  I'm sorry to say I think it's already too late! If our BlackBerry never am wet then we shouldn't try to turn to see if it works. Must immediately remove the battery and also SIM media card. We should put in a bag of uncooked rice that absorb moisture. Should allow for at least 3 to 4 days unless we are sure that the moisture has been absorbed completely. Then we need to put our BlackBerry over entire surface of output as stabilizing heat, or in the dashboard of a car on a sunny day. Before inserting the battery, we should be sure that it is completely dry.

  When moisture or any substance liquid in our BlackBerry it starts corrosion which leads to the problem like quick battery drainage, by typing problem and many more. You the current problem appears to be for this reason!

  Now, you can visit your Internet access provider to any repair store to see what they can offer.

  The A button on my blackberry curve does not work

  It had stoped working before but attaches but this time it did not work for a few months now

  This has caused some of my other keys to become slow to respond, which makes me think it is a software problem as the last time A key stopped working the other keys have been slow and when started it to work they were fine once again

  I tried many handfuls of battery and wipe my blackberry, but nothing worked this time :-(

  Any suggestions?

  Given that the wipe does not resolve A key work.  I suggest you contact your network service provider for repair/Exchange options.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Alt - Key when entering numbers

  Hey all - I'm new to the Board and looking for help. I have the 8830 world edition and use if for a little over a year now. When I type numbers I usually hold down the alt key and enter the number I want to - I could just hold down the ALT key and type in numbers; useful when you must enter a few at a time. Well, yesterday, all of a sudden this process no longer works. Now, I have to keep alt - ky, type a number for the next issue, I have to repeat once again - cannot simultaneously, hold the alt key and enter numbers. I know how Caps - Alt to enter long strings of numbers, but now it's a drag. Press alt, key number... repeat... ARGH!

  I checked keyboard settings and couldn't find anything useful, and hoping that this forum can help. Thank you!

  Here's what I did that worked. Turn off Blackberry, remove the battery, wait about 1 minute, insert the battery, turn way, back to normal.

  Go to your icon Options > SMS text > Press Enter Key to Send = Yes.

• Record blackBerry Smartphones problem

  On my screen, I made a folder to put all the shopping icons, I took the icons and moved them to the folder but now when I open the file nothing in it.  It shows nothing at all.  I only got the blackberry curve for 2 weeks and I did not understand this.  I just wanted a folder on the home screen to keep everything organized and so I wouldn't have so many icons to scroll.  Can someone please tell me why the folder is empty and where the icons are gone to?  Any suggestions at all would be great.

  This happened to me when I created first of all my folder and then once again recently. It is solved by a battery pull. Remove the battery with the phone on and leave it for 30 seconds. Replace and allow the phone for 1-3 minutes to restart. Then check the file back. Please let me know.

• Send blackBerry Smartphones Green key does nothing

  The green button at the bottom of the storm do nothing on my phone. I guess this open the pone application or send a call when a contact is selected. I pressed the button in all applications just to see if she would do anything... nothing. Should I define a shortcut for this key? or is there a way to remedy this?   Unfortunately there is no combination of keys to call up the menu on the screen.

  Menu can be called only through click wheel.

  Yes, you can. Open the message you want to save, press Menu > SAVE.

  Every 20 minutes all the keys of my stop responding, is what I am able to use the touch screen. If I take the battery for 10 minutes or so, it works again, but not for long.

  More and more, it becomes very annoying, I can't call, since I can dial only, I can receive calls, but that's all. I really need this to be fixed, it's not even a month!

  I think that Bill wanted to say is that some cases have a "loving" in them...

  This wasn't the problem for me, however.  I got the Seidio Innocase active which, while it came with whith case had a magnet, the case itself is not.  For some reason any case be too snug around the unit, causing my problems.  Don't know why this is, but I have heard since others have suffered ths same thing the case Seidio so that cases from other manufacturers... that's why I asked if you had a case on the device.

  Yesterday I took a contract with Virgin Mobile for a Blackberry Curve 8520. I chose Virgin I had one talk mobile with them for years and wanted to keep my number with a minimum of fuss.

  Have to say it was one of the worst "out of the box experiences' I recently had with any technology.

  While the Virgin systems say the phone is registered, the site Blackberry say what is not have held to the hotline of the Virgin for 10 minutes and then listen to the Scissor Sisters (aaarghhh!) I was told that I would need to talk to a specialist in Blackberry that would call with 72 HOURS!

  I googled this problem and it appears on several non-Blackberry forums / Virgin. If anyone can put me in touch with someone who can make me operational, I would be grateful. Is not on a phone out of combat for 72 hours (do not know how the weekend will this affect).

  I called Virgin again and this time, that the music was "the answer my friend is blowin' in the wind" which, at the time, seemed entirely appropriate.

  Operator has promised to call back with more information within an hour.

  Shortly after I received confirmation of registration and has managed to set up my email properly. So I think I am now running.

  To rule out any problems with your media Please format your card media and if that does not work try using another card to see if the problem is in the map press or your device

  KB10527 : Media card can not be read. Check that the memory card is formatted.
