Re: Screen is just black

When I turn on my computer everything was normal. But then the display lights. It is just black. Everything seems to be normal.

Connect your knees to an external monitor to check if it is displayed. If it works, something wrong with lap deep internal. Otherwise, it may be a vga card. Another point, you played with Fn + F5?

    Hello

On some machines, the pilot for 11 series IMEI has been known to cause that kind of question of the judgment, so it may be worth trying an earlier version.

Try to use the following method to see if you can install an earlier version of the driver IMEI.

Download driver IMEI on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66001-66500/sp66228.exe

Disable your wireless card (should be f12 ).

Open your download folder and run the installer - it warns you that it is an earlier version, but simply continue.

    When finished, restart the laptop.

If the computer shuts down correctly, turn on your wireless adapter and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the driver IMEI again.

  • iPhone 5 c screen is just bright black

Okay, so I have an iPhone 5 c (get back in. 2013?) and it fell literally in less than 2 inches above the ground, and now it's just Black Gloss.

Glossy black, I mean, it's like when you turn on your phone and the screen is on, but it is only black for a few seconds. Then the Apple logo appears.

However, my problem is that my phone is on, but it's good just to black color. I can turn it off and turn it on. When I lock it, that's normal - it must be turned off and black. When turned on, however, it shines all black. I rebooted my phone, too, but seems not yet the Apple logo. I can still hear the sounds, and the screen stays black when I get a notification, but that's really all.

I charge my phone at a decent percentage before that happened, incidentally.

Not sure if this has anything to do with the situation, but:

I broke my phone one or two times in the past (I'm pathetic), but fixed it and everything was fine. However, the last time that I broke it ago (?) 4 - ish months, when I came back, was not the touch screen was responsive as usual. The screen was not yet in place. He jumped a little in some corners.

Anyway, I don't really know what I'm going to do about it.

    Please answer.

    Hi rachelnp,

It doesn't sound like your iPhone is booting and working except for the black screen. I don't know if he responds to Siri, but it looks like it would be another good test.

It also seems you did a good job of troubleshooting.  It seems that the next step is to try to restart when it is plugged in

Get help with the screen on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you see a screen of solid color (black, white or blue)

    1. Connect your device to a power source. If you see the low battery screen when you plug in, charge your unit for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad) before using it.
    2. Force restart your device while it is connected.
    3. If this does not work, restore your device.
    4. If you still see the question after the restoration, contact Apple technical support.

Step 1 you have already done.

    Take care.

  • Tecra M3 - when the motorized screen is completely black

    Hi all

I really need help with this one!
I plugged my tour through an S-video to a flat screen and watched a movie and throughout the film, everything worked very well. I stopped regular and normal. Went home and it start and started regularly and I go into my profile and startup programs started running; It froze!

The mouse icon was surrounded in a cube that was slightly shaded vertical lines. I restarted my computer and as it started showing the logo "XP" when it starts, it displays blue line oriented vertically once more but in the whole of the totality of the screen in groups of 4, all the corners of the screen, then when it is supposed to display your profile to choose to sign in there went blue and showed and error gives me enough time to read and stop.
When restarting again the screen is completely black and never displays anything.

I am able to connect via s-video for device that never to see the picture or just a regular screen but the problem now is that it shows these crazy characters across the screen as a sign with the point on top and courses I m able to do the options because I'm familiar with computers , but it does not allow to run regularly.

I need help please this situation!

    Hello!

Akuma's right, if you have the same problem on an external monitor s seems to be that the motherboard or the graphics chip is defective and must be replaced.

In your case I would contact an ASP. They can check your laptop and swap the motherboard.

  • Satellite A500 - screen is completely black

I got my laptop Satellite A500 for about 4 months and already there is a problem with it.

After that I had played a few MMO on it for a while so I decided to power out of the night. The next day I started my A500 and there was a completely gray screen and I waited for at least half an hour before holding the power button for 6 seconds just to restart, so when my A500 started to the top of the screen was completely black, but the power LED light was off, but the only lights which were the key commands on the Panel next to the screen and the power light to indicate that it carried out.

After several tries, the problem had been held, is anyway to fix this?

    Hi mate,

Have you plugged an external monitor? I mean without it it's hard to say what causes this problem, but I guess that he associated material s. So if the external proceedings, I think that only the internal display is the cause maybe the FL inverter?

Anyway, in both cases you need assistance from an authorized service provider. Guys can check your laptop and fix it for you. :)

  • 2015 Macbook screen unexpectedly to black discolouration

    Hello world!

My brand new Macbook 2015 (just out of the box) has this funny quirk where the screen fades to black in an unexpected way. After a bit of aggressive mice that she Wiggles wakes up upward. It's as if the machine goes in mode 'sleep', even if I'm in the middle of using it (in typing, etc.)

Is this a fault? Or is - can I enter a command that is switching off? Or she interacts with my iPhone somehow?

My last mac is 7 years old, I'm still getting used to a lot of the functionality.

    Thanks for your time.

  • Problem with screen macbook pro black bar on the left

I'm pretty new to owning a mac.  I went to pick him up today on my mac and the screen was just a bar unique black thumbs on the left side.  Then the rest of the screen changed between white and colors scrambled and now it's pink with mixed green bars.  It changes each time I try to reboot.  The strange part is that when I connect to my TV it works on my TV.  I don't know what to do.

You have a hardware problem that can't be dealt with at an Apple store genius bar or a FSAA.  From your description, there is a problem with the display or display connection.  Make an appointment for a FREE evaluation.

