• 80073AA2 Windows Vista error code update KB973917 and KB970430 Frustration!

  I have a problem installing the updates on my 32-bit Windows Vista laptop. I have both updates KB973917 and KB970430 both indicate the error code 80073AA2 and two KB976325 and KB971737 updates showing the error code 800F0826.  The laptop has the message that it is install update 3 of 3, is 100% then says that the updates have not been configured correctly - he keeps trying to install updates.

  I find it quite frustrating because this is the second time (the last was SP2) this year that updates have not properly configured and as a geek no I'm not able to settle this issue myself!  I got a very helpful guys at Microsoft call me before; However, if I can get some advice on how to fix myself I would be very grateful!

• Errors during update of vista and use automatic updates. (Codes 0x8000fff and A 8024, 000)

  I have a laptop HP HDX16. Recently, the hard drive has not then I replaced and the restore CD to return to factory settings. It's windows vista edition Home premium 64-bit with service pack one.

  I use a usb huawei modem to connect to the internet, however, the drivers would not install properly.

  I used another computer to download a version of service pack 2. However, 3/4 of the way through the installation I have error E_unexpected 0c8000ffff handler. I installed fixit 50202 I had seen on the forum, but this has not fixed the problem.

  I then tried to run the installation program stand-alone windows update (KB947821-v4) However, this resulted in the 0xc8000247 error code.

  I then tried to install the mobile fix it program to see is there something that could contribute. However there is no whenever he tried to install powershell.

  I was able to use the usb modem by starting in safe mode and allowing unsigned drivers. From here, I tried to run the automatic update, but which gave the error code A 8024, 000. The usb modem wouldn't always work outside of safe mode.

  I also tried a complete reinstall with the recovery discs, but I still get the same errors.

  Norton antivirus is pre-installed. This was also replaced, but the same errors occurred. However, I was able to successfully install other software not microsoft.

  For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

  and install the proposed pilot it (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02219204&cc=nl&lc=en&dlc=en&product). I was then able to install SP2, my usb modem worked and I was able to run the windows update, so I think that the problem has been corrected.

• Get the 80070026 error during the installation of Windows Vista SP2

  Everyway that I try to run my automatic updates for windows I get the error message with the error Code 80070026.  I have Vista service Pack 1.  I do not know there is an update for me who keeps my computer at risk or with this problem.

  I've also disabled my anti-virus (3rd party firewall) and tried to install the update. I get the same error.

  Advice or assistance on the issue would be greatly appreciated.

• 80072efd error when updating windows and messenger

  Hey my update log indicates that the last update, I was able to install and DL was 11.12.2008 after the computer I (we) gave this error message: 80072efd.

  I tried to do the steps in the resolution of the problems, but I do not have an antivirus program today (closed subscription) and my windows firewall is the default value.

  Note: I'm sorry, I do not see your Messenger reference. I saw that it fixed when messenger is the cause. Read the solution "swanands" on THIS thread and see if it works. It is one of several solutions I've seen work for 80072 EFD for MESSENGER.
