Re-installation of any operating system on the computer satellite phone

Forgive me, but I'm trying to re install Vista or Xp being entered against some issues:

Windows XP Home edition disk cannot detect a HARD drive.
It may be stupid but does anyone have a walk through, I want to just wipe my laptop and re-install an operating system

Help!

Thank you very much

I don't know what model of laptop satellite you have exactly, but if you use the original Toshiba Recovery CD you will be able to install the OS without any problem. If you have the new laptop model and you want to install Windows XP Home edition, you need SATA driver.

Without SATA driver installation for Windows XP Home edition will not be able to recognize the HARD drive and you will get a message of lack of HARD drive.
Check out this forum and you will find so many threads on this subject.

Is there anyway that I can get hold of the operating system Vista Home Premium The cd to reinstall without having to go out and pay the full amount for a whole new CD and license, when I already had a license for this machine?

    You got a NEW computer.

    Read this:

    OEM and retail licenses:

    If your computer is pre-installed with Vista, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

    The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
    You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

    If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
    But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

    A single license is a single Installation.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    You are in a very grey re area Activation when you upgrade hardware; as OEM recovery disks are related to the original pub of Hardwaere license OEM Vista.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  • How to restore my system when I bought it? Did not the disks in the operating system when the computer was purchased.

    Original title: System Restore

    How to restore my system when I bought it? No disk when I got it.

    I can not open a new document in works 9 says file is missing? System Restore has new date

    I want to go further? is there a way? Windows Vista home Premium SP2

    Hello

    System Restore puts your computer's settings to a date earlied.

    You mean that recovery of the system.

    There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

    You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

    They should do this for a small fee.

    To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

    You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

    How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

    "How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

    And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

    The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

    Ask them to the proper key sequence.

    And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

    Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

    If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

    Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

    If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

    You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

    Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

    And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

    Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

    "How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

    And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

    And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Uninstallation of operating systems on the computer

    I have a major problem.  My computer crashed and burned at the time where I couldn't find my drive of the Vista operating system.  A friend decided to try to install Windows XP Pro.  This did not work properly.  I found my Vista disk and installed on my computer.  Unfortunately, he kept the XP and now my 'c' (local disk) disk memory is full because of the multiple systems.  How do I erase everything and start over?  I am very computer illiterate, that is why, I need step by step instructions on how to do.  I didn't want a dual boot.

    Install an own CUSTOM, by removing the Partition in Vista/XP existing/s as you install Vista.
    This way you go with a clean install on hard drive.

    Read the tutorials below on how to do a clean install CUSTOM:

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Left attack virus serious that some files disabled in windows 7 (protected by Microsoft Security Essential) a program used on the computer was left partially disabled and I continue when using wireless internet. Reformatted drive leaving 100 MB Partition intact, created in new OS was an old file of Windows not wanted, impossible any attempt at the value of the days of updates, downloads & allowing also noticed wifi. Another reader reformat leaving 100 MB partition again not affected since the original OS. All programs loaded & all updates succeeded, but still did not have through any discussion read to get the computer to WiFi wifi as in Starbucks invites you to discover. I have another operating system on the computer that is able to discover drive internet wifi from loading with windows 7 so not a hardware problem, I think. Question is can a formatted drive on the left with its original partition of 100 MB OS questions with new reloaded windows 7 and is the new installation of the operating system clearly & repopulate this partition of 100 MB for no bug cannot continue to corrupt and better performance? Thank you all.

    A new installation of windows 7 can be said to delete this partition. do you when you get to the section "where do you want to install windows?" in installing windows 7. There is a player options button that allows you to delete both partitions... then create 1 new partition for windows and it throws a message saying that the operating system can create additional partitions... blah blah... and she... that way the 100 MB partition is clear. • Plan to install Win'a again. & operating system on the hard drive clean. We hope to upgrade memory of the laptop later, having heard it's op system stop working.

    Supposedly the installation process corrects the operating system on the computer's particular configuration and any changes cancel the operating system to function.  Dosen't seem very friendly for computer tinkering.  Having read both 1) that only the motherboard is recognized and fixed 2) or that all the components of the laptop are fixed on and nothing can be changed.  Anyone know if any of them are true? Thanxs, Steve

    (Vivid RAM) memory or not should not make the installed Windows 7 from functioning.  If you change to another laptop and Windows 7 is OEM, then yes the Windows 7 will not work correctly.

  • Will there be repercussions to Program Files on one partition other than the operating system of the installation?

    Will there be repercussions to Program Files on one partition other than the operating system of the installation?  Most if not all the software packages allow to customize the installation.  I had an experience with OFFICE 2013 and this allowed me to install on a separate partition.  After installation, I checked the menu START was 2013 OFFICE & I was able to launch PwrPt without complications.

    My motivation for doing this is that I have several versions of LabView which occupies the huge disk space.  So if I can separate the backup image of my OS program files is greatly reduced in size.  This allows me to record several images of my OS by dates without needlessly chewing my external hard drive.

    Anyone know this & if yes are there complications or questions?

    Appreciate any feedback

    I deleted an earlier version of Acrobat Pro from my computer. Still, I get the same message.

    Hi John,.

    Please specify if you have purchased DC Acrobat or Acrobat 11 or upgrade you to the latest patch for Acrobat 11, that is to say 11.0.11 so that we can help you accordingly.

    I wonder if you have checked your system requirements before you download Acrobat.

    I would also ask to share with you the screenshot of the error message with us.

    You could probably uninstall Acrobat using cleaning tool. Here is the link for the same thing.
