Re: Satellite Pro 6000 - will not be from hibernation
I allowed my Sat Pro 6000 to run out of battery at the weekend so I was working on it and it went into hibernation, now I can't get the screen to wake up again. When I Plug and switch on the power led lights up, but the driven system is not. If I leave the power for about 10 minutes, the fan turns on and then turns off again.
I tried to disconnect the battery cable and the power and left these disconnected from the day to the next, but this did not help. I removed the hard drive and tried in another 6000 and it works fine.
Everyone knows about this problem?
Hello
It seems more like a hardware problem as a problem of Hibernate (software).
I think there is something wrong with the power of electronic power supply on the motherboard and so the machine doesn't wake up or start impossible.
I think it will be not easy to fix this problem yourself.
Therefore an ASP help would be needed I put t see any other possibility.
Best regards

Satellite Pro 6000 will not boot
Hi all
I have a 6000 Pro Satellite which is quite old, but until yesterday it was working fine. Today, it no longer starts. The lights are on (220v:green / power: Green / battery: orange), but the BIOS or the operating system does not start. Fan does not work either. The FN key seems to work - if I press it, the indicator light below the F11. If I press and hold the power button the power light turns off.
I removed the battery to see if that would help, but it basically gives the save result (or not).
Is it possible to do a hard reset? Or is it curtains for this laptop?
You want to know your opinion on this one.
JPHello
Try unplugging the power adapter and remove the battery the laptop for a while leave. Wait 20 - 30 minutes, reconnect all the pieces and try to start.
If it won't work, I guess the hardware laptop works bad maybe that it s a motherboard (ESF) failure or the CPU.
Who knows. Without any hardware tests is not easy to know which device is malfunctioning -

Hello
Seems that there are problems with the files of GoBack.
Try to boot in safe mode and remove the Norton System works from your laptop ;)
If this does not help, you will need to recover the laptop with the recovery CD Toshiba delivered! Also I recommend to visit the Symantec support site and to check the solutions to the problem with the Norton System Works programs
Good luck

Satellite Pro A100 spontaneous wake up from hibernation or standby
Hello world
Since a few days my Satellite Pro A100 automatically wake up from hibernation mode
(and last night mode ensures too)I don't have any in features (such as LAN or USB) wake up, as far as I know, that these features are not yet present in my current BIOS version (1.50).
The wake-up generally occurs with peripheral No. or LAN cables connected.
I used the hibernation mode without any problems for over two years on this laptop.
So I think that it is a hardware problem, for example something related to the power button or the close button of cover. Is it possible to completely disable the close lid button? PowerSaver to disable for example l ' hibernation on the cover, but I don't seem to be able to turn OFF the alarm on the LID.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or comments

Hello!
Well, in your case, I would try first to update the BIOS. You can find it on the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download driversIf it doesn t work, please contact an authorized service provider. Technicians you can check laptop because then it looks like a LID switch problem.
Good bye

Satellite Pro P875 will not display on '3D ready' 3D projector emachines V700
Hello
I am struggling with the display of 3D on a 3d ready projector emachines V700.
I tried different software, stereoscopic player, CyberLink DVDPlayer 12 without success.CyberLink DVDPlayer is configured to use the Intel card - which will not limit its possibilities to use the 3D Vision NVidea support?
On the NVidea Control Panel, the option for the specification of the graphics card is grayed out and configured for the use of the Intel card, for all CyberLink programs.
The error message I see, is that the software can not enable 3D support. I used the mode "120 time sequential 3D LCD.
The Toshiba Bue Ray Player has yet identified the Blu Ray in 3D, as it seems.
It shows 3D blu ray than 2D and 3D button is grayed out.I have:
Toshiba Satellite Pro P875
HDMI cable
EMachines V700
Shutter 3D glasses: Hi Pro shockHello
From my point of view, you can use this capable 3D projector as part of the nVidia 3D vision.
http://www.nvidia.co.UK/object/3D-vision-main-UK.html
As I m not wrong not the display/projector must support 120 Hz and must be set to 120 Hz in order to use the 3D side-by-side mode.
In addition you need a compatible software/player stereo standard (for example 3D VISION video player)

Hello
How do you know what the flashing of led said you? You are a sort of technician? How can you know that the "blink" (long, short) are 0 and 1.
Do you know how to assemble the circuit board and don't you know that the things you have take care? Who PCB´s that you have exchanged?
You said:Hand and VGA
but the powerpcb too? And how do you know that the PCB´s are ok? Because why someone is selling you that with the 'work' of description?
Would appreciate some feedback from you

Satellite Pro L300 will not start
I have a portable Satellite Pro L300 and he won't start (in other words the power button and not going not past the first screen).
Works for keyboard, but F2, F8 or F12 will not do anything, I can't here the disk hard powerup but it's like no one is at home. I don't know if it's the motherboard or the onboard battery. The computer is about 7-8 years
Can anyone help.
It s certainly nothing wrong with a RTC battery (as you said internal battery).
The RTC battery can be charged. The unit must be turned on and adapter must be connected at least for about 18 hours.
But I guess that this isn't a problem. The laptop does not start because of a hardware malfunction, but it's hard to say what role may be affected. But you should absolutely consult the RAM modules.
This should be the first step, since the RAM modules are easy to replace. All other parts should be checked by the type of service.

