Reconnect the player shared after reconnecting to the network company

One user on windows 7 brings his return of the machine and work offline with just his desire for offline sharing, she put his cell phone in mode 'sleep' and take back to the office and network of the company, but all its share connection lead accuse still disconnected.

On his profile of connection AD, it run a login script that maps the windows share drive when it authenticates by AD, since his laptop however is in mode 'sleep' and somehow when the network she connection back to the company, the logon script does not run (or does not work correctly) causing all share offline player.

Any idea what is the correct behavior when a computer connection offline to the corporate network, it will trigger the login script? If not, we will do something in addition to making these off connection sharing reconnected in car?

Thank you very much

  • reconnection 6310 direct to the computer after being on the network

Well, the subject line sums up.  I have an officejet 6310.  It has always worked well.  Never a problem.  A year ago, I set up with a netgear router to work on a home network.  Do not remember how I did in reality.  But now I want to reconnect it directly to the computer without the network router.  Have not been able to make it work.  I tried to reinstall everything simply.  I have restored the default settings.  Device Manager indicates that driver is OK.   The computer still does not see even ' "the printer.  She cannot complete the connection.  I tried using the disk manufacturer and using the windows utility in settings of printer and fax on the control panel.  I does not uninstall and reinstall the software.

I wonder if my cable is bad.    Thanks in advance.

Ok.  Sometimes you just have to go it alone.  I thought that one of you gurus would have it solved in 10 seconds... which is the usual time when I post a prob.  It takes the interruption of the holiday season and too much eggnog.  Anyway.  Continued to work with her.  Knew it had to be something simple.  Knew when I found the problem, it would embarrass me, because I had forgotten (you know what I mean).  Finally, when I was about to say, 'I got it.  I'll pay to get hooked.  (no) ».  I opened the control panel for the humpteennth time.  The printer was represented there several times because I tried to reconnect using the software several times.  So, I deleted the and choose the original printer icon.  Reconnected.  And, Voila (or something to that effect).  In any case his work.  I know that you are happy for me.  And, if not, it is not serious, it still works.

Thank you for enduring my attempt at a humorous reminder of this episode.  Once again

  • C309g-m do not reconnect to the network wireless after the start-up

I have a question similar wireless as people before, however, I think that my case is different, somehow:

1 during the initial installation, I set the wireless settings (just select the name from the list and enter the password - there are many networks around me)

    2. everything works, connection is never dropped, the printing speed

    3. then, when I turn the printer off and then later turn it on, wireless blue led lights, but there is no connection. Running wireless network Test gives in the statement: "the wireless radio does not work. Contact HP support. The network running configuration does not help again, no wireless networks are found.

    4. However, when I unplug the printer from the power while it's on (at rest), then plug back in and turn it on (I shouldn't do this, I know) - printer is connected within seconds to the configured network and everything is OK - "no problem found", said the wireless network Test

I call HP support and they asked me in the service menu and make the semi full reset, I did. He turned me to configuration - see point a. Connected printer and was working fine until I turned it off. (I tried turning it off and on again shortly after completing installation and the printer connected correctly, however, the later, when I turned it off (but not disconnected) for a longer period of time, the question has remained.)

Yet called HP, the guy said is directives are stop here and return the printer. I said two weeks ago, I installed new cartridges place - he said to take out them. Is it really OK for a cartridge to rest just like that, to sit on a table for a week or two without drying? I said how to store the - he said leave, they'll be fine.

Y at - it a fix for this, because I don't want to be bothered with the printer until the point of transport service? Not one that follows would behave like this? And are there recommendations of store for the cartridges out of the printer? I feel I'm wasting a lot of ink in outgoing and re - install a new printer! I don't want to, this isn't my fault printer is defective.

The last question is - when it makes sense to turn off and inkjet printer. I print a few pages every couple of days. I usually turn off the printer when the working day is over and then turn it back on next day (or 2nd day) when I need it again.

