Change of the Opertating system

Good day everyone.

I hope someone on this community could help me with my problem, I bought my Lenovo idea pad S-Series last two days ago, my problem is the OS installed is a Korean version (Windows XP Home) I would like to change it to English.

I go back to the seller and says they can't change, because it's preinstalled software? How can I change the English version? If I change it myself the easyone collection also disappears?

Thanks in advance and any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello and welcome, I prefer a backup

... If you did... you can install any OS in all languages of the world

  • I would like to know if the change in the operating system will also change the product ID

Original title: change of the operating system

    Hello

I would like to know if the change in the operating system will also change the product ID.

    Please can you me this.

    Hi Agnes,.

Thanks for posting the request in Microsoft Community Forums.

    1. are you referring to the product key or Product ID?

    2. you try to upgrade to Windows 8.1 with the same product key?

Product ID is built into the hardware of the machine components. The product key is a 25 character alphanumeric code shown in five groups of five characters each (for example, BCDFG-12345-HJKLM-67890-NPQRS). When you change the operating system, product ID remains the same and not need to change.

You can reuse the product key in the file product ID for multiple installations of the same version of the operating system. The product key in the product ID file is only used to install Windows.

The edition of Windows that you are installing must match the product key used to activate Windows. If you use a product key to select a Windows edition, we recommend using the same key to activate Windows, so that the edition you are installing is the same as the edition that you select.

Work with the keys and product activation

  • All of my records changed in the files system and .exe files are created with the names of these folders.

Is it due to malware? How to convert these files to their form of moose?

    Hi Raffey Hassan,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You have security software installed on your computer?

Changed file .exe file names, the reason might be that the computer is infected from virus or malware.

I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: While hard disk analysis if bad sectors are found when scanning try to repair this area, all available on which data can be lost.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Changes to the help system?

I use CS Design Standard (ID and PS) 5.5 for quite a while now - using a Macbook Pro under Snow Leopard. In each application, I can access excellent Adobe Help system through the Help menu. This opens the help of Adobe, who works as a browser, showing the built in help, as well as additions only online and videos.

I just migrated to a new Macbook Pro, running Mountain Lion. I reinstalled CS Design Standard 5.5 and added CS6 Production Premium.

Now when I open the menu help, all I offer yet a part of menu called 'Photoshop online help' or 'Illustrator aid', but when I select it I'm taken into a pdf file manual. Adobe help is always there on my drive, but it does not launch the system online/offline browser type.

Someone has an idea of what's going on here? I thought Adobe integrated assistance has been extremely useful and I wouldn't spend you.

Thanks to all who can help.

    Steve

Please try to remove the software, try the CS cleanup tool - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.htmland then try to reinstall again.

If this does not work you can reformat.  You can then rerun the Upsizing Wizard, this time by choosing only migrate on your documents and your settings and then try to reinstall.

In general, I've seen users spend hours trying to get back the use of the Migration Wizard.  So don't forget the two options and decide which one is the fastest for you.

Seems to me that everyone is having with the struck dead webcam issuees. I have not installed any new programs or anything like that. HP dv6700 is only TWO years old and the webcam no longer works. The webcam is a built-in Microsoft. I went up to restore computer to factory settings. There is a problem with the driver for the webcam. I even ran troubleshooting automated Microsoft 'Fix It', and he confirms that there is a driver problem. He tries to reinstall the driver, but it fails. I did everything the activation, deactivation, uninstallation, resettlement and the latest measure was totally the computer to its factory condition. Webcam always has a yellow box with exclamation point. In the last days, I worked on it. I even uninstalled and reinstalled YouCam and Skype. With or without these programs, webcam not working rest. I tried manually update driver, but I said that I have the most up to date. Yet once, it happened all of a sudden. No new OS has been introduced.

  • Taskbar Windows Vista Home Premium, changed to the classic color scheme after update.

For some reason any my menu of the taskbar and start suddenly changed to the classic system of windows.

I am running Windows Home Premium and have attempted to reverse to the standard vista scheme through customization > window color and appearance, but has only Windows Classic as an option.

I also right click on the bar of tasks and disappeared on properties in this way, it shows the taskbar as the standard version of Vista but the taskbar is still in basic.

I used the diagnosis of DirectX tool tests to see if an error has caused this, but it does not revisit what whatsoever, and my laptop recognizes that it runs Windows Home Premium.

