  At least the drive and theoretically Yes Yes on the tv tuner even though it is expensive. You need the module and a special cable. I can't find the part on the internet or on this site, but you could maybe call HP or even look on ebay. Here is the part that you need to add a second drive. It's the caddy and a connection cable.

  I should not worry the brand of the drive. Toshiba uses different brands in their notebooks. They all generically similar in terms of performance and physical dimensions.

  I intend to add a Bay slim HARD drive to my Tecra M5.

  Although I can't guarantee the procedure myself, I don't see why not. If you install two or more operating systems on a single drive on separate partitions, it should work on an extra HDD as well, in my opinion.

  Another question is what OS and what happens to manage the boot sequence. For example, installing Microsoft XP destroys GRUB, installing Linux after XP. Two OSes MS coexist together very well usually, but to be on the safe side, it does not hurt if the OS later (by release date) is installed second.

  I'm not very 'exclusive' awareof drive for the P20. I think that it is a 2.5 drive "conventional with a standard pin configuration.

  I know that the use of range Portege 1.8 disc "format.

  Is it possible that there is an adapter to allow the reader to be realigned with the pin sockets?

  If you can post the details of the car (model no etc), that would give a clue as to the type of drive you have.

  The point of this Bay is, IF you buy a model with a second equipped HARD drive then there will be a connector, but if bought a model with a SINGLE disc fitted then you just need a drive since the connector to the second HDD was not soldered on the motherboard of your model.

  Easy and simple. If you want to have a second drive, then you must either:

  -solder a connector for the motherboard which causes your warranty and does not mean that you can use a second drive since you will need the appropriate BIOS Rom
  -buy a USB - HDD and accept your situation :/

• Satellite Pro 6070 Slim Select Bay Drive doesn't regonize CD

  I have a problem with my Slim Select Bay DVD. The drive motor is running and the laser unit moves, but it does not recognize the discs until I flip the whole notebook on the right side.
  Then, after a few attempts with opening and closing of the drive, the drive reads the disc in most of the time. So I think that it is a problem with the contacts inside the laptop because windows recognize it every time.

  Has anyone here an idea of how solve it?

  If someone write here you should disassemble the entire laptop and check or perhaps own contacts your really want to do this?