I thank very you much for your help and advice!

If they send you a replacement printer, there with her ink tanks.  You can store your current printer ink tanks and use them later you 'new' printer if you wish.  Store the nozzle in place so that they do not leak.

error message for a memory card has it printed

    Hello

    ·        Have you been able to print from memory card sooner?

    ·        How are you connected to the computer from which you are trying to print?

This occurs when a computer uses the network map to connect to another computer to share files.

To fix this problem, do one or more of the following methods.

    Method 1: Control equipment

    (a) ensure that the computer with file sharing turned on.

    (b) ensure that a hub network or router is powered.

    (c) ensure that the cables are well connected.

If this does not resolve the problem, go to method 2: ensure that network resources are properly shared.

Method 2: Ensure that network resources are properly shared

Share a folder on a drive, then connect to the shared drive, follow these steps.

    Step 1:

To make a folder that is located on the accessible hard drive on another computer, follow these steps.

    (a) right click onStart and then click Explorer .

    (b) right click on the folder you want to share, clickshare , and then click share this folder .

  • P1102w - cannot reconnect to the network

I can't reconnect my printer laser p1102w to the network, or my system.  When I connect the USB port on my laptop, it attempts to save the connection, but does not a drive letter or anything like that.  I downloaded the latest installer.  When I try to add the printer and set it up for wireless access, nothing happens.  When I try to add and configure to access usb, installation product until he asks for the usb connection, how does not "meet" the printer when I plugged it.  (Yes, I tried several ports)  I tried the 'doctor' and he seems to be satisfied with it as a usb connection.  However, I don't know how to get connected to the net.  Is it possible to do this simply?

    Salvation for the end user.

I see that you are having a problem with put the printer on the network again.

I'll be happy to help you.

I would like to reset the printer first to clear the previous network settings.
Turn the printer off, press and hold the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer on and do not release both buttons until the printer stops making the noise.

Print a configuration report and check the SSID address and IP are disabled.
(hold down the x key and when the printer makes a noise to let go of taken)

After the reset, unplug the router power cable, wait 10 seconds, then reconnect the power cable.

    Wait, it's ready.

Because the USB connection does not work now, unplug the USB cable.

Run uninstall from the CD or the program files.

Here are the steps to run the uninstall of the computer or the CD.

    To uninstall program files:

Go to start and select a computer.

    Select the C drive.

Select the program files or program files x 86.

Open the HP name and printer folder.

    Select uninstall.

    Uninstall from the CD:

    Go to start, computer,

Make a left click Open in a new window, right click on the printer CD, double click on uninstall.

Run the Setup again and do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted to configure the wireless again.

    Test the printer.

I would setup an IP address from the printer so that it does not happen in the future.

Printer keeps not WiFi. Proceed to Solution 4: assign your printer a static IP address.

What operating system do you use? How to find the Windows Edition and the Version on your computer.

Please let me know if you need additional assistance.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

  • cRIO shared after the restart Variable

I use share Variables to configure a cRIO-9074 with some Boolean values, doubles and integers (ints), but when the cRIO reboot due to a power failure or any other reason, all shared variables must be redefined (I use another VI to set the configurations for each cRIO using shared Variables).

The box using DSC Toolkit I can put an initial value for each variable, but this does not solve my problem, since I have several cRIO running the same software, but using different configurations.

What I would like to change the k value for each shared Variable based on the last set value, so each time a cRIO reboot, it loads the last values for each shared Variable.

    Hello Quintino,

Perhaps you could store your data in a file available on the network and regularly update values (seconds or less, depending on your application). Then, when your cRIO begins, just initialize your variables shared with the contents of the file.

    Kind regards

Because I seek NOT to connect to another computer... I want to just access MY Public folder and the users folder and eventually allow others to access also.

    Hi Katmandu774,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

The Public folder is a convenient way to share files that are stored on your computer. You can share files in this folder with other people using the same computer and with people using other computers on the same network. Any file or folder you put in the folder Public is automatically shared with the people who have access to your Public folder.