Also tried to restart, but nothing changes...

The only thing that I think may be linked to this is after a recent update of the last time that I closed my laptop, but I don't see what update it was.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I found that if you go to the computer, right click on it, go on manage, then go to Services on the left column, scroll down to find topics, left-click and then in the upper left of this part of the screen there is a link to restart the Service, click , click on it, it will restart the service for the themes. Once she had him restart the service for the themes, right click on your desktop, go into customize and if you change your theme, your Vista Basic theme should be back. I hope this helps someone.

  • NB200 - can I change the operating system?

    Hello.

    I have a Toshiba NB200 and Windows 7 starter.

I would like to change the operating system, and he wanted to know who I can install in this mini portatil. Also if after changing the operating system, the warranty is lost.

    Thank you for all!

    Hey Buddy,

Why you want to change the operating system?
In my opinion, Windows 7 Starter is ideal for this netbook. Windows 7 is the newest operating system and the Starter Edition is designed for netbooks.

Of course, you can install what you want and you won't lose the warranty if you install another, but Windows 7 is really good!

  • How to use system recovery after OS change to the g4 pavilion 1305 to the

    Hello

    My name is SUNIL GUPTA

I have laptop model g4 1305-UA Pavilion, preinstalled OS Win7 Home Basic 64 Bit.

I was changed for Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit with clean install.

And now I want to reinstall Windows 7 64 Basic Home Edition.

Am that I reinstall with my recovery disks or not?

and if so please tell me...

    Hello

You can use the following method to create your own family Windows 7 Edition installation disk basic 64-bit.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

An example of a COA label can be seen here.

You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC. However, it not there no download directly available for Windows 7 Home Basic Edition, so you'll need to download another version (one will do, but the link below is for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - the source is Digital River).

    Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

For the key on your label of COA to work, you must now use the method described in the following link to convert this ISO to an all-version Installer.

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/85813-Windows-7-universal-installation-disc-create.html

Once that is done, use an application like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-Windows-7-by-phone.aspx

You could possibly need for your laptop can be found, additional drivers and software here.

    Best regards

Qosmio G20: I want to change the operating system, but I can't do it.

Please help me and I will be grateful

    Hello

Of course, you can change the operating system and install another I wonder what OS you prefer?  :|

I think that you can not install the new OS because the HARD drive is not visible. Am I wrong?
Fact is that the G20 series supports RAID functionality. You must install the RAID driver before you continue the OS installation procedure

The RAID driver can be downloaded from the European pilot of Toshiba page and should be included in the operating system using an external USB FDD drive.

  • I was wondering in the era of 3d everything that the operating system has not changed to 3d?

I was wondering in the era of 3d everything that the operating system has not changed to 3d. like where the BONE is part of work like as if you where he is plunged into a game but the game was the operating system. As windows responding simcity.  so when you interact with something he grows or changes the subject. I'm tired of seeing a 2d world when I know that a 3d world is here. I want to say is that imagine an OS that was alive. like all those science fiction movies. I'm new to programming, but it's just one of my many ideas that I think could change the computer OS never imagine sitting on your couch with 3d glasses and feel like you where in a virtual world.

    One simple reason: convenience.

The current problem with our 3D technology is that it would be broken by you are going to use the touch interface. Because, after all, it's just an illusion. Now let's talk about resources: do you really want your OS using towards the top of your ram, CPU and GPU to the point where you could not yet to start a game?

Now think about 5 years computers upgraded... they would be even able to run this OS?

What happens if there is more than one user per computer? What about people who get migraines of 3D? (shutter put on my glasses and my ability to perform simple tasks similarly is gone in 5 min with migraine resulting)

Maybe this will be handy one day, we just aren't there yet. Do not give up the hope, however: at the moment where you get one such product coded, the tech world will already be a different place.

I tried to fix the parse error: 4, [(0,12,80004005), (2,7,80040007), (3,7,0) error of scanning hp] and stumbled upon a fix in support of HP that says if the scanning functions work properly before an upgrade of the operating system to try to use the previous version. I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 when it is released, but just recently started having problems with scanning. Now, I can't find the setting with the dialog box with the drop down box that allowed me to make this change and I need to reset Windows 7 on XP.  Where should I go to my settings of the computer to find this setting?
