  A few different ways to do it, but if you use mod_rewrite, you can use some rewrite rules, for example:

• FF won't connect to Linksys router

  FF 4.0.1... WRT120N Linksys router. URL to the management page 192.168.0.1.

  Connection dialog box is presented. Enter nothing (correct!). Enter the correct password. All that happens is that the dialog box flashes and reappears.

  NOTE: Connection process works very well using Chrome or IE.

  Huge problem here guys.

  Click on the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | Advanced and in the general tab, remove the check mark from "tell web sites I don't want not to be the subject of a follow-up.

  I removed the program lists mywebsearch. all helpline instructions tell me to go to about: config and r click on the keyword url, then press reset. When I click right I get nothing that describes remote reset. I tried for days

  There is another method, but I advise against it unless you have no other choice, it is to manually edit the file that stores the preferences.

  1. Follow the instructions in the article profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data to open your profile folder.
  2. Closing of Firefox
  3. Copy the file called prefs.js to another location (just create a backup in case something goes wrong)
  4. Modify prefs.js with a text editor such as Notepad
  5. Find the line in the file that contains the keyword . URL and delete this line
  6. Save the file and restart Firefox to see if that fixes the problem.

• Linksys E2000 router slow connection.

  OK, so I use 2 with 2 routers, for me and my father, another for my brother and sister.  We decided to get rid of the other router and make our cisco E2000 our primary router, but everything on the router configuration has been deleted, so we had to reset upward.  I remember reading a guide to advanced setting to make my wireless speed range from 13.5MBPS to 216 Mbit/s, but I forgot what the settings was in the advance settings.  Can someone help me with the settings or if you have a link that I can go?

• Unable to pass user id and password in the URL to open the new form

  We have installed a version of updating of forms 11g and I find that the following code does not work as expected.  Instead of perfectly open the dropper_assign form, we receive the standard name of username/password login prompt / database independently passing credentials in the URL.  If I get the password exactly as it shows in the resulting url then connects the form and the form opens as expected.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  The real problem comes to set these two variables formsweb.cfg in my ttmsmenu Setup:

  UserID = @DATABASEID

  LOGON_SCREEN = YES

  In Forms 10 G, this works to pre-populate the database id in the field of database on the login screen.  In Forms 11 G, remove the logon_screen variable solves the transmission of identification information of the URL.  Delete the userid variable eliminates a bad initial connection attempt.

  I'm still learning CSP and did not have the joy of any training yet, but I have a question about the right way to do forms of grid components.

  Currently, I have a form to trigger a change to a physical server. The server information is a normal shape.

  In addition, I would like to be able to enter data for multiple network cards and disks.

  My solution was to create three separate service elements, server, DFU, and disk.

  Then I created three separate dictionaries of those specifying that DFU, and the disk must be represented by grid.

  Then, I created three distinct forms with DFU again and drive show as a grid.

  Finally, I created a service that includes three forms.

  I think that this is not the right way to do it because within this plan, I can only generate an element of service for normal form, the grid forms are not listed and so I have to adjust my adapter to send everything through CPO in order to get to that data.

  Can someone tell me if this is the right way to do it?

  The method I used to pass the gates of plan service delivery is to use a ServiceLink agent configured to use the methods of CUD NSAPI service point (point of Service Update listener adapter). The key is to use a transformation to take the grid for the shape data and convert it to an API of NS request. Here is a document that I wrote explaining my agent "Service point Updater." It requires some conventions for the dictionary as having a "Status" attribute, but it can be adjusted according to your needs.

  The dictionary SIBG (base grid point Service) should include only the properties that you want to update more an additional field called status.

  The password used to encrypt the passwords stored in the logins.json file, and without the correct password, you can no longer decipher and passwords for access.
  You lose all passwords if you use the chrome URL or delete the files key3db and logins.json to reset the master password.

• Help NNetworked HDD (showing that sharepoint)

  I plugged a disk external DRIVE via USB my cable provider Modem/Router so I could access it on my Macbook.  When I get K command in the finder, it appears like a number and a sharepoint folder.  When I double click on the folder that nothing appears.  The drive is formatted Mac OS journaled and works fine when plugged directly into the Macbook so I know it works.  I know that's not good to go but any help would be greatly appreciated.

  A third-party router is unable to read a disc in Mac OS format. You must follow the manufacturer's instructions to reformat the hard drive on the router. This will delete all data on the disk.

  If you have two Macs, you can of course share the drive from one to the other without reformatting.

• D7000/R7000 brick after reboot SW

  After trying a SW restart due to declining constantly wifi, router was completely insensitive with only ADSL and internet connection LED lit even when only the power cable is connected, honestly, I'm at a loss as what to do next.

  After trying to reset to the factory settings and reset hard other threads that I've had no luck, even try to go into recovery mode given nothing, even the power LED is still off, I started the thing, it's a hardware fault.

  Key points:

  * Enable TFTP service on features in Windows via Control Panel

  * Do not use downloadable tool... I used the tftp 192.168.1.1-i cmd line put firmware-file-name

  To be more precise with the steps:

  1 set in motion the TFTP functionality in Windows features in Control Panel

  2 downloaded firmware for my router to my PC.

  3. connected by cable from my PC to the router ethernet... deleted all the other cables to a single cable connected to the router.

