Ram SA60-332 problem

I have a Satellite SA30-332 with a memory of 256 MB but the bios and the windows system information shows that the memory is only 192 MB. In addition, the computer runs very slowly especially at startup. Can someone help me solve this problem.
Thank you.

Hello

your Satellite A30-332 has a video card with shared memory! either your video card has no own graphics RAM so that it shares the RAM with the memory of 'normal '!

The A30 has an Intel 852GM chipset with integrated graphics. Intel 852GM has a dynamic RAM that passes automatically from 32 to 64 MB if more graphic strength is used!

Don't care not so much, it's alright!

On slow start up I need practical information to help you! What operating system and Ms are installed (recovery or own MS OS). In what order the laptop is slow, before or after this logon? How long it persists?

Bye Bob

    Hello
I have a SA60-332, and it is very slow at startup. In August 2004, I bought the laptop with Windows XP Home edition is installed. I scanned the disc Defragmenter and scanned for viruses, but it seems that there is no problem. The computer seems to take ages at first upward after the connection and once all programs are loaded, it works fine.
Anyone know what to do to make it faster?
Thank you and happy new year.

    Hi mitsou,.

There are few opportunities to make the faster boot process. I always do the following steps:

    1. check that you have selected to load at startup...
    Click Start > run
    type msconfig > ok
Go to the Startup tab and remove the 'tick' among the boxes of the programs that you don't need to run at startup. some of them might be causing a long loading time

    2. turn off all hardware components in the device manager that you don't need (e.g., Modem, SD Card Controller)

If this doesn t work then let know us. :))

  • Satellite A80 129 DVD-RAM write speed problem

    Hi all!

I have a problem. the thing is that I want to write in NERO 6 (last version purchased) a CD or DVD, but we will only write to me at slow speeds. In this laptop I MAST * a DVD-RAM UJ-830 s with DVD-R 8 x and 24 x CD - R write speed said.

When I try to write on a CD it gives me only 16 x write speed, then where is x 24? It goes same for DVD, as I want to burn DVDs and it gives me only 2 x write speed.

Please, do not put this fault on a CD or DVD, cause in my country there are limited suppliers of this type of media, so I won't change my media. They worked with my previous PC CD - RW fine, no speed problem.

I want to know also if this is lack of DVD - RAM, where then find firmware for this burner?

    Thanks for your replies.

You should try to update nero, it might solve the problem.

  • Windows 7 RAM and CPU problem

Last week, I was playing League of legends and I was in the middle of a match, during the match, the client is crushed and restart windows because he had needed updating. After the update, I open League of legends to start my computer. And it took like 10 minutes usually, it takes about 30 seconds. Then when I've finally got back in the game you the fps went from 60 (before the update) to 12 (after the update). So I decided to look at the Task Manager, and it took up to 99% of the CPU. I reinstalled the game, the FPS was always the same, but he was faster. I tried to open my browser google chrome, it took a good 2 minutes. The CPU and ram, however, was very good. So I opened up a little more of my games and they are starting to take a lot of memory and CPU. I ran my full analysis of the 360 North, no viruses. I've done sfc/scannow, nothing wrong. I think scvhost programs might be the problem because when I analyze wait chain on my programs that take up a lot ran and CPU it is still a program scvhost in there. Help me please, this update of windows did the damage.

    Hello

You can try to follow the following suggestions to solve the problem.

Measures to reduce the use of CPU.

1 - Press 'Ctrl', 'Shift', 'Esc' on your keyboard. This opens the task without any intermediate screen Manager.

2 - Click on the "process" button in the Task Manager.

3 - Click the "CPU" column heading up to what the arrow next to the label down points.

4-click on a program you recognize who is using a high percentage of the CPU and click ' end process.» Click on "complete the process"reconfirm.» This facilitates upward on the load of the CPU. Use this step if you are not using a process, or the process is not responding. Do not use this procedure for windows processes.

  • RAM with Y550P problem

    Hello world.

    SHORT VERSION:

I have a Y550P with Windows 7 64 bit and it says I have 4 GB but only 1.99 GB can be used. Is it acceptable that she says? Is there a way I can have use all 4 GB?