  • Satellite A210 - the screen is just completely blank

    Hello

I recently bought this laptop and I am generally satisfied. However, sometimes the screen will just totally Virgin (black screen) prevents me from doing something. I end up having to manually turn it off and restart it. Anyone know why this happens, or if someone else has encountered this problem?

If no how to fix this problem to Toshiba, is there a specific e-mail address?

    Thank you for your help,

    CP

I have recorded similar problems on different series notebook running Vista. It s no matter what series it is.
I'm sure that it s a Vista problem and should be solved with the new SP1 version.
But note; the SP1 is not published official and I would recommend waiting until a final version has been released.
I read that the beta SP1 makes certain disorders and is not fully compatible with some drivers.

I installed all those on site pilot Toshibas to this model and stands still as no driver in the Device Manager.

I also noticed that sometimes the computer goes black screen on me.
Do not fall asleep, but go just black. Any ideas on what causes this?

    Maybe the driver problem?

    Hello

Driver Ethernet means both: LAN or WLan.
What device is already listed in device-> network cards Manager?

If the LAN card is already listed then you need WLan card driver.
If the wireless network card is listed then you need to install the LAN driver.

With regard to the black screen.
This happens if you touch the laptop for some time t n?
S notebook my screen password if I put t touch for a while.
I put the settings in Toshiba Power Saver-> screen and the screen turns OFF after 10 min.

  • Screen fades to black

I have the series g of HP Pavilion G7-1281nr computer laptop (Windows 7) I bought the Black Friday of 2011. I have not abandoned or spilled something on it so she just a little more than a year of normal wear and tear.

Last week, he has started doing something that I worry can cause a few problems. I would like to stress that I change all the settings and it does when it has a full battery, plugged or not.

When the screen goes black after inactivity and returns to the login screen, I just move my touch mouse and the screen comes back. I log in and then the screen goes black again. Then I move the mouse and the screen returns but then the screen goes black again. Then I move the mouse and then the screen goes black again. It usually does this somewhere between 3 - 5 times.

I'm worried that it might have something to do with the screen out or could worsen at the level of other computers I've seen where the screen turns off for longer periods of time. I really hope someone can help me with this before that. Unfortunately, I'm beyond my warranty if this feels like my best game.

    Thank you for reading.

    Hello

The first thing I would try is to use Recovery Manager to reinstall your driver graphic original - how to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

    Recovery Manager - Windows 7

After reinstalling, restart the computer and check if it helped the issue.

  • 60 HP G Series notebook PC: need help with Hp 60 G screen flickers to black then returns if repositioned screen?

First the 8.1 update stinks.  This operating system doesn't do well with a laptop no touchscreen.  The system will not wake up after the cover is closed. I have to restart with a difficult start.  Also when I tap the screen suddenly goes black vibration and movement of the laptop itself. If I set the screen before and behind the screen back to normal. I think it's only a matter of time before this constant back and forth of movement to loosen the screen completely and more severe the wires that connect the Panel to the keyboard.  ORRRRRRRRRRRRR I'll just throw the frustration!

    Help someone!

Your windows just install the latest graphics drivers...
    As for the screen.

  • Screen of 7140 black place Pro 11 where put on

    All,

I have a coming 11 Pro 7140 8Gb / 256GB and am facing a problem where the machine not turn on the screen.

The power failed when the machine was asleep/idle (click on the button side, wide screen). Now, when I try to turn on the machine, I get a buzzer to indicate that the machine is turned on, but no display. If I give the machine for 10-15 seconds, I press the windows key to get a vibration, indicating that the machine to windows loging screen - only I don't see it because the screen is always black. Incidentally I've also had this happen on my old 7130 place, but has been able to reset hard.

    So far I have tried:

Now the power button for 10 + seconds
Now the power button for 30 seconds
Holding the power and volume down (which causes the screen to cycle colors full screen: blue green red black white.) Looks like a test function)
Now power + volume (no answer)
Now power + windows key (no answer)

Following the instruction given in another thread of dell support, I also unplugged the main battery. I was not confident to disconnect the CMOS battery because the connector Disconnect method was not too clear and I was worried about damaging it.

The machine has been in charge of 5 hours - then also a full battery now.

Are there any brilliant suggestions as to what I can do next?

A few days ago that I met the same problem with my 7140.  The question was clearly linked to my dying battery keyboard.  I took the same steps that you did with no luck!  However, I am happy to say that the unit is now in place and running after STALL main battery, CMOS battery and all the cables in water under the main battery.  I also removed the SSD.  Once everything has been deleted, I pressed the power button for 60 seconds, drain current in the system and he left in the morning to the evening (about 10 hours).  I held the power button for 60 seconds, then replaced everything mentioned above.  The first start was slow, but he has been back to normal since then.  I have re-flashing the bios with the latest version just in case any data UEFI has been altered by the question, which is certainly possible, since the issue prevents even the UEFI to load correctly.

I recommend, if you use a keyboard of the battery, do not use during an attempt of the steps above.  It was clearly the problem for me, diagnostics tests run since getting my Tablet upward clearly demonstrated.  Good luck!

  • iPhone 6 my screen is all black with white lightning

The screen is all black with white flashes when I turn it on. Is it a broken screen / digitizer or would it be a hardware problem? This also happened to me a months I did a factory reset. The screen flickered a few minutes after, but was wrong after that until now. Tried to do the same thing again with no luck.

I suspect a hardware problem. But try:

-If failed and that you cannot completely turn completely the iOS device, leave the battery to drain completely. After loading a hour repeat the foregoing.

    -Try a different cable

    -Try on another computer