If you are not on a domain, you can limit network access to the Public folder so that people with a user account and password for this computer. To do this, turn on sharing protected by password.

    1. Open the network and sharing Center by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click network and Internet, click network and sharing Center.
    2. Click the arrow next to password protected sharing, and then click one of the following options:

    ·         Turn on password protected sharing

    ·         Turn off password protected sharing

    1. Click apply. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To control the level of access to the Public folder

    1. Open the network and sharing Center by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click network and Internet, click network and sharing Center.
    2. Click the arrow next to public folder sharing, and then click one of the following options:

    ·         Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can open files

    ·         Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can open, change and create files

    ·         Turn off sharing (people logged on to this computer can still access this folder)

    1. Click apply. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Also, make sure you add everyone to the public folder and give the necessary permissions to access it.

  • Current file to use when it is disconnected from the network wireless/wired - shared network drive

    Hello

We have a problem where we receive a "file in use" message when you are disconnected from the network. To reproduce the problem, what we do is:

    (1) connect to the wired network wireless disabled with

    (2) create a test document

    (3) to enter text and save on network share

    (4) remove the network cable

    (5) add additional text

    (6) reconnect the network cable

    (7) try to save the file to the network share

At the beginning by clicking the X is the new message you want to save. Click Yes and the message arrives until the next time you hit the Hit of X no. and he loses the last change.

From here we then go up to the network share, open the file and it comes up with "file in use. Open read-only. File is opened by us (Administrator account), and there is NO temporary file in the shared folder.

    Tried so far:

-Run net config server/autodisconnect:-1 for trying to stop it disconnect the share

-Checked pane, pane preview and off 'display the description of the pop-up window for folder and desktop items '.

    -Windows Update

We try to reproduce on wired connection, because it is easier to reproduce that disconnects wireless. Seems to have an impact on several operating systems. Share folder is shared on a Windows 2008 R2 x 64 machine.

Is this a known problem or is there something that we can configure to try to prevent the locking file after logging out? Ideally, we want the decline to go unnoticed and provide uninterrupted service to the user, unless they are trying to save during the fall.

Thanks in advance for comments :)

  • After update for HP UPD PCL 5 on the network drivers, local printers now very slow printing

I've recently updated the HP Universal Print Driver PCL 5 on my Windows 2008 R2 file and print server.  All printers on network HP 5 now show the new driver of the UPD PCL 5, and 5 all seems to work fine from all clients on the attached network.

However, as soon as I had updated the drivers from server, anyone with a printer connected locally HP began to test response times very slow when trying to print jobs to their local printer or even bring up the properties of the local printer.  I think that it is because local printers also use the HP UPD PCL5 driver, and something "broke" when I updated the driver on the server.   If the local printer is set as default, trying to make it appear a Properties dialog box takes several seconds (before it was instant), and clicking PRINT in any application results in a noticeable delay for the print dialog box to appear, followed by another notable delay (as in 10-20 seconds) before work is treated and control the application returned ot the user.  The printer takes then to another a few seconds to process work.  Essentially print jobs local just went from 5 seconds to 30 seconds or more for each task to start to print more.  This is unacceptable.

I tried to remove all printers on network among the PC client, and then deleting the local printer as well.  I restarted, then used the install.exe HP UPD PCL 5 to start the installation on the local computer, choosing to do an installation of USB.  I turned on the printer local return and it has been recognized and loaded the new HP UPD PCL5 driver, but the problem persists.

