Re: Satellite L30D - low screen after installing Windows 7 resolution

I installed Windows 7 on my L30D satellite. Since this installation, I can't have a better resolkuton that 1024x768.*It was much better with Windows Vista.

I downloaded the latest ATI driver. No effect. I can't find the Catalyst Control Center as well. What can I do?

Hello

The Satellite L30D isn t I known...
Do you mean Satellite L30 or Satellite L300D?

Normally, you will need to install the display driver when you use higher screen resolutions, but first check the specifications of your internal display. Native perhaps screen resolution is 1024 x 768 and you can use higher t.

You can download all the drivers for your laptop on the Toshiba site! Don t use the drivers from ATI directly, they are not designed for mobile chips.

    Hello

I have a Satellite Z930, which works perfectly for years. I recently downloaded and installed Windows 10 and as soon as I did, I get low-memory computer warnings, the laptop works slowly and I need to stop it and restart it. I installed all the updates and I still have windows mail and web browser (a) open, but the problem persists. I used 75 103 GB of storage, not of course the relevance that is.

    Dear Chris,
I bet that for Toshiba support being able to help you, it would be necessary to know the exact version of the Z930 (e.g. Z930 - 16K) you have, including how (live RAM) is currently installed.

  • Satellite A100-495 - black screen after installing Windows XP Home edition recovery

After the recovery and download of updates and the XP operating system that the screen remains black, bios does not start, and XP does not start.

    What can I do?
    A I press a certain key combination?
How can I reset the laptop again?

    Who can help quickly?

    Hello Ralf

Stand by. If I understand you just your laptop does not work.

What happen exactly when you press the power button / stop? You don't see anything on the screen? You see Toshiba welcome screen.
    Power is ON?
    Is there a any reaction?

Remove the battery and leave the laptop for some time, connect the power supply only and try to start it again.
To be honest, this whole thing is strange. Recovery image installation is not responsible for this kind of behavior. Have you done something else that may be responsible for this?

  • Satellite C660 - white screen after instalation image recovery

Strange problem. My Satellite C660D-1FM was a bunch of updates from Microsoft (did not updates for centuries as it was used by my daughter and not connected to the internet) and after completing it restarted and I got the Toshiba splash screen and nothing. Holding F8 gives the same problem, tried turning the key '0' and that was the same. Connected to an external monitor and it's the same thing. I can't get into the BIOS and everything seems fine.

Then, thinking that the HDD is maybe defective I mounted another drive hard and fully installed Win7 on a Microsoft DVD (SP1 and all updates) and everything works. Then, I thought I try and restore the laptop to factory settings by default using Toshiba DVD recovery which Id created. Worked well during the installation, all the installed DVD 3 and he's gone through the procedure installation, portable got at the end when he tried to restart it, rebooted and now back to the same error - Toshiba start screen is ok, but then he'll just empty. To convince me that I wasn't going crazy I then reinstalled Win7 my DVD of Microsoft and he moved very well, did all the updates and worked all day today with no problem.

Someone at - it an idea of what's going on?

Hmmm... something like that shouldn't happen.
Do you use the recovery disc for the first time?
Have you noticed the same result on both hard drives?

Problem is that there is not much to do about it and there is no way to change it either in recovery installation runs, or later during the installation of windows is underway.

Try to set the BIOS to default settings and simply try to reinstall the recovery image.

There is a 64-bit device driver Windows 10 on the Intel web site that looks much newer, but it refuses to install it.

    Any ideas?

You can try the drivers on the website of acer for your model:

If this does not work, you can download and use the Intel driver update utility.  The best thing to try first the driver from the Acer site.

  • Satellite Pro L40 - sound after installing Windows XP SP3 driver

    Hello

I bought the Satellite Pro L40 about 6 months ago and the speed of the laptop is too slow with windows Vista. So I decided to install an old copy of windows XP that I had purchased earlier. I updated the windows SP3 installation before installing the drivers.

Now, all the drivers have been installed correctly except the audio driver. I downloaded the XP version of the driver on the toshiba site, but it did not work. So I though that maybe the vista version would work, so I downloaded that. But that no longer works.

Can someone suggest a solution where I can get the audio driver to work? Preferably without having to get the reinstalled windows again.

    Hello

I have several question for you:

-What system was installed before? Windows Vista?
-where you have downloaded the display driver? On the Toshiba site?
-You can find all the necessary drivers in the section download the drivers on the Toshiba site-> http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU
Simply choose XP MCE as an operating system, the drivers are the same as XPPro/XP

I'm still not able to click / tap on the option of the current setting of 1024 x 768, I don't know why this is happening? Please ask help?

    Hello

You must download and install the latest graphic drivers of Windows 8/8.1 ASUS for your machine, as it has been defined for Windows 7.

If none are available, you will need to upgrade, if you can, your graphics hardware to solve the problem.

Normally, you would have embedded chart that you can not change
