I just got an email. Is - this truth? Anyone know? Thank you all!

It looks nothing like what Apple would send. I would like to mark as Spam and delete it.

Good luck!

  • How can I receive suspicious emails?

I've been using web mail accessed from my Earthlink home page and have the installer of my Thunderbird program. I can't find a way to receive emails which can be 'suspect' by the address of the sender not having is not in my address book. I know they have to be somewhere, but I just looked at it so long, I'm sure it's beautiful in front of my face and I am very frustrated. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. I also have a number of accessible saved e-mails from the mail program web I want to make my Thunderbird program and I am lost as to how to do it as well. Once again, thank you in advance.

I don't have an Earthlink account, so I guess here, but it looks like you may be focusing on EarthLink instead of Thunderbird. I do not think that Thunderbird requires white list by default, if you don't turn it on, it should not apply. In addition, Thunderbird should download all the mail for any account it connects, so looks like EarthLink cannot show Thunderbird the email in question (in both cases) when it connects. If the address book to have addresses on it is on the site of EarthLink, then you certainly not be able to change the behavior of Thunderbird. Perhaps you're new to e-mail applications (webmail vs), so I am going to mention that if you connect using POP, EarthLink can only display e-mail in your main Inbox and not by e-mail in subfolders. This is perhaps why you can't download all relevant messages. In this case, connection via IMAP could work for you better because you can keep your folder structure and continue to take advantage of the whitelist of EarthLink (if it is indeed one thing). To this end, if you configure an IMAP account instead, and you want to be able to access your emails without using your Internet connection, you need to configure the account accordingly. In my view, it must be configured as an account in cache or set mode caching to store messages locally. If you want to try IMAP, you should be able to set up an IMAP account without deleting a POP. Then you could disable the POP, move e-mail to IMAP, one protocol and then remove the POP one so you don't lose any message in the passage. That would send mail to EarthLink e-mail server, so if you go to a program of messaging because you run out of space in your webmail, then you'll need to use local folders and move your mail to them rather than to the IMAP account records.

I received an email that appears to come from the Windows Live team and contains MSN icons.  It is said that it is the final notice about a update of 2011 and asks I answered and confirm several pieces of personal information within 2 weeks or my account will be permanently closed.  He asked that I come home from a series of letters to confirm the validity of the email.  It is said that it is because there is a change in the service.  This is spam and if so, how to report, because there certainly seems genuine, but looks very suspicious.  The sender is * address email is removed from the privacy *.

    Hello

Which is called Spoofing and its pretty easy for a spammer to make.
Of course it makes it look like you or the other person who sent the
Messaging. Someone intercepted a mail and it may not have been
You causing him. Account of a friend could have been consulted
or even someone could have sent an email on your part for
someone else who has been compromised. Your friend can access to the
headers and block the real senders, although these will be changed
    often.

Today, I received two emails claiming that I had bought something in an application but I do not have the app it says that I had bought something from. I didn't go the details because I firmly believe that email is a scam, because the email is not legitimate. What should I do next?

  • I received an email from my address, but not send it.

I received an email from my email address, and the text was a phishing scam. I have not clicked on anything in the message. I ran my security software and found no problem. I'd do anything else? Thank you for your help.

It is not uncommon for messages of spam and phishing to have a fake sender name and address because if you're spamming, you will not use your real information. The idea behind using your name and address as the sender, it's that you're not likely to block you.

Of course, it is always prudent to consider whether someone might have actually gained access to your e-mail account, consider changing your password, but usually it's just a case of falsification of documents.

  • HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY EMAIL FROM FIREFOX INSTEAD OF SEAMONKEY

I've been using SeaMonkey to receive / send emails on my Windows XP desktop computer for many years. Recently, he refuses to download my emails to the Inbox with an error message "there is not enough disk space to download new messages. Try to delete old messages, empty the trash and compacting of your e-mail folders, and then try again. "I checked my Inbox folder and nothing in the Inbox, compression does nothing, have restarted, etc.

Can I change the base of Mozilla FireFox to receive / send emails, now that I've downloaded FireFox? If so, how do I, I do not see any mail or focus groups or anyway to set up my email on FireFox?

    Thank you
    Bill Skye

SeaMonkey is a continuation of things like web browser, customer of email, irc.

Firefox is a web browser as the e-mail is only a web browser can be told by one of the ton of webmail sites out there.

Thunderbird is the equivalent email client and is a product of the community as SeaMonkey.

If you need help with SeaMonkey, then there is a section of SeaMonkey to http://forums.mozillaZine.org

  • all emails to a contact rebounded last week. He wants to receive my emails.

Since last weekend, all the e-mails to one of my friends have bounced back for me. We sent e-mails back for years. I talked to him and he wants to continue to receive my emails. It is not on his side. I sent an email this evening for him on the site of my internet provider and it seems as if she's been through. But the e-mails from my computer tonight rebounded. I can't wait to use the Web site.
All other contacts will receive my emails without problem.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Two completely different servers. There is no comparison between the use of webmail and sent via a SMTP server. Your IP address or your provider is put to the index for spam according to the notice of rejection. Follow the steps in the link of difficulty or live with it. No one here can help you.

  • Received an email from Mozilla request for money is a scam?

You are running a campaign to ensure that we cooperate with money... I received 2 emails asking me to donate to "FIREFOX + u" is this a real request or a SCAM, I used your product for years and I think it will just cooperate, but now a day you don't know what is real or a scam... Please let me know if you really run a campaign to collect money... Thank you

At this point of time, Mozilla is asking for donations. I don't think that the email is a scam, but if you want to be sure, you can go to

It will be safe. Have a great day!

  • Every time there is an update of Firefox, I lose the ability to send a / or receive my email in Thunderbird.

Whenever there is a major update of Mozilla (Foxfire?) something goes wrong with my Thunderbird e-mail account. This time I am not able to receive my email, although it seems that I can send it. I am able to see it on the server of the ISP, so it's something with Thunderbird. I looked and didn't see anything. Help - this is a pain!

Have you thought that it might be your anti virus and not
    Thunderbird at all?

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:

    • Restart Thunderbird with disabled modules (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click "restart with disabled modules. If Thunderbird works as usual, there is an add-on or theme interfere with normal operations. You will need to reactivate the modules one at a time until you locate the offender.
    • Restart the operating system in safe mode with network. This loads only the basics needed to start your computer while allowing Internet access. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX
If the safe mode for the operating system to resolve the problem, there are other software on your computer that is causing problems. The possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as updates of the program.
