impossible. When it is not checked, your photo will be in full resolution and you will only see a small part of it in the preview window.

That said, don't forget that you work at video resolution, so some details will be lost. (Less so, if you change video high-def). And, of course, don't forget to make your timeline after you have added your pans and zooms to see a better representation of what your final video will look like.

  • Import of high-resolution images of ArcGIS (PC) to Illustrator C4 (Mac)-"Cannot take place due to an error" / "the file size is too big.

I make a great conference poster that will contain images of ArcGIS. The poster will be 92 "x 42" and Imaging will cover 91 by 22 in the page. The problem is that I need very high resolution for imaging, but illustrator won't import my files. I use ArcGIS 10.3 on Windows 10 and Illustrator C4 with OS X 10.11.1 (El Capitan). I was not able to import any .tiff file into illustrator (is this possible?) and I get "cannot take place due to an error" or "the file is too big" errors when I try to put .jpeg, .png, .ai files exported from the GIS. I think that the problem is due to the differentoperating systems, rental However, can I open and edit (resize etc.) files in preview without any problem, so there is also a problem with Illustrator. The files that I use are more than 150 MB at 300 dpi, but I really prefer to use 600 dpi, Illustrator can't handle these files sizes? I don't want to lose the resolution using .jpeg, .pdf, etc., many types of compression will cause problems with vector layers from ArcGIS.  Please notify!

Update your AICS4 to something with the ability to access more than 3 GB of memory RAM as CS6 or above. You'll never work with CS4, at least not to the resolution as you seem to think you need. Indeed, you could probably use 150ppi or the bottom of the poster and not obviously nothing to lose. And for the record, I worked for 17 years for the USGS working with ARCGIS and AI.

  • Is it possible to burn more high resolution of 720 x 480 on a DVD?

    Hi friends

I have a FullHD camcorder and I use Adobe first Pro CC to edit my videos.

I heard you DVD media are able to support recording videos in a maximum resolution of 720 x 480 pixels, and it is also the rule for desktop DVD players as that is connected to my TV.

I would like to know if it is possible to record videos on DVD by using a higher resolution than DV (720 x 480), at HD or same FullHD.

If this is possible, how could export my Premiere Pro sequences to send to the reminder and burn correctlly?

Thanks a lot for the clarification

    Gustavo.

    Hi Gustavo,

I would like to know if it is possible to record videos on DVD by using a higher resolution than DV (720 x 480), at HD or same FullHD.

For DVDs, no. For Blu - Ray, Yes. However, you need a Blu - ray burner and a drive for this.

    Kind regards

  • How can ensure me that the photos in my InDesign files are high resolution, when I send these files to a colleague? (Keep as .indd)

I quit my job and we've been download all my files on Google Drive InDesign to prepare, so that my boss/employees can use and access my work. My boss has found that it cannot download the files without the pictures in documents turns out to be super low resolution. It is not just the screen on his computer (although they don't LOOK really terrible). They also print in very low resolution. I can print and view the SAME files in high resolution, when I work on my computer, and when I export documents in PDF, JPEG, PNG, etc and THEN give him the files, they are at the appropriate resolution. Who did all well and dandy, but... Given that I'm the only designer on staff, and I'm going, I'll be able to deliver my documents to my boss/employees. Help? Thank you!

Yes, it would have to be reprinted.

Where are the pictures of the original publication stored? When you compress all these images must be collected in a folder where your save file compressed. What is this copied or moved folder structure of (new machine, a different location on a local disk, dropbox, etc.), ID will need to be re-edited them once again, when the publication is open.

But the structure of the folder must be copied on computer the boss', not only the file ID. If you all are not configured to use the exact same dropbox folder system and work from it.

  • Export the file to print to ultra-high resolution settings: 5000 dpi, 1x1cm

I have a series of files for each with an artboard of 1024 x 1024, with different patterns on each of them.

I need to export it to print at ultra-high resolution (5000 dpi, with a size of about 1 cm x 1 cm) to be used with a particular kind of new technology of micro-optique.