  4 set the IP static on my enternet PC connection (as described in this thread)

  5. power of the router up to what the light was flashing white every second. Could not enter any mode of green light.

  6. in the cmd window is entered 'tftp-I 192.168.1.1 PUT C:\Users\Dave\Downloads\R7000-V1.0.7.2_1.1.93\R7000-V1.0.7.2_1.1.93.chk'

  7. about 2-3 minutes later, router rebooted.

• Anyone else get randomly disconnected backward compatibility games? I'm about to give up the program.

  Whenever I play a games backwards Compatibility (BC) 360 I randomly cut from Xbox Live, but only on the 360 end not the end of the Xbox One (XB1). Here are a few notes for intelligent types:

  -It is not isolated to a game because it happens to me on Left 4 Dead 2, Gears of War 2, Peggle, COD: Black Ops, AND MORE.

  -Coming when I broadcast, coming when I broadcast. (I like to broadcast and this hinders my ability to do)
  -Not my connection because I'm staying on XBL on the dashboard XB1.  In addition, my other devices are connected.
  -Only occur on XB1 games... ever
  -Sometimes when I'm in a group of XB1 and 360.  Occurs when I'm not in a party.

  -My download is between 50-100 Mbps, Upload is between 15-30mbps

  -I'm on a wireless signal, reception of 100%.  Move to a wired connection soon to try this (doubtful).

  -J' forwarded the ports required for XBL according to Support.

  -J' went down the firewall on my router.

  -J' deleted games and reinstalled them.

  -J' deleted my profile player and re-uploaded on XB1 and 360.

  -My NAT type is OPEN.

  -No matter if its on disk or not. I actually bought L4D2 digitally even if I have the drive to try to alleviate the problem

  I'm not there are more things I forgot.  As you can see I have tried almost everything and got no results.  I contacted the support like 5 times and that is why the list is so complete.  It's incredibly frustrating when even people to Xbox support can help me then I'm going to try this as a last ditch.  I'm about to give up compatibility backwards and I have a large catalog of games that I NEVER threw.  Been a member XBL for 11 years in very good condition.

  I hope you guys and girls can help or at least it attracts the attention of young people the tech guys to Xbox.

• Windows Update redirect, downloaded Update KB2286198, Went to check for Mac Update Page, am running XP - Service Pack 3 for updates and directed me?

  I previously downloaded update and after that restart is gone to check updates more, browser has sent me to a page with a link to Mac update on Microsoft.com said I was using mac os software! Running XP Pro SP3. Also reset by default checked registry update, it has the right url value, deleted history, Cookies ect? Still no luck.

  Any help would be appreciated!

• Two different HP printers on home WiFi network went offline

  Have a HP Deskjet 3050 J610 series and a (rather new) HP Officeject 8600 on my home/office WiFi ditches.  Each is associated with a laptop of Lenovo under MS Windows 7 Home Premium. They are all both passes in offline mode, and I can't get back them. Cisco router SmartSys lists them as devices of the network well as offline (both). I rebooted the router and I've deleted and reinstalled the 3050 at least but still can't it connect.  What should I try next?  Thank you.

  When you configure the 8600 by using the control panel you have the possibility to use dynamic or static IP.

  Dynamics uses the address IP provided by the router DHCP while static is chosen by you, but outside the range the router DHCP.

• Windows Vista not able to support the WPA2 wireless security problem

  Recently, I upgraded my router wireless to a Linksys 400N series N wireless router.  I use WPA Personal / RTK to authenticate and on all my XP and Vista machines, I was able to enter the security credentials and connect to the network. However, on a computer Windows Vista SP2 I be prompted to enter a field of login/password / username each time I try and connect to the network.  There must asking me my password and that's it.  This same card was working fine like WEP when I use my old wireless router.

  I deleted this adapter wireless network and sharing Center, ensured that the machine is part of the domain, uninstalled the wireless network card (which is also a Linksys product), assured the latest version of the driver and tried almost all the trouble shooting tips I can think.

  I've seen this identified as a problem in a few threads but no final resolution.  Any help/suggestions would be appreciated (no suggestion to buy a Mac tho!).

  Well well, after a diagnosis much more, I have determined that it is certainly a problem of Windows Vista.  If I plug a different adapter in the computer (which runs on a different computer), I get the same problem.  I was on the phone with Linksys for an hour and basically they have thrown in the towel and gave me an RMA for their card, though I doubt it will solve the problem.

  Is there some registry entry to set the type of authentication for a wireless adapter?  It seems that Vista keeps thinking it is the incorrect authentication mechanism.  Is it possible to 'fix' service wireless on Windows?

  Okay, I think that the real problem is that Windows Vista doesn't have the type of select WPA2 security (which is what the router broadcasts).  Is there a way to enter in this somehow?  It seems that Windows determines the types of security available according to the driver for the wireless card.  However, I use a Linksys Wireless-G USB Adapter (WUSBG54) and it says that it supports WPA (although I can't determine if it is only WPA or WPA2 as well).  In any case, hope this additional information helps all those who have a few cycles to provide some guidance.

  WPA or WPA 2 encryption is actually supported by the wireless card that you have installed on the computer. As you only could use WPA earlier, it seems that the wireless network adapter supports only WPA and WPA 2 encryption key.
