• BlackBerry smartphones HELP! Cannot play audio clips incorporated in the news sites such as CBS 880 AM

  I'm interested in listening to these audio clips directly from my blackberry 9650, but the only way I'm able to do is their conversion on my laptop first using realplayer converter and then upload them to my blackberry.  Is there a way I can do it right from my blackberry?  Why I try to do, I get a blank screen.

  As I said, there no Flash Player to BlackBerry... yet.

  RIM and Adobe have announced future solutions for the Flash on the BlackBerry, but nothing yet.

  You should be able to batch process files. Just add several files to your conversion work, and she's going to go through one by one.

  Another option (if you want a little more control over the conversion process) is to try the hand brake. It batch processing, allowing you to apply different video profiles to each video you want to convert (if you want to perform additional processing on specific videos). However, if RealPlayer Converter works for you, I'd recommend sticking with that.

• Old software vs new OS. Can I acquire a new multimedia player, or convert my video files?

  I have a bit of outdated software, it seems, mostly because my last machine 'death', I migrated everything everywhere, however, there were several changes to the operating system, since I bought my last machine and a large part of the software on it is not compatible. The good news is that my old machine is not dead, so I can still use the programs and do the work for which I acquired it. I just have to work on that this is not necessary on this machine, which has need to update (money) and that I just need to keep it as it is. I learned and have read that DivX, I also is not good. I have only, because it was the only media player that would allow me to display some files; QuickTime and realplayer are not.   VLC Player has been my go to Mac/PC for years, it's free, that's for sure, it plays everything I throw at it.

  My problem is quite similar to what the thread "Sansa Media Converter sees no file." I open my videos in the add media window and navigate to the folder to download realplayer. When I open it, however, all I get is a blank screen. Rhe SMC will not display videos realplayer?

  These arnt taken in charge with SMC. You can find other video converters into a formula that works on the CMS. Searching this forum for the list of Formats that SMC agrees, then Google for a converter for your files in one of these.

  I didn't have a problem until 2 days ago... I downloaded some new realplayer (flash) video files, but one of them seems to be a MPEG-4 file (.. all the files in my video file realplayer are flash videos)... this curious MPEG-4 file will not be deleted: when I try to send it to the Recycle Bin, he refuses to convert & go... I also tried a system restore (with turned off Norton) who failed twice, so I went back to the last known good configuration using advanced startup... options that make no difference (..) I guess the restoration & configuration options are not going to make a big difference in any way, if these programs do not change or delete your personal files...)

  This MPEG-4 file would contain some type of malware unrecognized by Stopzilla or Norton?  Can I download another anti-spyware program and another scanner?

• My new 23 Pavilion is equipped with software that plays music CDs and converts them to MP3

  Well the title says it all. I have a new Pavilion A6 VISION AMD 23

  I wanted to play a music CD and the melodies were converted to MP3 on a flash or on my Motorola Xoom. Let's just say a flash drive for now.  What is the procedure?

  Can I save and save it somewhere first and then convert them?  The 23 Pavilion comes with software that does this? How about Realplayer or Media Player? I also have the Cyberlink Media Suite together.

  I am trying to edit videos.  When transferred from my digital camera to my computer, I found them to be easily playable in Windows media player.  But when transferred to a flash drive to transport them to a friends computer, they came on it's computer to friends as having been backed up in RealPlayer format.  This totally f * s.  We want no matter how lucky we are to do the editing. The consensus among my friends, is that it must be something that Windows 7 is done automatically in spite of the fact that I chose to say them in another format.  Make Windows 8 for the same thing?  How convert them out of RealPlayer?

  Actaully, Windows Media Player does not support the RealPlayer files as well as .ra, .ram .rmvb. As you mentioned that it plays fine in Windows Media Player, it is clear that he is not a RealPlayer file format.

  When RealPlayer (or any other media player) is installed, they tend to change the types of files by default to themselves, even if some file types are associated with other programs (such as Windows Media Player). To resolve this problem, access the properties of the file and note the extension. Then, click Start, type "default programs". Select one you find under programs. In the login window, select "associate any type of file or Protocol with a program.  You will find (Extension) name, Description and current default columns. Find the file extension that you noted, click on Change Program-> choose Windows Media Player-> click Ok. The file will be opened in Windows Media Player by default, in the future.

  Note that Windows does not change the files of the user by itself, at any time.

  There are free converters (desktops and online) you can get this conversion for you. My favorite is the converter of RealPlayer. I have no problems with the quality or quantity. Only downside is that RealPlayer tends to be advertisement galore.

  Of course, you can also get Office 2010 and add the video here, but I do not recommend the use of Movie Maker and settle for these (pay, but better) video editors:

  I would like to convert AAC to MP3 audio files.  How can it be done?  I would like to transfer my songs on a flash drive to plug into my car audio system to play my songs.  The interesting thing is that on my drive hard it shows that the music file is MPEG-4 audio type - this type of file will play on stereo car if I copy these files directly to a flash drive.

  MPEG-4 audio is another description for files to AAC format or .m4a.

  Import or convert the format is defined in Edition > Preferences > General > import settings. You will lose a little quality by converting, so you would normally keep the originals. Define a flow similar to the original. Don't serve him no 128 k AAC 320 k MP3 conversion.