How to export the vector images to display properly for printing to a specific Department and a specific size?

    rutipo,

The relationship between the size of the image in pixels, the resolution of the image in DPI (pixels per inch) and the size of the actual image in inches, is as follows:

Actual size pixel = PPP x.

If you have 5000 PPI at a size of 1 cm or 1/2.54 inches, you need a pixel size of the 5000 * 1/2.54, or just 5000/2.54 = 1968.504 and something (in this cae, she is not a whole number.

Up to 2000 x 2000 pixels will be sufficient.

It is worth noting that for some uses, as png for web use, the final pixel x pixel size must exactly match the size of deired.

  • Creation of files Quicktime high definition

I have a project which was shot in P2.   The film is 720 p (I * think.* I'm not too high on high definition I should be.)  The files are 960 x 720 with an aspect ratio 1.3333 to 23.976 FPS).  The client requested a file Quicktime high definition they want to play on their laptop and not a blu - ray disc.  Should what settings I use in Media Encoder to achieve?

My best guess is to use the h.264 codec and manually set the transmission to its maximum speed.   However, if I put the Quicktime file, output plug to match the profile of the P2 sequence, it reads too large and not wide enough in my Quicktime player.  Through experimentation, I found that if I put the output at 1280 x 720, with a pixel aspect ratio of 'pixels square,' he locomotives right when I play the file in my Quicktime player.  But something tells me that there is a better way.

To return to my original question - media Adobe encoder reaches a file Quciktime high definition and if so, how?

    J. D.

Your approach to 1280 x 720 square pixels is good. QuiRcktime has problems with the other aspect ratios, this is your best approach.

First of all, I am intrigued, reason for which you want to create a single large video file into smaller files make it easier when it comes to video editing. If you want to create the backup, it is another matter, but the files are still separated.

This comment, please describe the tool/utility that you use to merge the small files in a large. I suspect that it is a form of video/DVD editor?
Note that the VOB (on DVD) files have a specification to keep up to approximately 1 GB maximum file size and maybe it's what you're watching?

The other important thing, it's how your external hard drive is formatted? FAT32? NTFS?

There are a few important unknowns and provide more information to get more help.

Just in case this applies to you, if you want to save a whole DVD, what you should look for is tools to convert DVD to ISO format files (so that you can always get back them on DVD) or possibly WinZip archive (I have not tested it for restoration to DVD media).

    I hope this helps.

  • Can I use still images high resolution in Keynote?

Prepare a presentation in Keynote that requires a lot of photos/movies - it is to be broadcast from an international conference in the world.  So I don't want to spoil.

I have some high resolution photos (the originals were RAW, I converted them to PNG).  I want to build my speech with the high-resolution PNG, or what I want to batch convert to JPEG before their insertion in the speech?  What would be an optimal size by peak.  There are probably about 100 stills or so, more than a dozen of short films (that's an hour and a half presentation I think).

Or, if I don't use a high-resolution PNG (15-20 megs), is there a function in Keynote, which reduces the size of the files?

And, if so, I'm better batch convert PNG to JPEG, or simply use the PNG and let Keynote optimization?

For movies I'll all convert H264 (same resolution - 1920 x 1080 - Keynote presentation using the same optimal data rate that you would use for Vimeo).

    All ears,

    Ben

Size of the images to match the slide size in Keynote;   in this case, they should be 1920 x 1080 pixels

because they are PNG files keep than

Convert a batch of images as follows:

Open all of the batch of images in preview

Select all the thumbnails in the sidebar - click on an image in the sidebar then (Command-A)

on the Tools menu, choose Adjust size

use the custom size and enter 1929 x 1080

    Save

Place the images in Keynote, as follows: drag all the images in the browser (the sidebar on the left) and a new slide will be created for each image, centered and scaled to full screen

If images are larger than the size of slide, they look better, they simply more space

If the images are smaller than the size of slide, they will reduce in quality