Satellite Pro L10 will not start the system
Hello!
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L10, which won't work for some reason any.
The last time that I used it, it worked perfectly fine, but now all I get is a black filtered message on "windows starts do not successfully»
It indicates that the computer is not responding and asked me to choose one of the five options - safe mode, safe mode with network, security mode command, last known configuration, prompt or start windows normally.
There is also a 30 second countdown if I do nothing the portable samekh automatically.
It is, none of these things work.Everything that happens with any option is to a thought very much time on things, then it goes to a black screen with a time/processing bar downstairs, then when that ends it turns itself off, samekh, mw windows page shows (with f2 and f4/f10? options) and the process is repeated.
He did about 50 times now and still nothing.
I tried the command ctrl/alt/del, I tried to turn if off and try again, I even opened the f options but I don't know enough about computers to do more.Help, please!
If possible I would like to get the computer on long enough to verify what documents I have on this subject before I can back up (if necessary) and restore it to the factory settings (as I predicted), or if this is not possible, I do not think that there is a lot to lose in this respect in any case, am prepared to take it all back to factory if necessary. I have all necessary installation CD and manuals to go with.
hope this makes sense and I gave you all you need to know.
Thanks, B
It seems that the laptop is not able to boot the system, but I m not quite sure if it s because of the defective system or HARD drive corruption.
If it s just a system problem, the installation of the new Windows operating system should help you to get it resolved. In case the HARD disk is defective, you need to replace the HARD drive and reinstall the system.

I have a Satellite Pro L300 and it does not connect to Wifi after hibernation. The only way to do it is to restart the pc.
Any suggestions?
Hello!
I m using a Satellite L300, which should be similar to yours and I peut t noticed this problem. WiFi works perfectly without any problems.
In any case, I would recommend updating the driver WLAN and the BIOS. The two you can find on the Toshiba site:

My new Satellite Pro L300 will not work
I bought a new Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 on eBay. I connected all the cables according to the installation guide. At first he asked my details, then I logged in and it went to a pages where he says he was preparing. Then I was sent to the newspaper in the section, and the same page appeared saying that he was preparing.
After what happens about 5 times, he went to a black screen where the only thing I could see was my mouse cursor.
I closed and restarted, I tried to go into the settings using F12. I was not able to work at all, no matter what I do.
Unfortunately, I don't have a CD of the OS, but it was announced as having Vista as OS and have Microsoft Office Suite on him as a built-in wireless modem, so it was supposed to be ready just to turn it on. Well I can't even turn it on.What should I do? How should I do?
At first, I must say that F12 has nothing to do with all the settings.
At this point, I recommend using the new operating system installation using the HDD recovery procedure.
How to proceed as a result of this document, you can find > http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htmWhen the OS is installed and started up properly first thing you need to do is to create the disc of recovery facilities. "You can do it using preinstalled" Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator. The shortcut is placed on the desktop.

Satellite Pro L500 will not start on battery only
Hello!
I recently bought a Satellite Pro L500 and have the following problems.
My laptop does not start on battery only. The Green led comes on and stays with the laptop in a gel (nothing appears on the screen).
The only way to get this light off is to remove the battery.Starts EVERY time with AC power connected (with or without battery)-normal lights are displayed when connected.
Works quite normal, once started - with or without power connectedSOMETIMES starts with the battery only if I boot in a short time after I've used the laptop
I tried the static release process but does not work. (hold button power supply without battery or power supply connected etc..)After having this problem, I've updated to the latest version of the BIOS but nothing helped
Tried a different battery and did not help
Is a Toshiba Satellite PRO L500 T4400 4GB 15 "laptop Win7 - only 3 weeks or so oldVery annoying!
Please anyone with a solution?Hello
Try this.
Remove the battery, disconnect the adapter and then wait a while. I would like to leave it disconnected for about 12 hours.
Together the two parties again, charge the battery and then remove the power adapter.
Then try to turn on the unit using only the battery. If that does not help, then you should get in touch with your ASP as fast as possible since the guarantee is valid and would cover all the checks of the equipment and replacements.

Satellite Pro L10 will not start - the LED blinks
I have a pro l10 phone which, after sutting down as battery not return to life. All I get is 8 flashes on battery led when the button is pressed. It's the same area only, battery only or both.
It sounds bad
Generally, the laptop LED flashes as there might be a hardware malfunction.
The LED provide a microcode and the technician can read this code.
A common user is not able to read. OK maybe you can read it, but you will not find any description about the meaning of the code.
That is why it s a good idea to contact the technician in your countryBut as a first step, try this:
Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter.
Wait 20 - 30 minutes and then plug in the battery and plug in the AC adapter.
