Re: Missing Bluetooth | HP ENVY 15-j026tx | Windows 8.1

Pouf! No Bluetooth! Here yesterday, has become today!

I'm having the same problem with a laptop Envy 17 T J 100...

Bluetooth hardware simply disappeared after (I think?) a certain Windows update. Went live with chat support, they invited to uninstall then reinstall the networking and bluetooth drivers, ALL tried and did not get any advantage. The BIOS does not recognize that the radio-transmitter Bluetooth EXISTS in this computer. It was as if a gnome came to my house in the middle of the night, unscrew the lower part of the thing, has crawled around inside, removed the bluetooth equipment and replaced with a WAD of styrofoam.

I KNOW it is Bluetooth inside the thing - say the plug; the order sheet confirms that I paid for it; I've used it before. I don't know when it came out, but when I tried to use it yesterday, it wasn't there. My area has had a problem with internet due to a storm, so I thought that I attach my cell phone and its data (via the cell tower) to my laptop for a little bit, see how it goes, but I noticed when I got the phone and the laptop next to each other, WHAT? BLUETOOTH NO MORE? BUT WHY?

And I'm sure it's an update of Windows and HP incompatibilities, which are the culprits. Nothing yet HP or Windows programmers. It has something to do with the management of energy, maybe. But because I can not ANY software to ADMIT that the material EXISTS, there is no way to force-power for the equipment.

BLUETOOTH HAS DISAPPEARED. DIFFICULTY PLEASE. Thank you.

    Hello

I just bought a HP Envy 17 - j020us today. It came stock with Windows 8 is installed and I have, for my own reasons, decided to install Windows 7 above. Long story short, the installation has worked, for the most part. The only problem was that I was missing some drivers. I searched and found http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-and-Software/ENVY-17-j020us-windows-7-driver... which was very helpful. However, there's still about 3 pieces of material that is not installed, the drivers with the network controller. I have attached hardware IDS and compatible IDS is available upon request for any "missing" material below. Can someone help me find the drivers?

  • Bluetooth does not work on Windows in Satellite C660-A047

    Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my laptop (satellite c660-A047) Bluetooth does not work on windows (7 and 8), but it works very well under Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Backtrack).

I have an outgoing method :) to do run on windows, start Linux Live then set the Bluetooth adapter to the off State, and then reboot (do not stop, restart only), and then start windows this time this Bluetooth adapter works great and updated automatically in the Device Manager.

To use Bluetooth on windows I have to do the same steps: (.)

If someone wants to know all the details to help me solve these curious case, I will be grateful.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you soon.

The laptop supports Wlan Atheros / module combo BT.
This means that a single module shares WiFi and BT connectivity.

Using Win 7 you must add the additional drivers called filter for driver Atheros BT package.
So first the Atheros WLan driver must be installed, secondly Atheros BT filter after battery Toshiba BT.

To help to win 8, you must install two components of driver manually to enable the Bluetooth feature: System Toshiba + Atheros Bluetooth driver driver filter

  • Satellite A100-011 - Bluetooth not working after installing Windows 7

Hi, I have a Satellite A100 - 011 (PSAARE) and I tried to install windows 7 on it.

I used the installer of the software of toshiba for windows 7, and in Device Manager, all of the devices seem to be properly installed. (There is a disabled person, or an unknown device). However, I can't have my bluetooth appears or use it. I tried to install the 3.00 Vista bluetooth stack, but it didn't work. Why isn't my bluetooth device and function appear anywhere in windows 7? Someone at - it had a similar problem?

Let me add that the WiFi is working normally.

    Hey,.

I m no owner of the Satellite A100 but I think you need more recent Bluetooth software and drivers for Windows 7 to Vista place

The missing pilot is linked to:

    PCI \VEN_8086&DEV_ 3 A 02 & SUBSYS_3034103C & REV_02

    Everything else seems fine.

  • CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows

Original title: another question about the DVD drive is not detected in Windows 7

I have the same problem that many others have described here on the DVDR drive not detected after installing Windows 7. I still have not solved this issue. But I have another similar problem. The system will not recognize an external USB DVDR drive connected to a USB port. In essence, I have no access to the internal drive (in a Dell Inspiron 1545) or the external hard drive. Without access to a DVD player I can't even uninstall Windows 7, and I can not install or save anything else without a drive. I'm at my wits end. If anyone can help I will shower you with praise.

  • Peripheral Bluetooth disconnects when "Bluetooth Headset operations and settings" window is closed

So when I connect my Bluetooth headset to my laptop I have at the same time press the 'connect' button on my headset * and * open the Bluetooth Headset operations and settings window, then click on 'Connect' on there also.

    So my first question is:

Why do I have to do a step totally superfluous alone time I want to connect my headset? It should be the case that once I've set up my headset with my laptop, it will automatically connect when I press the 'connect' button on my helmet. I wouldn't do more than that.

    My second question is:

Why my headphones does not cut off when I close the Bluetooth Headset operations and settings window?

It's the same problem that this guy has been seen two years ago:

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. Going to Headset/Bluetooth Headset before working on this computer?
    2. Have you tried another Bluetooth device on this computer? Has been the result even?
    3. Have you tried the steps suggested in the thread you mentioned in your post? If yes what was the result and that do not try these measures after the method 1.

Try the methods below and see if it works for you.

    Method 1:

Run the hardware and devices troubleshooter.
