Range of low tint of an image or a lack of transparency level without changing the tones.

Hello

I wonder if it's possible a reduction in the level of the hue of a color image.

For example, I'm a letterhead design and I want an image on background, of course, sort of tattoo paper. I tried lowing openness, and in fact, it seems ok, but just in InDesign. When I export to PDF, it seems to change the color tone.

test.jpg

As you can see, there is a difference in tone between the preview of the ID and the PDF document. In fact, I want what he as noted in ID because it fits better with the colors of the logo. What can I do to keep it like that?

My Image is an Illustrator file and I use ID CS6 Mac.

And I'd probably start by making a copy of the one you have. Since this is a background, I assume, rather than lower the opacity, you can use shades of your colors, what could work better. You only need transparency if you want the something object behind let shine through or interact. If it's not quite red, adjust the mixture of the color or hue.

Alternatively, you can try is to use the image at 100% in the ID, and then add a filled [paper] frame above it and lower the opacity of this frame to leave the image to show through, but I suspect that you will see the same colors that you see now.

  • Change resolution without changing the size. I want the crisper, either of the images.

    Hi, I would like to change the resolution for the images on my screen are clearer.  In the control panel settings, is currently correct for its size, but Blacks are grey, and text looks like it's under water.  He told me that he would work more pixels per inch. But as soon as I increased the resolution in the Control Panel, my office becomes bigger, clearer, not of crisper.  Crispy, that's what I do, not size.

    Hello

    Changing resolution affects how much fits the screen; You cannot change this fact.

    Access the site on your computer or the manufacturer of the graphics card > look for a driver download Section > search for your model number and operating system > get graphics / video / Chipset Drivers (depending on how it is formulated) > download and install.

    Change the screen resolution.

  • How to add metadata to the JPG format without changing the image data

    I have a JPG file and I want to use Photoshop to simply add metadata to the image - the author, the copyright of some tags. I don't want to change anything in the data of the image itself, but chsaving file does not change, even if I select the highest quality. I know that it has changed because the hashcount for the actual image data has changed; I also see changes in areas of the DHT and DQT and I need avoid these changes.

    Photoshop is the wrong tool, then you can use Bridge for example.

  • Change the size of the image without changing the size of the content

    Hello, I'm in CS3 windows

    They gave me a PSD for a Web site, I need to make the overall image size any longer as it is now, but I need the content (text, images, etc.) to stay the same size. I tried all the layers I want to stay the same and turn them off as well, but whenever I do that the result is always the same when I turn the layers back on (after the change of the length of the document)... they are always tight locking.

    How can I achieve this?

    Image > size of the canvas is a way.

    If I comment the code between two - and - image changes as appropriate.

    Your problem is that you use a blocking operation and the Blackberry is never really painted screen.

    There are 2 possible solutions:

    (1) the blocking operation thread. This means that spawn a real thread to use UIApplication.invokeLater () instead.

    (2) paint before calling your blocking with the force operation: Ui.getUiEngine () .repaint (); It means the battery display to repaint and your screen will be permanently shown.

  • How to change the background color after the conversion of images in text

    I scanned an old book, and then the images converted to text. I have not had any problems with this process. Now, I want to make the text more legible by exchanging the old yellowish background to white, but I'm not sure of the best approach for this company.  I tried to simply change the color background in white in Acrobat, but who did not. I do not change the text after I converted it (via OCR). I guess adobe interprets the yellowish background image, and the OCR process has not converted in fact vector 'real' text, but just made it easier to change. When I change the white background, it is not visible, because the yellowish background is an image on top of the background.  Or am I way off?

    The book is just text, with a few black and white illustrations, diagrams, etc. What would be the process easier to convert the text to text and delete the 'images' yellowish background, so if I wanted to change the white text and black background, for example, I have Then easily change a second time for, say, Brown text and sepia background?  I hope I'm making sense.

    I found a response to remove the yellowish background on most of the pages (and I feel pretty stupid that I him have not found earlier).  The yellowish background is indeed a picture.  I can just delete.  But I can remove it only if there is just pure text on the page.  If I delete the image background with an illustration, illustration is deleted also - the background and the illustration is a picture.

    I'll have to do a little work to change the background image that is related to a picture and save it as a .png, so white space is not affected by the background color, I chose.  It's a little - a lot of time... unless someone has a better solution?

  • Change the image of the bottom header.main layout.css to a model of BC

    I use a standard model of the BC in a free version of British Colombia and I'm trying to change the background image of header.main a new, Custom, the image I downloaded to the file manager, however, when I click on 'Preview' to the layout.css file, the former code of the image shows still after that I saved the layout.css with the new image in the code of header.main.

    Also, when I go to templates of pages in the site manager, the old image (original) always shows. How can I change the background image?  Is there somewhere else that I have to go in addition to the layout.css to change?

    It lacks the ".jpg" at the end of the file name.

  • For the Express video presenter, how do you change the font of the lower third text?

    How to change the police lower third text in Adobe Presenter Video Express.  The combination of fonts and sizes is not very attractive.

    Currently, it is not possible to change video presenter Express UI. However there is an option to change them by using the cplc.ini file.

    In the video of the presenter express installation folder, you can find cplc.ini.

    Open the file in any text editor (such as notepad).

    Search for LOWER_THIRD_TITLE_FONT_NAME and LOWER_THIRD_SUB_TITLE_FONT_NAME. you will find the following lines.

    LOWER_THIRD_TITLE_FONT_NAME = clean Adobe

    LOWER_THIRD_SUB_TITLE_FONT_NAME = clean Adobe

    You can change them as below. (for purposes of example, I change the Arial font)

    LOWER_THIRD_TITLE_FONT_NAME = Arial

    LOWER_THIRD_SUB_TITLE_FONT_NAME = Arial

    This will make the police of lower third text in all your projects, Arial.

    Similarly, to change the FontSize are looking for LOWER_THIRD_TITLE_HD_FONT_SIZE / LOWER_THIRD_SUB_TITLE_HD_FONT_SIZE and change them accordingly.

    Thank you

  • How to change the resolution of the image without shrinking the image in Photoshop?

    Hello world. In Photoshop, if you change the resolution to 300 to 72 image it automatically changes the size of the image (narrowing it) but if export you for the web, he transforms it in 72 DPI without changing the size of the image! How can we just change the image resolution in photoshop while keeping the image of the same size (pixels high and wide) on screen? It is a problem because if the resolution is higher than the text is smaller! (when I put text) if I really need all my images 72 dpi without their shrinkage. Does anyone know how can this be achieved? Thanks a lot for your help.

    Uncheck resampling in the dialog resize. Frankly, if you post on the web, all that really matter is the pixel dimensions. The 72 dpi is really meaningless. A lot of post of places they need to 72 dpi, just to try to do that people don't give big files, but you submit something within the propler pixel size, it can be any dpi.