    LONG VERSION:

I just bought a lenovo Y550P and everything was fine until what I checked properties system under WIndows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit. Where it showed that I had 2 GB of RAM when the laptop is supposed to get 4 GB. So I checked the BIOS and showed it to 2048 MB (2 GB) which led me to believe that it was a BIOS issue. I downloaded the latest version of the BIOS from the lenovo support site and installed correctly.

He showed 4096 MB in the BIOS, which I was happy to see. Started in Windows fine then checked system properties and Task Manager and I was disappointed to see "4,00 (1.99 GB usable) GB in properties system and total physical memory in the task manager has been '2038'.

Windows Experience Index gives my memory a 5.5 when it is supposed to get a 7.3 or more? I hear that Windows has some memory funky remapping feature that could do it. Could this be it? If Yes, how can I I turn it off? If this isn't the case, then what could be the cause to say that only 1.99 GB are usable?

    Thanks in advance.

  • HP Pavilion DV7 6b78us: Ram already, improved problem maybe?

My computer works flawlessly can do more things without being slow and software works like a breeze, but before I had 6 GB of ram it was 90 to 95 percent, but now that I have 16GB I taught he would stay to 5 or 6 GB of ram im acually using 8 GB of ram without the software , I use, tahts 50%. I opened resourse screen to try to find out why so many used... idk if I should me worried, but I saw him gradually replace 4 GB to 8 GB. When I had 6 GB, it would remain to 4 GB which was the avarage laptop use without the software. Do you have any idea what's going on. the ram I got is perfect to unload for my laptop, everything works in harmony.

If you have only 6 GB and the system tries to use 8 you will hit 'swap' which is used as a hard drive memory (and slows the system down much) and you can never get back 8 or 10 or whatever. Sometimes he uses very little, so the average should be less than 6... i. e 4. Now you have 16 so if she needs to 8, 10, 12, he can use it and the average will be higher. This proves that you need more than 6 GB.

  • Replacement ram DX 2200 problem.

    Hello

I'm afraid that's not quite as simple. For others the memory provided by HP, you will need to use memory modules which are guaranteed to be compatible by the manufacturer of memory or the seller. The reason that I say that is because that the BIOS limited which makes if. As the owner of the PC dx2200, you cannot change the primary and timings secondary memory to accommodate other approved memory modules. If you've already seen the BIOS of the motherboard for a fan, you'll know exactly wat I mean. Purchase guaranteed compatible memory modules allows the manufacturer of memory and/or vendorrs do this work and takes the risk of $$$ out of your hands.

the following image is the part number for the kingston memory modules that are guaranteed compatible, but unfortunately is not supprted. This is because your PC is a discontinued model. If you can find the part number indicated it should work.

  • chip Z50-70 problem reboot / restart issue and 8 GB ram

    Salvation;
I have lenovo z50-70 notebook with Intel i7, 8GH RAM and 250 GB of kingston SSD
The bios of the laptop is v.29
I installed win 7 PRO 64-bit operating system.
The system has worked well for about 2 weeks. After this time I noticed the strange question - the laptop is unable to boot from the disk hard when restarting/rebooting the system is used. It breaks down screen goes black and then the cell phone tries to do something (Lenovo logo at all), goes down and repeat for infinity.
When the pxe boot is enabled the system constantly trying to boot from pxe. anoint and once again.
I can only close the laptop to the power button and restart. It seems that the system does not recognize the hard drive during the reboot process.
When I stopped the system (down) and leaves - everything works fine and the system starts normally without any problems.
I also noticed one other issue - the laptop does not recognize the 8 GB of ram chip. (kingston 8GB PC3 - 12800 CL11 204 pins SODIM). It is little matter if I use this RAM, alone or with other RAM - laptop chips recognize only 4 GB or 2 x 4 GB. I tested the RAM 8GH in other laptop (dell and benq) and it works fine, only Suur z50-70 a problem with it.
I don't know if the ram and restart problems are related to each other, but both of them seems to have problems hardware or bios.

