Received a call from Solutions E - Pro, saying that they provide services for Windows 7
I received a phone call from a company called e-pro solutions or e-pro revolutions asking me to enter my computer information and to allow one of their technicians access to my computer due to problems they found with my system. They say they provide an online service for Windows 7 for Windows. Can anyone tell any knowledge of this company?
Hello
It is a scam and is not related to Microsoft.
Because it would be forbidden for anyone to access your computer without your permission, how would they be able to "identify problems" on your computer?
Ask them for their phone number and that you want to call back after you check with the FBI.

The call was clearly from abroad and had a bad connection.
I received a call Thursday last of someone who said they were by the Windows team and that my computer has been altered. The call was clearly from abroad and had a bad connection. Basically, they wanted to sell me something for $99. Is it a scam? Called again today and they make me nervous because I don't know that much about computers.

Received a call from phone scam someone saying my computer is infected with the virus and malware
original title: support for pc rj
I recently received a call from someone called Mark of pc rj support and they said that my computer is infected with viruses and malware. Immediately, I hang up and called my computer technician who went to my place and said: my computer is absolutely perfect... This chap Mark said he also is an employee of Microsoft, which I highly doubt. He asked me to download something that my antivirus detected as virus...
I would like to ask microsoft to focus on this
Its fake. Ignore it. There are a lot of posts here, saying: it's a scam. And this has nothing to do with Microsoft. And MS (and everyone else) are aware of this

receive phone calls from a guy who says he works for windows, please help.
Hi all, I got a phone call from a guy yesterday saying my computer downloaded currupt and Marie-Claire files and had asked, on behalf of microsoft, to contact me this was a business partner?, it was the Indian accent but did not speak good enough English if you listened well, at this point, he had my full attention that my computer was slow in the months , I explained that I had someone find and remove programs for me to speed it up, but it was persistent in getting me in front of the computer. He said he could help me and show me the problems? I asked name hes, he gave and he even new my name and what platform I was using. I don't remember the name of the company, that he said, that he was but the phone number was 0206 something something? After reading this other storys hoax here had me calm worried, he explained that the problem needs to be fixed and I must say after testing to see if he was legitimate, he even said that he would put the supervisor on... He explained to me the same thing and although I challenged somemore on what it could be anyone he said sure, but were not trying to make that you are something weird to us, cannot remember everything exactly, but I said ill insatall a virus program myself, who while he became upset, saying big companys will charge you loads just go on your computer so that I can that I you Guide in that says im? Ultimately, and after reading the other storys peoples about these scams and calls after that I hung up on him which im happy I did it, he then phones me back saying today the problem has not been corrected, in an application for Mr. family name once again on your computer. I got protection as IE firewall and software spies but I havnt got the malware protection, anyone got any idears what I can do? or how these people got my number, p.s do you recommend pc spy software new help for example?
SCAM.
When he calls again, tell him that you save the phone message. Tell him to hear again, or you must notify the police for internet fraud. Then hang up.
For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

Microsoft has none of the unsolicited telephone calls to help you fix your computer
In this type of scam cybercriminals are calling you and claim to be of Support technique Microsoft. They offer help with your computer problems. Once scammers have earned your trust, they try to steal and damage your computer with malicious software, including viruses and spyware.
Although the law enforcement can trace phone numbers, often authors use pay telephones, disposable cell phones or stolen cellular phone numbers. Better avoid fooling themselves rather than try to repair the damage afterwards.
Treat all unsolicited sceptically telephone calls. Don't provide personal information.
If you receive an unsolicited call from someone who claims to be from Technical Support Microsoft, hang up. We do not have such calls.

Last night I was rung by an Indian saying that my computer was in danger... full of viruses. They asked me to press things, and all of these viruses is appeared in a list. They asked for $246 as my Microsoft anti virus was expired, I told them I didn't have any money, but they could help me... I said that I could pay in 2 weeks. They asked a safety code 6 figures and I didn't know what they meant so they put their own remote control number and then took the remote computer for 2 hours. I don't know that I was scammed... they will ring back in 3 weeks for the payment. I can block them. I know nothing about computers so please do it in the "ENGLISH." What do you suggest me? HHEEEELLLPP!

I'm not all that warned about the computer, but I managed to find sort of tutorials to help me. But I still have problems with windows updates, firefox plant all the time I use especially it is good that told me to use firefox. My computer is very slow and Windows Defender im always invited to allow allow or deny the same programs. Being a Crawler.com and another editor says not available but in its URL, it says that it is also time Crawler. If I deny it he returned to allow the authorization. If I allow it, it still appears upward. I think I have way to many scanner, difficulty, uninstall spyware, etc... I need essentially help clean and find the right protection and how to install updates. For the moment anyway. Thank you... PAM
I think you computer may be infested with malware/virses etc..
As you can see by (http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Viruses_Malware) a computer cleaning can take a bit of time and effort. TaurArian [MVP] 2005-2010 - Update Services

Very bad. You have been scammed.
This is a scam and that is becoming more and more common lately. But even worse, if you let them into your computer, who knows what damage they did here or what confidential information they stole.
So, I highly recommend that you do both of the following immediately:
1 do a clean reinstall of Windows.
2. change all your passwords, especially all of banks or other financial sites.

I got a phone call from a company calling itself the MSIT Experts saying that they have detected the activity of the virus on my computer, citing my name and address, which they say has been provided by Microsoft. Someone at - he heard of these people and they're authentic? Paul Rabone
Hello Paul,
Its a scam. If they call it still cling. I had 2 these calls than several of my clients and I also had them. By all accounts Microsoft do not have this kind of activity, not even through other companies.
By curiosity on where in the world are you? I was just wondering if it's a global phenomenon not only limited to the United Kingdom.
