PC with Win XP SP3 cannot see router Linksys 1200, although it is there and connected.
Friend got new router Linksys E1200. Initially set up with the PC above and worked fine for a week or two.
Then loss of the connection.
IPhone and MAC laptop work very well on the same network and laptop can access 192.168.1.1 but PC don't even see it.
Diagnosis of IE says winsock error.
Re-directed configuration Cisco on PC, but it failed to honor or find the router, even if the network is showing that connections wireless connected successfully to.
Unintalled Cisco and tried to reinstall, but it fails the process because he can't see the router.
Update firmware as suggested for router (via MAC laptop) - now V2.004 or something else.
Changes security wireless WEP etc attempts but makes no difference. Changing the settings in the router itself does crashing. Had to reset to the factory settings and to reconfigure a number of times already, what she does very well on the laptop, but not at all on the PC.
Any other suggestions?

2. type cmd in the search text box, and then pressCtrl-Shift-Enter (keyboard shortcut to run as administrator command prompt). Clickcontinue to allow elevation request.
3. type netsh winsock reset in the command line shell and then press theenter key.
4 type netsh int ipv4 reset in the command line shell, and then press theenter key.
5 If you are using ipv6, type netsh int ipv6 reset in the command line shell, and then press the enter key.
Note: You may need to run the Network Diagnostics later to repair your connection after that.

Win 7 computer cannot see the computers on the network
We have 3 computers on our network. A desktop computer running a laptop running Win 7 x 64, an office equipped with Win Vista and Win XP. All 3 are connected to the same workgroup and are properly connected to the internet. The two workstations can see and the laptop on the network and can move the files to the laptop, but the laptop cannot see other computers on the network. Whenever I try to open the network to move files to another computer, the icon just mouse sits and turns and the page remains blank. I thought that maybe he just needs time to see everything, left like that for hours without success. I went through all the troubleshooting steps in the win7 with nothing working Help Center. I don't understand why, if all the computers are on the same network, they can see me, but I don't see them. I am obviously connected properly so they can move the files to my computer. Toshiba Kira - Win 8.1 cannot see all files on the 64 GB flash drive

Newbie on this forum. I just bought the i5 8 GB of RAM Windows 8.1 Kira Ultrabook, a great little machine.
I have a SanDisk 64 GB flash drive that has about 20 GB on it in a dozen files. These folders and the content can be seen by my Windows 7 PC, even my mobile phone and Tablet Tower.
However, the Kira cannot see both files, even if in the properties of the drive, he sees the space correctly. Turned on all folders and no difference.
My wife has a 32 GB flash - no problem.I reformatted the flash disk, run a virus on the disk and the Kira. The Kira can someone verify the maximum size flash can see it please? I can't find it in any documentation.

I am networking two xp with a model of wind 7 comps. The comp. xp is missing on the c:properties the sharing tab / sharing and stock selection. I can not access this comp. on the network. I get a message that the comp. is is not available... The other XP has the tab and I set up the sharing with everyone on my computer of wind 7 and I can see it under permissions. Win 7 install cannot see hard drive
My office has a dual boot with two RAID 0 configuration bays (2 x 40 GB SSD Corsair and 2 x 230 GB Seagate Barracuda) with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on each table. I wanted to convert the largest to a standard IDE configuration with a clean install of Windows 7. I disconnected one of the 230 disc gig and put the other 230 as an IDE drive in the Intel Storage Manager. Now, it appears in the BIOS and I can see as a D: drive in Windows, but Windows 7 install do not.
With most large raid so disabled both Windows 7 boot choice appeared again during the boot, but of course that one can load. I tried to fix things with msconfig, which showed the two BONES, and I removed the disabled. But Windows 7 install again does not see the drive of 230 gig. (It's the disk Win 7 Upgrade btw)
How can I resolve this installation issue?
(1) you remove the existing partition and reformat the hard drive before installing Windows 7 on it? If this is not the case, do.
(2) also the 230 GB drive must be connected to a standard SATA (Non RAID) port before installing Windows.
What drives when using two pairs as RAID configurations has the "System" partition, it was the SSD drives or disks Seagate 2 x 230. I guess the system partition is on the SSD you can still start Windows with only the connected Yes SSD? If Yes, then the steps 1 & 2 above are still valid.

The problems started when Firefox updated 13. tried to download the latest version of Flash 11.2.202.235. No change.
Video works sometimes on YouTube, not at all on most of the other sites.
Audio player not working do not at all. Not yet visible or Real Player downloads against playing within the application like Amazon.

Thank you. I uninstalled Flash 11.3 and installed the old version, 10.3. Everything works fine now. I don't know if it is a problem of Mozilla or Adobe, but it seems strange that either would such a problem of incompatibility to exist.
