Receipt of Smartphones blackBerry BTInternet email just stopped working!

I knew that I spoke to soon (see other post: Position of the e-mail signature varies)-j' said everything worked well - as soon as I posted, my receipt email no longer works.

The situation: I have set up my BTInternet account the torch 3 weeks ago.  Everything works OK until today.

I can now send emails via my account BTInternet the torch, but I can not receive emails sent to my BTInternet account on the torch.  Just received email stopped working for no apparent reason - nothing has changed on my torch or in my BTInternet account.

I tried to remove the battery (both with the torch market), I sent service books, I deleted the account of BT on the torch and re-installed-everything to nothing does not.

I then added a second e-mail account to the torch - it works OK.  Then I forwarded all the emails sent to my BTInternet account for the second account - once again, everything is OK - I can now receive my BTInternet the torch through forward e-mails to the second account.

I can connect to via Outlook and email OK BTInternet.

So the only permutation that does not work try to BTInternet email on the torch of BT direct!

I don't know if it is a question of BB in who have problems pushing E-mail of BT - but if that's the case, why then it works perfectly OK for 3 weeks?  Or if it is a problem of BTInternet - but then why can Outlook receive emails and why a 2nd address redirection work?

It's really frustrating - one of the reasons why I swapped my iPhone for the torch is that the torch is supposed to be great in the email address!  So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just got email from Yahoo confirms it is a question of Yahoo and it's being developed on!

Although - e-mail seems to be back to normal today.  I hope that I have not spoke too soon!

    I found this on another site:

    (1.) start the Desktop Manager software

    2.) connect the blackberry using the USB connector
    3.) select "backup and restore".
    4.) select "Advanced".
    5.) look at the list of information to be displayed in the window "device memory" on your computer
    6.) select "calendar all" and delete it
    7.) go back to the main screen and synchronize them.
    8.), everything should work fine!

    Essentially, it's a data file of damaged calendar on the Blackberry device, apparently.

    I use Desktop Manager 4.7.0.32 with a Blackberry Bold (9000); I sync with Outlook 2007 and I am running Windows Vista 64-bit Ultimate w / SP1. Synchronization worked well for many years with previous blackberries, but the synchronization problem appeared after a year or two of use with my previous camera curve.  I replaced the curve with the bold thinking which damaged equipment could be the problem (one too many drops).

    However, the problem persists.  While it seems I can synchronize with success a way (from PC to BB), Director of office falls down to halfway through synchronization of calendar entries in a synchronization two-way, unless there has been no new entry calendar on the BB. The error is an error generated windows inidcating: Blackberry Desktop Manager has stopped working.

    I tried every solution I could find on the web, namely:

    • Uninstalling and reinstalling Desktop Manager, making sure that I run the installer as administrator.
    • My Blackberry wiping and reinstalling the operating system (I use 4.6.0.162)
    • Delete the Intellisync folder
    • Run scanpst on my Outlookpst file
    • Clear the entries of calendar on the Blackberry (temporary solution only)

    The latter is the only approach that has produced no results.  If I delete the entries on the Blackberry, the

    process synchronization adds them correctly, and the next time I run the synchronization, it works without a hitch.  As soon as I did all the entries on the BB unit however, Desktop Manager crashes again, and the only way I can make it work is to clear the entries on the Blackberry and start over.

    I'm several months and both handsets of BB has invested in this issue now.  I have a new fancy camera, but am recorded in writing of the appointments on paper when I am out of the office because I know they used to synchronize if I enter them at BB.  Type of defeated half the point of a blackberry...?

    Getting desperate here.  Help is appreciated.

    I had the same annoying problem that you guys have described here.
    After trough fishing a lot of post and forums I found a very surprising solution for another type of BB and a different version of the DM on XP and not Vista. Being desperate I tried and miraculously it worked!

    Start the DM BB and go - Syncronize - set - synchronisation - synchronization (button) - calendar - Advanced (button) - mapping fields (field mapping button) and I got rid of the synchronization between the flag "alarm" and the "free occupied" and the fields "invited".

    I did it and now everything works perfectly.

    I have a BB Bold, Vista Ultimate (32 bit), MSOffice 2007 (PRO) and a DMv4.7.

    The 8100 model has no predictive texting.

    There SureType. You can activate in the Options > language.

    Or, from any area where you can type text, press the menu key and select "activate Mult-tap." To turn it on, do the same thing but select 'Enable suretype.'

    Could mean that the calendar on the BlackBerry database is corrupted. Are the entries in Outlook until data on the BlackBerry? If so you can try out the BlackBerry database, and then synchronize again. To clear the database on the BlackBerry, go to the backup and restore | Advanced. On the right, you will see the BlackBerry databases. So you can choose the calendar, then click on the delete button. That will remove all entries from the BlackBerry calendar. Then try to sync.

    Try reinstalling the common modules.
    First remove it from the Add & Remove programs. Then restart the laptop and install the downloaded again common modules.

    Try a test message with Norton shuts down completely. If it works, remove Norton and do a custom Setup, opting out e-mail Scanner when it is offered. Sometimes just turn off is not enough.

    Restart it.  Right-click on computer and choose manage.  Affirm the UAC prompt.  When the console opens, find "Services" in the left pane, then select it.  In the right pane, drag down to "Print spooler" and click it.  Then click on the "Start the Service" button on the button bar.

    Buy an inexpensive wired USB mouse for less than $5 and see if it works.  As far as I'm concerned wireless mice are more trouble than they are worth.  YMMV :-)