So after messing around with this more yesterday I think I narrowed down it to a port number.  It seems that when computers with local printers connected downloaded the new UPD PCL 5 form the network (updated their drivers for network printer), he reconfigured the USB port for each printer connected locally.  The USB port on the local printer will now appear as "DOT4 generic IEEE 1284.4 support printing", while before I'm pretty sure he showed as "DOT4 HP Laserjet one."   This white paper (which is unfortunately for Windows XP) appears to support the hypothesis that the port has changed and that the generic port is much slower (this is what we see now with local printers).  White paper on the issue of generic DOT4 port

I tried to delete all printers that use the UPD from a local system and then using the install.exe form the UPD package to install the local printer as a USB printer (disconnection of the latter before installation and then in reconnecting it when you are prompted by Setup), still the same generic port is re-created.  How can I change the generic port to a specific port HP driver for printers normally respond again?

Furthermore, I opened a ticket with the help of HP on the issue Monday afternoon, it is now Wednesday morning and the only response I received was a request to make sure that my cables were not more than 6' long.  Seriously HP support?

My best guess is that you do not use the name of specific driver to the version on the print server.   Driver version-specific name will look like "HP Universal printing PCL6 (v5.9.0).   Non-specific to the version name will look like "HP Universal PCL6 print.

When you work with print servers, it is recommended to use the name of the version-specifc driver.   I think what happened here are that the driver has been updated on the server, and this update was then pushed to clients through point and print because the pilots names.

You have indicated that you are using the PCL5 driver.   In a general office print PCL6 offers the best combination of performance and print quality.   I recommend you go to PCL6 immediately, unless your devices or custom applications/solutions are not compatible with PCL6.  (This is very rare)

If it were my system, here's what I'd do.

    1. Download UPD PCL6 5.9.0 and PARK of www.hp.com/go/upd
    2. Install the UPD PCL6 5.9.0 on my print server using the name specific to the version - create a temporary queue.
    3. Run AutoUpgradeUPD.exe from the PARK to remove queues existing impression on my print server and re-create them with the PCL6 driver.   (See http://youtu.be/mYCVx1RBp9w for more information on this utility)
    4. Remove the temporary queue
    5. On my clients, I would remove the existing printer USB connections.
    6. Run the UPD PCL6 5.9.0 installer and select the USB - Plug and Play mode and make sure that both check boxes are enabled.
    7. Re-connect local printers.

Something else I could try to implement PRNCON of the PARK on each client.    It will be delete and re-create the connections to printer to the print server.    This can be run without command-line switches, but I like to use the '-2000 w' command to force a second 2 the delay between the removal of the printer connection and recreate.

In a last time, I'll make sure to remove any old/unused drivers from the print server.

  • LaserJet Pro M201nw: M201nw LaserJet Pro no longer meets the ePrint requests, a few minutes after connecting to the network

I've just implemented a new M201nw of the LaserJet Pro and it works fine, except for a problem with the printer with ePrint.

I could implement Web Services on the printer and add it to as an ePrint, connected HP printer. Thanks to ePrint and Google Cloud Print printing for a few minutes after you have turned on the printer.

But after a while, that can last from 3 to 10 minutes, the printer appears as "offline" in connected HP. If I check the settings ePrint to the printer through the front LCD or the web interface, for "ePrint Server Status", one of two things happening: sometimes there's just busy, or after a few seconds, I see "connection error. Check the Internet connection. »

When I see the error message, I ask 'Tour ePrint temporarily turned off.' The printer will reconnect ePrint and work for a few minutes again.

Local networking features of the printer such as network printing and web interface do not seem to have any problems.

I don't think that the problem is related to my internet connection, which is reliable. I can monitor the traffic on my network and see communication between servers, XMPP from HP ePrint and the printer when the printer is working normally. When the printer has this problem, I still see the traffic coming in from HP but no traffic coming out of the printer. It's very strange and suggests part of the firmware of the printer does not work properly.

Anyone else had problems with this printer model?

Finally, I have determined the cause of the problem. While doing a follow-up, I discovered a router not authorized on the network itself advertising via the Protocol RIP (Routing Information) emissions. It seems that his presence finally confused the printer to know where to send the traffic. After turning off the emissions from the router, the ePrint feature, now works well.
