  HI I have a Satellite Pro L300 under Win XP that I want to attach a USB card reader. I find that I can not read the 64 GB cards. The error is that the card is not formatted. All other cards read correctly. I can place this card reader in my desktop running Win 10 and it works correctly and reads the 64 GB cards. This seems to indicate that the USB card reader works properly, and perhaps that the problem lies in the USB on the Toshiba drivers. Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix for this. I've just updated the BIOS but no improvement. Thank you

  My Toshiba SATELLITE C75 - A will not automatically in standby mode (standby) after some time of inactivity.
  Eve works well when I trigger it manually with the start menu and when I do not use the mouse or keyboard for a while, the screen turns off. But neither sleep nor put into hibernation is turned on after the interval set in the energy saving plan.

  Have you tried to activate the Hibernate mode and standby manually by using the powercfg command?

  Here is a list of possible options regarding the powercfg command:

  For example with the command * powercfg-h on * turns the hibernation feature on or off.
  You can use also returns a list of devices that support hibernation or sleep

  By the way: what system are you using?

  In addition, you can try to activate or disable the PCIe Link State Power Management in Windows

  Go to control panel-> Power Options-> advanced power plan settings
  Here, scroll down and expand PCI Express and Link State Power Management.

  Currently setting (without battery) or on battery and sector, open the drop-down menu, select Off or ON and click OK.
  If you select No, there is no energy savings, and current runs regardless of which state that the laptop is in. (depending on whether your laptop is plugged or not).
  On battery: Off = PCI Express even will communicate using the power of the battery.
  Plugged in: Off = PCI Express communicates when it is connected as well.

  What operating system do you use?
  Have you checked for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager?
  If you connect USB devices to the normal USB port it works?

  Brand-new Satellite L50-C03E laptop pad touch does not work. Upgrade to Windows 10. Tried using all combinations of F5, FN & F5, don't hit to swipe and checking settings and nothing works.

  I guess you can use external USB mouse.
  Connect it to the laptop and uninstall the old touchpad software / driver for Windows 10 system. You should find it in Control Panel → programs and features.

  After the the touchpad driver has been removed, restart the laptop and win 10 updates.

  It would be very interesting to know if this solution allows you to get the touchpad working again.

  More don't forget to connect its completely directly to a wall outlet and not by some power strips, surge protectors, etc.

  If the same results persists, try temporary disconnect a cable from the back of the printer in order to isolate any possible cause (e.g. fax, USB cable, etc.), remove one cable at a time and to check for the difference.

  I suggest starting with telephone wires, telephone line condition as example may prevent the printer from sleep remaining.
