Re: Error internal Codes 2502 and 2503 for installing steam on Windows 8

I installed Windows 8 and tried to install Steam from Valve but didn't these internal error codes 2502 and 2503 pop up. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.

Hello again,

After scouring many forums I found the solution that worked for me:
1. go in Task Manager > details > Explorer.exe and click end task.

2. now click on file in the Task Manager > type Explorer.exe (here's the trick) check the box below shows that (Create this task with administrative privileges.)

3. now install / uninstall it should work 100%.
