Receive the error message "Cannot sync files"
I saw possible reasons for this error, but no other information tells me what to do about it. There is the constant harassment of a window which comes on the right say "unable to synchronize files" for example screen one of the statements said "try to turn"Turn off synch"and disables" would be nice, but he wouldn't tell me how to do this. An another "helpl" said Impossible to authenticate, sign in please change your account"which would be nice, but it does not give even a hint on how to connect or change my account. I am running Windows 7. I downloaded Freecorder, when I try to open the audio portion, I receive the error message that VistaAudioLib.dll is not installed. reformatted my mac pro. copied from iPhoto from the external backup drive. received the error message saying lack of theme fonts. removed the app to be able to reinstall. but my app store it shows as installed. How I install it again. the deleted copy is missing in the trash folder too.

This occurs if the filevbscript.dll runtime script is not properly registered in the system.
Try the steps below and check if you are able to run the Microsoft fixit.
a. click the Start button, type cmd. In the result of the research with the right button on cmd and select run as administrator.
b. type cd %windir%\system 32 (Note: there is a space between the system and 32) and press ENTER.
c. type regsvr32 vbscript.dll in the command prompt, and then press ENTER.
d. type regsvr32 jscript.dll in command prompt, and then press ENTER.
If the registration was successful, you should now see the following message is displayed:
DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll successful.
e. now, try to run the Microsoft fixit.

I'm on a Mac (OS X 10.10.1) and recently changed the folder name 'users' of my system to something else. I think that I followed all the steps correctly Apple to make sure that my user account name and the directory of the user are in alignment after the change. However, the creative cloud do not update the extension / address of the location to sync files. I went into the preferences of creative Cloud and saw the location of the file ' ' was still announcing the former name for the folder my Mac user. I used the dropdown to select 'Other' and then selected the folder of the newly appointed user. Creative application Cloud then began loading (presumably to restore the sync connection), but then gave me the same error again. When I return in Cloud creative preferences, the location of the file ' ' now shows the newly named good, user folder, but I still get the same error message every time I try to turn on sync. Even with the correct file shown as the 'file location', the error message always refers to the old extension / address of the location of the file.
How can I get Creative cloud to update the address of the file? He seems to have accepted my change the 'location', but the address of the file itself has not been updated.
FYI: clicking 'Restore' option does not at all help. It produces just the same pop-up over and over again until I got disabling sync.
UPDATE: I restarted my computer and went through the same exact process above and now looks be it resolved itself. the error message no longer appears after that I have turn on sync. In my opinion, everything works fine now. Basically, it seems that the solution is to completely reboot your computer.
