Rear battery options W550s

Lenovo offers three alternatives for the rear battery: 23 w/h, w/h 48 and 72 w/h. However, there are no photos or data sheets on the site, so you can see the differences. If someone can tell me the specifications or the photographs, I'd be happy.

I am particularly interested how much further the Wrh 48 pushes the device out of the table as the 23 w/h for cooling.

Below pictures are a W550s with 23Wh battery rear sitting on top an another W550s with 72Wh rear battery:

  • Battery options HP DV6z-7200?

My original battery seems to go wrong, I was wondering what are the options I have had regard to the upgrade. I'd like to get a high battery if possible one with living cell 9 or more. Is it those who are compatible with my model? My laptop model numble is B5Y65AV.

Not sure what you mean by high? "Extended" means it works more long and the 9 cells are extended. Also, it is larger and makes a bump on the bottom of the laptop raising the rear that can help with cooling if that's what you hear. The battery is sometimes called a MU09 that looks like this:

The laptop is on two circulars rubber 'feet' on the bump.

You will need to replace the battery. Of course it will run hot because the charging circuit runs probably 100% of the time with a defective battery.

    I think I'll buy a 23Wh battery with additional 68Wh

  • W550s: 40% to 90% battery management does not

It seems that the battery Manager software is buggy. Can someone explain the bahvior I see?

New W550s running Windows 7 Pro, includes only rear battery external. Since I typically leave it plugged, I took the advice of Lenovo power manager as well as a custom profile fresh levels which should allow the battery discharge to 40% and then load it up to 90%. I saw what this once, but now it is just stuck to one level.

Here is a recent experience. Computer is plugged, the level is 90%. I unplug it and work for a little while and drops to 85% level. I Plug and level remains at 85% - does not drop, is not going to the top. A few days later, I unplug and work and eventually the battery falls to 65%. Use it to back in days later, he is still 65%, even if I continue to use that plugged while.

I don't want to have to manually manage the battery, but that seems to be the only thing that works!

The current behavior is intentional behavior.

It there is no real way to do what you described, except Power Manager clearly has a similar function to operate on battery even with attached AC (Peak Power Scheduler in power programs).

  • Will be my 9 2 batteries Lithium Ion battery configuration be oversized on my dv7t? Help!

I personalized and bought a dv7t quad yesterday, and I selected 2 9 cell battery lithium-ion as its battery option. There was no warning that the battery is oversized. Please tell me that the battery is not oversized, or if it is, that my computer itself will be able to adapt the ordinary batteries that usually leave oversized. Thank you very much.

He has only one battery at a time. Ardennes 9 cells out a bit and will raise the rear end of the laptop off the surface, it's sitting on, but it's usually a good thing. When you order 2 batteries, extra and the two does not in the laptop at the same time unless you get a special battery that replaces the optical drive, and I don't know which is even offered more.

You can buy one of the 9 cells and a 6 cells which do not curved. All dv7 batteries are interchangeable. Or it is perhaps not too late to change your order and receive a regular 6-cell and a spare cell 9.

  • 5s short battery life iPhone, phone like new 6 months.

I bought my iPhone about 6 months ago. I have problems with the battery life. I plug all night. Unplug in the morning and about 4 hours he spends 100% to 40%, even without me using the telephone. I thought to buy a new battery from Amazon and change myself. I found videos on YouTube showing how do, and it seems very easy to do. Someone out there chaned their own battery before? Was it easy to do? And your phone has worked for you once you have changed your battery yourself?

Just thought I ask. I am one of these people if it's something I can do for my part, I do. Does anyone has an entry on the situation before I try this on my own?

    Hello

The battery on the iPhone is not replaceable by the user. The battery - if that is the real problem - is covered by the limited warranty of one year of Apple.  If the iPhone is out of warranty, Apple also offers a service of the battery. The cost for this varies across countries (currently $79 in the United States, for example).

However, as a first step, I suggest that you try to solve the problem of life battery. You can, for example, to consider measures such as:

If the problem persists, I suggest you contact Apple technical support or make a Genius Bar reservation for assistance in identifying / confirming the issue and, if necessary, to set up your service from the available battery options, time and cost.

  • Satellite L450D - 11 H - WLan works does not during the execution of a battery

    Hello world

    I have a portable Satellite L450D - 11: running the Windows 7 operating system.

When my laptop is plugged my wireless connection works fine.
But when I unplug the unit and just run using the battery, my wireless connection works.

I examined the power settings and changed the battery option of "Performance Maximum when wireless.

But I still have the same problem. This could be a driver problem?

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Eventually the Wlan card settings are defined security power when the laptop is running on battery power.
    Try this:
Go to Device Manager-> select WLan card-> properties-> advanced

Check if there are a few options that could disable energy saving.
In addition, you should take a look in the last tab. There should be such option also.

    See you soon

    Hello world

I recently had the fantastic A500-1GL which was great... all out of this really irritating noise that occurs when the battery is less than 10%.

Two of these sounds are different from that which is me crazy Drivin'. Its a very basic system beep and plays every 10 seconds or more. I NEED to know how to disable this feature because it drives me crazy! I can lower the sound, but having ovious disavatages!

    Can someone help me please?

Please enter the advanced power settings and check battery options here.
Change settings for low and critical battery level (lower level fixed) and also check the battery notification low option. Here you can disable.

  • Battery on Satellite U400 problem

I bought my dad a Satellite U400 laptop 10J for her birthday there is a little less than 2 years. More than 60 years and not too keen on the use of a laptop computer, he left the unit in her closet for nearly a year before turning on. The first problem with the laptop materialsed turns don't not on with the error "battery not recognized." Subsequent update of the BIOS got the laptop so that it starts. However, despite the now (or appearing to be charged) battery can hold only about 10 minutes of charge. It got progressively worse until it is the only way to use the laptop to keep constantly plugged in. As you can imagine, limiting the usefulness of having a laptop in the first place.

I got back to the retailer and given that I had bought extended warrantly, hoped that they would replace the battery. They refused, indicating that the battery is not covered and that, by not using not the first laptop after buying, I had damaged the battery current.

Is this possible? Can do a battery irrevocably damaged by the inactivity? I think that the period was approximately 9 months, during which it had not yet unpacked it in the box.

If that is the case, are optionally spare batteries or should I order a battery Toshiba orginal? Also, are there long lifetime battery options available for this model?

    Thanks in advance

Yes, it can happen. It is recommended to charge the battery full, even if not used. You must use original Toshiba batteries do not think that it is extended life battery available

Hello. Today morning, I tried to load my vibe shot with my laptop, so turned on the charging mode. Since, it has no USB option when I connect it to any PC, it just charges. Search mobile for half an hour, if there is no option for this, but there is none, and I can't use my cell phone to transfer data. Would be really happy if I can help. Thank you.

  • Is it possible to display the percentage of battery on the bar using settings of tasks Lenovo?

I have a Lenovo z51 on Windows 10 and I want to be able to look at the task bar and immediately know the percentage of my battery without my mouse hovering over him who has the white battery option by default.

One of my friends with a ThinkPad has this option and the battery meter is very similar to the option of OneKey Optimizer (OKO). I want to know if I can do something similar with my ThinkPad laptop - not for I can remove OKO.

If you open the program called Lenovo settings > Gear in bottomleft corner > activate the battery meter.
