  I noticed your post not being able to print after a recent Windows 8 upgraded. I would like that you try to run the HP print and Scan Doctor which is a tool that will search for printing errors and correct them.

  You are welcome.  I wish that would work for you.  You have tried everything in the document of solving problems, but nothing did.

  The only other thing I can think of would be to do a complete reset of semi.  If successful, this reset the default printer and clear the memory.  If the printer was on a wireless network, it should be removed and would need to be reconnected.  If you want to try this, I can send you the steps in a private message to your Forums HP box.  I need you agree to not post the stages.  Let me know what you decide.

  To set printing preferences. Click on the ORB start and select the devices and printers. Right-click on your printer and click Printing Preferences. Locate the Advanced button in the lower right of the new window and click on it. Locate printing in grayscale option and set it to black ink only. Let us know if that helps.

  A complete printer driver of functionality for one or more versions of Windows is not available for your printer, or from the CD supplied with your printer from the HP website. To use your HP printer with a Windows computer, you must install the driver built-in. To do this, please take a look through this guide, installation of your printer using the built-in Windows driver. Otherwise, I suggest upgrading to a printer of software complete features and drivers available for Windows 7. Here, a list of printers that are compatible with Windows 7.

  I got a G4 MacPowerBook operating an all-in-one HP PSC 1610v and when my G4 died I replaced it with a MacPowerBookPro 10.8.5 OS and now my HP 1610v all-in-one works as a scanner.  I tried to download software drivers on the HP web site to correct the problem, but have been unable to do.  Can anyone suggest a fix or workaround?  IowaLocalBoy

  We will uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Press on and press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall, it IS the Option of the scrubber, no button is labeled "washer".
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Restart your Mac.

  Now reset the printing system:

  -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
  -Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
  -Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  You'll need a printer AirPrint enabled to print directly from an iPad or a network printer to print from HP ePrint mobile app.

  I'm afraid the PSC 1350 is a single USB printer, it doesn't support printing from a mobile device like the iPad.

  I can help you use your PSC 1350 with your Mac running Yosemite.

  Please first reboot the Mac and printer, then download and install the HP printer drivers.

  I'm trying to see if my printer will be able to work without the Windows installation disc. I have a HP PSC 1610 all-in-one printer. I'll buy the cable from Sun to hang it to the top, but I can't find the drive mentioned in the installation program. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I have a MacBook Air with Windows. Comments would be appreciated for what I can determine if I need to buy a new printer.

  Windows 10 has a 1600 integrated printer driver, just us the option to Add a printer in Printers and devices.

  When you try to print word documents, the HP PSC 1315v all-in-One print only certain colors.  Currently, yellow and blue will print vaguely, but not black.  The last time, black would print very slightly, but some color would be to print.  Initially, a company logo on a document that I feel would be to print in full, vivid color, but the rest of the text document was empty.  I changed the black cartridge and color with no improvement.  The test page printed was yellow and very lightly colored.  I tried to unplug and plug back.

  I saw your post on your PSC 1315 Print Print print quality problems, and I'd love to help. I peeked through the troubleshooting guide and recommend the one below for your next steps. They should help to fix the problem! I cross my fingers.

  If the steps do not repair the problem, the print head may have failed in their own country and suggests in this case, to get in touch with HP directly on a printer trade or a replacement. I'll leave their contact details here for you also.

  The PSC 1110 is no longer support scanning using any superior to Mac OS X 10.4, but only provide printing features.

  To scan with the device, I think your only option is to use any 3rd party scanning software as Vuescan that support the model of your scanner (ranked from MCS 1100)