    Any help will be appreciated

    Hello
I solved the problem by upgrading the SSD firmware.
I used the tool of kingston for upgrade (for ssd SV300S3 series):
    http://www.Kingston.com/us/support/technical/downloads?product=SV300S3&filename=V300_525fw_Win

The upgrade process takes a few seconds and after that, everything works fine. I've done a few reboots and I can't reproduce the problem.

  • My computer crashes randomly (usually by moving the mouse) and Microsoft, NVIDIA tried everything to fix it with no luck. Anyone having this problem? I have an Alienware Area 51 with two video cards in SLI 8800 and 4 GB of RAM.

The display freezes randomly. The Windows desktop, on the Web pages and during the games. This problem started when I had Vista and I have improved the thought that the BONE was the problem. It is not the case. I added 2 GB of the thought of RAM I need more to no luck. I have now deleted 1 graphics card and the problem persists. I deleted all software except the OS and the problem persists. When you start Windows in safe mode, that the computer does not freeze.

You are either having a video card driver problem or a ram memory stick problem.  I suggest that you check your ram and the settings in the BIOS.  Use security settings BIOS for the ram as the auto setting.  The Intels i7 have a little problem sometimes with more than one ram Strip and having the highest speed at stake.  Check this and get back with me. I have a simple philosophy: just assume everyone is a piece of c.r.a.p. and then be pleasantly surprised if you find someone who is not.

  • Problem of "Verification".

Many seem to have trouble 'check' downloads of OSX El Capitan. I have a problem check everything. I can download, but not installed, the driver for a Wacom tablet. I use instead of a mouse, so it is a quite important tool. I don't remember seeing this issue crop up before now, even if the fact is that the system has classified the pilot as "Incompatible software" at startup. It worked in any case, until now.  I'll try to zap the PRAM; I will communicate the results. BTW-I'm on a Mac Pro running 10.11.4, 32 GB of RAM. By 'problem', I mean that if I try to install the downloaded package, the 'verification' box appears and then won't go away. Hours pass. Always there.

Success. Zapping the PRAM has done, followed by a reinstall of Mac OS x by using a USB key and disk utility. Someone else suggested the zapping. It worked. Thank you.

  • Satellite Pro M15-405 - Permanent reboot cycle with 1 GB of RAM

So I have an old Satellite Pro that I needed to make it work again since its my only laptop.

I did some research and discovered that my mode has a maximum upgrade to 1 GB of RAM SODIMM. I took out the stock 256MB 266 MHz PC2100 RAM and replaced with a set of Corsair 512 MB DDR1 SODIMM 333 MHz PC2700 sticks for a total of up to 1 GB of RAM and the problem I continue to meet, it's that I can't use a barrette of 512 MB in the lower slot.
If I add the two he goes into a cycle of permanent reboot before the windows logo appears (right after the white bar loading).

How can it be solved so that I can use all the 1 GB of RAM space?

    Thank you

    Hello

Normally, the laptop should be able to handle the 1 GB of RAM, you said, but for me that it sounds like it's the new modules are not compatible with your laptop. I have good experiences with RAM Corsair in my desktop computer, but for the upgrade of my notebooks, I never used RAM Kingston.
Maybe you should try it with other modules.

In the worst cases, the other memory slot is faulty and you need to replace the motherboard :(
But I would try the other modules first.

    Welcome them

  • Satego P100-10U - can only use 3 GB instead of 4 GB of RAM

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satego P100 Notebook 10U (Modell Nr.: PSPAME - 004002GR) and now I have done an upgrade of RAM of 2 GB of RAM to 4 GB of RAM. My problem is that my Windows 7 64-bit and my 64 bit Ubuntu, do not use the full 4 GB of RAM. The OSs show me that they are 4 GB inside, but he can already use the 3 GB. BIOS has been updated to v. 4.80 and nothing happened.

Please help me if it is possible in German. My English is not very good see you ;-).

    Thank you

    Björn

    Hey,.

How much RAM will be recognized from the BIOS? He sees the full capacity of 4 GB?

Theoretically, it might be possible that some memory is reserved and used for other hardware components like graphics card or something, but if the BIOS detects the whole capacity everything is ok.
