  • computer laptop Windows 8 shows a BSOD (Netio.sys) to connect to the internet using a wired connection

Hello people. It is my first question to the community.

I've used windows 8 (OEM) language unique for appx 1 year and a half. After the recent update to 8.1 windows my pc started to show problems (Explorer froze frequently and BSOD occurred randomly). so I decided to go back to windows 8 and refreshed my pc. It worked well until the appearance of BSOD indicating that an error NetIO.sys started to hit my PC a few days ago. According to the error I reinstalled my network adapters. but nothing gave me the solution.

I enclose the mini dump with the question files. Hope someone can help me.

Regarding the update to 8.1, any device with a driver for 8.0 will be developed 8.1 What are essentially the same, and Microsoft requires all uses to 8.1.

The BSOD is a combination of things Quick heal may have worked for decades, but may have installed something else which is in conflict with it.  In all cases, your choice is to leave it and crashed or replace it with something that does not work.

BTW, I do not work for microsoft have therefore no control over what they do.

You will need to keep refreshing to 8.0 and IMHO, there is nothing worng with 8.1 you may be better served by finding out why you had problems with 8.1 I suspect that you updated to win 8, I'm good?

Help, please! -J' I feel like IM going crazy trying to get it to work

    .

Older hardware uses a different protocol and the later models of wi - fi security, so

It may be that the unit is able to see the signal available but not able to use it or connect.

In order to set up an AirPort Base Station wireless vintage separate from any modern

wireless local area network is a way to use a less secure configuration wireless computer older

and without compromising the latest systems which would share a reduced security wireless

If you want to reduce the overall security of the system (using the old protocol WAP,

WEP, etc.; drafters WPA2 +) and base stations can be more difficult if they

also have more than one type of signal. Older computers use less bandwidth.

At this point, I cannot possibly be a great help; short of reading thanks to my favorites

old pages (and check if the pages still work online) reference to use the installation program.

My setup wireless WPA2 but earlier use AirPort Express base; and also have older

base station AirPort Extreme 54 k White orb on-site; but not currently enabled.

To have an additional wireless hardware for use with vintage computers.

    Good luck in this case!

It is not recommended to keep Windows Firewall disabled on the computer.

    Mikev

Welcome to the community of HP @mikiev,

I read your current and previous posts about how you can't print from the internet, and I wanted to answer you with my suggestions. I understand that you have tried to use different however search engines, try to return to my colleague's response @RnRMusicMan on the link below and try to use another web browser altogether. Again, if you use Google Chrome, try Firefox or Internet Explorer.

If Chrome and Firefox will not print, try printing from NotePad, which is a program that is preinstalled on your system to see if the draws work from there.

You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome or Firefox, whatever one you use often, to see if that helps the printing problem.

Let me know what is happening and we can go from there!

    Good luck
